We are very happy with both the work on the gutters and downspouts and the front door. The workers arrived promptly and were very thorough and efficient. We had two separate teams do the work. The team working on the gutters and downspouts arrived in the morning and went right to work. They replaced our old gutters and downspouts and did it professionally and quickly. Later in the afternoon the team came out and worked on the door. They totally removed the old door and the frame and replaced everything with a new foam core door with a reinforced wooded lock block, new hardware, and hinges. They cleaned up and hauled away all the debris from the old door.

Personnel were prompt and professional, all work was very well done, work areas were cleaned up when work was completed.

They dropped off supplies on a Friday with out informing anyone. Just came home and stuff was in my driveway with not where to park. I called and they said they would contact someone to move it but I ended up doing it myself because no one came or called. Never spoke with a project manager or heard from anyone during the install or after. They did windows for me and they were very responsive but not this time. The work was perfect and well done. I guess they will read this to find out if I'm satisfied with the job.

I have used Power Home Remodeling in the past and was impressed with their excellent workmanship, quality of product, and professionalism. I replaced 32 year old aluminum siding that was certainly showing its age with a vinyl siding. Included was a "raindrop underlayment", a form-fit insulation, J-channel strips, inside and outside corner posts... and, of course, they cleaned up and hauled away all debris. My home has been "renewed" and I think it looks new and fantastic. The team was friendly and professional. Thanks so much!

It went beautifully. Everything happened as planned and explained in advance. The crew really knew what they were doing which is no surprise because they do this every day. Very fast and efficient -- but without sacrificing quality. After the project was completed, we were so impressed and happy with the overall change in comfort and appearance of the room, we scheduled more work -- two more windows in a different room. Power offered us a very reasonable discount price for future work. We decided to have them come back the very next month!

All people we have dealt with have been extremely professional, and it shows how proud they are of their company. Door has been installed and looks great! Siding will begin soon, and we already know it will be great based on service so far.

We needed a new roof. Upon inspection, we discovered that the decking on our existing roof had some mould, so that needed to be replaced as well. Power Home Remodeling is very aggressive about selling their services, but they hire all subcontractors to do the work. There was inadequate communication between the salesman, the project manager, and the guys who actually did the work. This was in Fairfax, VA in 2013. Guess what!? They didn't replace the moldy decking. We were also told that they would not need to take off the gutters, but that's the first thing they did - this ruined the warranty on the gutters. First, we had to remediate the mouldy roof decking. This cost quite a bit more to do later rather than as the shingles were being replaced. Then, they didn't replace rotting wood in one of the soffits. Whoever heard of a roofing company that doesn't do a professional, thorough job? The following year, a raccoon chewed into the bad wood and moved into our attic to have her babies. It cost another couple of thousand to have a pest control company remote the raccoon and perform exclusion work. Third, when the the roofing subcontractor mis-estimated shingles, they tried to tell us that no one could tell the difference between the architectural shingles we had ordered and the flat ones he had used in two patches. Power promised when they sold us the roof that this would eliminate the problem of ice dams and icicles. That wasn't true either. The insulation is better, but the icicles are worse. Power sent a company person to inspect so they could sign off on it, but basically don't believe everything they tell you. Lastly, before the process was even finished, Power sent a second "quality care" salesperson to push us into putting a positive review online on Angi. My husband did this, but I wish we hadn't. This second review is a follow-up on the first, but I wish I had written it sooner.

The person who answers their Angie's List emails is VERY counterproductive. They are not at all helpful even with the smallest thing. They started off with not answering my message until 3 days later. When they finally responded they continuously kept pushing me to call them (This assumes Angie's List messages are worthless) to set up an appointment after I spent my TIME sending them an email stating my availability. Totally unproductive and a waste of time. They will never get my business!

Our introduction to Power Home Remodeling came as a result of a happenstance meeting with Mamadou Barry. Had a delightful conversation which prompted us to pursue a demo of the windows. This initial meeting was with Zach Cecil, and he couldn’t have been more professional and personable. He walked us through every aspect of the process from demo to installation. The install crew was top shelf and did a fantastic job on the install. From start to finish it was a painless process. We’re immensely happy with everything and we will absolutely be utilizing this company’s services in the very near future.

The good news: They appear to have a superior, quality product. The salesperson was personable, knowledgeable and thorough. The bad news: It took 2.5 hours to get a price from the salesperson and that was after I asked him to cut his repetitive sales presentation short. In my opinion, 2.5 hours seems very long. There's also a "today only" price which is lower than the regular price. They push very hard to have all home owners (i.e. husband and wife) present through the presentation.

Very professional. Neat and they cleaned up after themselves. High quality materials. I would recommend them to everyone.

From the young man who first knocked on our door, to the Consultant who came to explain the project, to the installation team that showed up on time, to the quality assurance officer who showed up mid job, everything about this company and it's employees was 5 star all the way. I couldn't have treated myself as well as they did.

Extremely pusy salespeople. Insisted wife had to be home and then spent 2.5 hours trying to sell me on products beofre quote. Did not leave itemized quote despite me requsting it. Only left quote for replacing all siding and all windows for 80k

Installation team was amazing, on time, worked non-stop, cleaned up...just perfect! Very pleased with the results. I have worked with this company before with replacing 43 windows...everything has been A+.

The whole process was impressive. From getting the estimate to doing the job, our roof was done within a week. To clarify, the roofing job itself took just one day. We mainly chose Power to do our roof for their long lasting warranty. Having the peace of mind that our roof will last for 50 years or be repaired if needed was enough to justify the higher cost for the roofing job. We would gladly choose Power again for future home remodeling projects. They do quality work with professional service.

The widows was replaced on December 23rd. The crew was professional and protective of our environment. The window area was protected with plastic and the old windows was removed. The new windows was replaced and the outside color casing was installed. The color I picked went well with the outside of the house. We had two sliding doors replaced. They both have encased mini blinds. The doors are stylish and the final touch that I was impressed with is the perfect look of the molding and doors finalized look. 17 windows ans 2 sliding doors replaced. The heat savings noticed instantly with the decrease in outside sound. We love our new purchase. Thank you, Power Team

Very high pressure sales tactics. We agreed to the price and signed the contract. Another representative showed up 2 days prior to the install date and told us they made a mistake on the estimate and it would cost us $3,000 more. They refused to honor the agreed upon contract price so we cancelled the install.

Everything went smoothly. The crew was very professional and pleasant. Everything was well explained ahead of time. The foreman made sure that I was happy with the work done. Love our new roof!

Our home is about 25 years old and has wooden windows that are not particularly energy efficient. They are drafty, and, despite our best efforts, are starting to rot in some parts of the window frames. Power replaced four windows for us in September. We were so impressed with the work, we asked for estimates on replacing other windows in our house! Power has a great program that enables you to lock in estimates for many years, and you can replace as few as two or three at a time -- to minimize the impact of installation (although it is a very efficient process with these pros), and help the homeowner plan ahead and budget for the expense.. They returned in December to replace more windows. We plan to bring them back in the future to replace three more. Both installation experiences were handled very efficiently and professionally. All the workers introduced themselves, and explained the process -- so we knew what to expect. We were amazed by how quickly the work proceeded but I guess that makes sense given the fact that these guys are very smart, highly trained, and do this all day every day. They really know window installation and can handle any challenge. They put down drop clothes to protect our wood floors and carpet, and vacuumed after. The caulking was flawless, and they cleaned the glass beautifully. They also demonstrated the many features of the new windows, and how they can be opened for easy cleaning. Believe it or not, new windows in my home office was my Christmas gift this year. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, or a better product.

I had an appointment today for a window replacement estimate. I would never use the company based on the treatment and attitude of the sales representative. Jeff was rude and critical of my home noting throughout the appointment the poor quality of the materials used by the builder in my home. More effort should be taken on customer service and treating people with respect and less on the sleazy car salesman mentality. The company was invited into my home to provide a service not be critical of my home. I would never use or recommend your company. I will be sure to tell my friends and neighbors to steer away from this company.

Power did a fantastic job from the sales pitch to the installation. All of their employees are professional, friendly and know their trades -they were able to answer all of my questions, offer suggestions, they were prompt with responses and with showing up to install the windows. I would work with them again and highly recommend them.
