Description of Work: Replace air conditioning and work on replaced furnace part to bring up to standard.

Description of Work: Needed replacement of furnace, cental air. What a wonderful experience. Mirko was professional, early for appointments, always responded to calls, texts, emails, etc. There was no attempt at gouging or suggesting what wasn't needed. He transposed a gas line to make more space in the furnace room. He also returned to wait for the DC DCRA to inspect the work as a part of his fee (with a 5% discount for elderly or Angie's List customers). Can't say enough about how pleased I was with the whole experience. It's his own bonded, insured business that he takes pride in. Would recommend him to everyone and will use his services again and again. He's not a salesperson. He actually does the work and knows exactly what is needed. Thanks, Mirko!!

Description of Work: After the power outage took out our AC unit, contractor tried new fan control unit the very next day. That didn't work, so he drove and picked up the control unit - all at no charge. I have decided, after he gave me 3 repair and 2 new unit options to go with a new unit. New system was picked up, installed and tested the very next day. Super affordable in comparison with other contractors, left everything super clean. Offers repair warranty (parts and labor at no charge. Highly recommended!

Description of Work: We have used Mirko's services in the past, and found him very reliable and prompt in his response and work. However, in January we contacted him again for one of our rental apartments for a system check -- nothing broken, just in need of a good cleaning to optimize the system. The first time we did not get a response (via e-mail), then after the second time he sent us an e-mail stating that he was sick and was not working at the time. Later, after noticing that he was working again (thru Angie's list), we contacted him for another job in one of our rental units. Never returned our call. Over the past weekend, one unit for our own house is started malfunctioning, so we e-mailed Mirko, who finally replied stating that he cannot take any more work... Very disappointing

Description of Work: I needed a large 18000 BTU window air conditioning unit installed and he came out promptly to give estimate and explained clearly why he could not install it and gave me advice on how I need to proceed. I was not charged for the estimate and was not made to feel silly for bringing him out to make an estimate on work I needed a contractor for; the back of my house is slightly unstable. :) I will definitely call them again for any HVAC needs.
