Power did our neighbors roof a few months back so we decided to give them a chance at our roof. The price is a little high, but understandable because they use top quality products. The consultant was very very professional and very knowledgeable of the industry and the products. Job is going very well and overall we are very satisfied with our choice. We highly recommend power to anyone that is interested in getting the roof repaced.

This is the second time that we have worked with Power Home Remodeling. The first, they replaced half of the windows in our house. That project worked so well that we re-hired them to replace our failing gutters. Shortly after the installation, we had a huge rain storm. I was delighted to see the water pouring out of the spouts just as it should. The teams have been a pleasure to work with and are on time and practiced at what they do. And they clean up behind themselves. I gave the price a B only because price can pretty much never be an A.

I accepted the offer of a free estimate from a door-to-door salesman. I asked him to wait at the door and checked Angie's List to make sure they were reputable. Seeing mostly positive reviews, I scheduled the free estimate for the next night. The young man was very nice and thoroughly assessed our property, despite the rain. He stated that our roof was in terrible shape - the plywood soaked through, split rafters, some mold, and we'd need it immediately replaced. He stressed that no one should walk on the roof as it was so waterlogged. He also showed us photos of our attic that appeared to support what he was saying. We were confused as we'd only bought this house 3 yrs ago and the inspection said we had about 6-7 yrs left on this roof. He said that inspectors are often in league with the realtor, but with the realtor being our good friend, we were a little suspect about this. Be warned, the sales pitch is fancy and shiny and HARD. After this doomsday assessment he flashed a bunch of different numbers, talked a lot about how trustworthy they are, then gave me the "tonight only" deal of $32k for new plywood and shingles, which would be $37k if we didn't sign tonight. I was shocked at how high it was but knowing nothing and this being our first estimate, we had nothing to compare it to. I should've known better, about ALL of this, but we were pretty scared that our roof was about to cave in. I usually get 3-5 estimates and research the **** out of things but man, this guy was practically asking us to do trust-falls by the end of the negotiation. It was a good psych experiment to be sure. I negotiated down to $26k and then we signed the contract which mentions you have 72 to renege. In mentioning this, he literally said "but now we can't let this happen, so let's shake that we don't cancel on this contract." Looking back, I can't help but laugh at how ludicrous this all was. Fast forward to the next day when my realtor send over his roof guy, who is a structural engineer with 22 yrs experience. He finds no split rafters or mold in our attic (makes those photos seem very suspect) and then proceeds to walk and even jump on our roof. He agrees though that while our roof isn't caving in, it was due to be replaced soon and quotes us for new plywood and shingles at $14k, over $10k less than our "one-time-only-special-negotiated price". I immediately mailed in the notice of cancellation (the contract gives you the option to mail or telegram...hunh???) and called their costumer service to notify them I was cancelling the contract and I had grave concerns with what went down. At the very least, the assessment was incorrect and at most, fraud. And their pricing...ridiculous. One thing I can say, though, is that their costumer service agent was SUPER nice and made sure everything was cancelled, management was notified (or at least she said they were). Here's my takeaway from this whole thing...if you want to use Power, get 3-4 estimates FIRST. Then when they promise you the cadillac of roofs, you can decide whether the pricing is accurate. Other people seem to like their work, but I ultimately paid $14k and have a great roof and and an additional $12k in my pocket.

WE WOULD VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND POWER HRG! Power HRG was absolutely FABULOUS from beginning to the end of the job! They were very professional with all steps of the process to complete the work on our house, along with being great people and personalities. We were thoroughly informed through every step from the sales process, including financing, when the supplies would be delivered to our house, all steps in between to finishing of our roof, sky lights, gutters, downspouts and capping. Any questions that we had they were more than happy to answer to our satisfaction. The work crews were very timely, worked very hard, courteous and polite. They were serious about doing a great job, which we really appreciated. They obtained all permits. All we had to do was open the gate for the work to start until they finished. Due to their professionalism, the final inspection went very smoothly. When they finished all the work, they cleaned up everything! Since we are an elderly couple and Lori has Multiple Sclerosis, the crews willingly helped us to remove a few other items on our deck. If we had to do this again, Power HRG would be the FIRST place we would call. If our friends/family want a recommendation, Power HRG would be the first place we would recommend. Power is installing my new roof now. I found power at the local wholesale club previously and didn't realize it was the same company that knocked on my door last month. The salesman that I met with was absolutely amazing, he gave me a thorough education on just how much goes into a roofing system. The products that they offer are top-quality any installation is going extremely well. I'm very happy with my decision to use power to replace the roof and so far so good on the install portion. The installers are very professional and extremely hard-working, they are going to finish my entire roof in one day. Definitely recommend this company

I scheduled an estimate at a home show for windows and gutter replacement. The estimate took 3 hours and included a special buy now price, which is to be expected and so predictable. However, I was not ready to buy, as I had arranged 2 more estimates for later in the week. The salesman was nice, but relentless. Plus, at the end it felt like dealing with an old time used car salesman, who secretly writes down the special price, then reveals it to you with dramatic effect. The product appears to be really good and the company appears to have a good rep and mostly good reviews, but they really need to back off a bit and let folks think things through. This idea that they are providing efficiency by pressuring you to sign up that day is based on the idea that they have to make another sales call when you finally make up your mind. Can't they simply hold the estimates for a specific period of time and if you decide to go with them, you call them, they send you the contract, you sign and send it back? I know it sounds like heresy to the home remodeling industry, but I doubt if its against the law, as my salesman told me. Really?

It's the second time we have used Power for projects o Power for project folder n our home. Last year we did the windows with them and we were very impressed, so we decide to use them again this year for the roof. All of our expectations have always been exceeded, and the quality of their products are unmatched. We have nothing but confidence with this company and are certainly a lifelong customer. Everything was just perfect. Fast, efficient and super clean. When I had my gutters done they had six guys do it in about 30 minutes. I was blown away. My attic was done in about four hours. My roof had 9 guys and finished in about 10 hours. They do a better job then you can possibly imagine. My only regret is that I don't own them.

Power Home Remodeling did a fantastic job with the installation of 7 windows. Kevin Milks (highly recommend), did an excellent job of providing detailed information on the hardware and the installation process. He made himself available to answer any questions and even checked in to see how the installation was going and inspected the final job. The windows are fantastic. They look great and have reduced our electric bill by $20-$30/month. Before the installation, we could feel air coming through the crack around the windows, but now they are air tight. We can also sit inside with sun shining through and not feel the heat. I'm very happy with the entire job and would highly recommend. Also, I'm happy with the boost to our property value!

Excellent work done very professionally throughout the process. Crews were timely and cleaned up after the job. Follow-up was done to make sure we were satisfied with the job. We could have probably done it for a cheaper price but the quality could not have been better.

They were expensive, but really good. The roof was about 17-18 years old. It just didn't look good. It wasn't leaking or anything, but it was mainly because we had dry rot in the roof deck so it all had to come off anyway, so we went with a really high rated roof company, and that was Power Home Remodeling. Their crew was efficient, because our square footage was quite a bit, what I'm trying to say is that I wasn't afraid that they would throw things off and damage all my shrubs and my landscaping. They had this big, huge slide and they threw the stuff and it all slide down. There was one part where they couldn't get the dumpster that collect things up close on the driveway, but then they had a shoot that they had. Everything went into one place. They did a marvelous job of cleaning up and going around with a magnetic thing that pull out any nails. We upgraded the decking, so the old original contractor grade was 3/8 of an inch, this was just under 1/2 of an inch. We had a considerably stronger roof now, the other one was sagging. Their guarantee of 50 years. It's just wonderful. The thing is that we notice a difference in every way. Like if I turn on the propane fireplace, it turns the chill off and it stays in the house and eventually goes upstairs. It stays nice and toasty because it's well insulated and the roof deck makes it better. I notice a complete difference. It's just better. It's quite a unique design. It's a lot of money, but it's sound proof. I think for quality; the price was there. It matches the quality. When they were working on the garage and they leaned one of their pieces of equipment it damaged the gutter. They replaced that whole line of gutter. It wasn't that bad it was a little dent. They put a whole new gutter and it was nice.

Everything went pretty well. Overall we are very satisfied with the project. Were weren't ready to do the windows at the time, but after talking with the salesman we decided to go ahead and get them done. The installers did great work and the were very friendly. The price was a bit higher than we found elsewhere but the quality was unmatched that justified the price difference. Overall I would say we are happy with our purchase. Thanks

After the last major wind storm we had, I lost some shingles ... but did not know this until the next major rain storm he had, which was 2 days ago. Called to schedule and get an estimate on replacing my entire roof, but Dave would not schedule one due to the fact that my wife had to be present during the estimate. She works out of town 5 days a week. Dave "danced" around my questions to confirm that she "HAD TO BE PRESENT" when getting the estimate. After asking him a 3rd time, he finally indicated that they won't schedule an estimate unless she was there. (He was acting kind of smarmy IMHO ...) I have a sudden major leak, and this is my problem to fix, and I need a quote ASAP, so I can get the work done ASAP ! Very negative experience for me. Needless to say, I will never be calling them again.

Job is going very well so far. The sales guy did a good presentation and the company seemed very reputable so we decided to chose them over other companies we met with. We are happy with our decision because the quality seemed unmatched. The job isn't fully finished yet but we anticipate they will meet all of our expectations. A+ experience so far

Quite a good experience because it was something I was just thinking of, then out of nowhere a guy knocked on my door and I normally don't answer but I decided to hear them out. I ended up purchasing all the windows in my home, the quality and workmanship is excellent and I'm very pleased with the overall project.

We met power home remodeling from the Dulles Expo home show. We also me several other roofing companies also. We had several other estimates prior to meeting with Clay and Kelsey. After meeting with them and see there professionalism and warm personalities, we canceled all other estimates previous setup with other companies. The price, product and staff won our business. Power has install a brand new roofing system with a great warranty that will be us peace of mind. They install the roof and cleaned up very quickly and even clean up the leafs i had out front. (Talk about going extra mile)

The installation crew, headed up by Jorge, were marvelous. It was a big job and it was completed in a day. The quality of the windows are great but the warranty on the windows is even better and can be transferred to a new owner. Our house is much quieter now and we feel already how it will help with our utilities. They aren't the cheapest in town, but the quality and warranty were important to me. What I also appreciated was that the project manager took time to make sure that everything I originally ordered would work out to my satisfaction. This actually resulted in a reduced price overall........how often do you hear that.

Having the roof and gutters replaced today everything seems be going pretty well. I originally saw them in the neighborhood doing some work on the neighbors home and it looked very good so I decide to give them a chance. Connor came out from the sales department and did a great job of explaining the products to me. After meeting with him I felt very confident the power would do a great job on my house. The installers are working fast and the roof is already looking great. Definitely happy with my choice. Highly recommended.

Went to the local home show looking for a contractor to replace my windows and doors and found power. Since the very first meeting I have felt very confident in the company. The work that they do seems to be second to none as well as the warranty. The craftsmanship is excellent and installers are very Professional. The salesman that I met with was very knowledgeable friendly and polite. He helped design a door that would look great on my home and be energy-efficient. I am very satisfied with my selection of power HRG.

Very well and fast. Installed 24 windows in one long day. The house is much quieter and we already see an improvement in our HVAC bills.

Had 22 windows replaced on an 85 year old house. The crew arrived on time, very professional and hard working. Needless to say a big job. The team was honest about what could be done, what would look best and even suggested a less expensive solution. .......how often does that happen. Will definitely use this company again. The windows themselves, are amazing with an incredible warranty.

From the initial contact with this company via their door-to-door reps, I was impressed with the professionalism and the friendliness of their personnel. They took the time to explain and demonstrate the quality of the product and to answer our questions. If asked by my neighbors and friends, I would highly recommend Power Home Remodeling.

Roofing job is going very well. Power has done a very good job throughout the entire process. The sales and Mike was fantastic, and explained everything thoroughly. From the time we saw them in the store, and today the job is going exactly as explained. We are very happy with her decision to choose power to replace our roof. The 50 year warranty and the products they are putting on our home are second to none. The crew is fantastic and is doing a great job installing the roof today. Seems like the job Is going very smoothly and will certainly be finished by the end of the day today!!

Sales person was very thorough and gave me every option to make me feel comfortable. As far as the installation goes everything looks excellent and they explained the entire process thoughly. Unless something changes the job is going well and I am very pleased with the overall experience!
