They were good but priced kind of high. I had glass stain on the top of the table that he didn't get it out. I think he could have but it would have been quite expensive.

I contacted Woodchip via their website form. I received an immediate response and the owner, Pascal, came out to examine a damaged curio and provide an estimate. He was punctual and professional. He sent a written estimate via email that was reasonable. He gave an approximate date of repair. (Glass inserts needed to be ordered to replaced broken glass among other things. In the time frame he had given us, he called to arrange the appointment for the repair. He arrived promptly and did the work -- the work area was tidy. The curio looks lovely now. Pascal is very precise in his work. He was also kind enough to make a small repair to our front door.

Mr. Laigle came out to provide an estimate for the repair of my late grandmother's china/buffet unit. He made arrangements to meet with me at my convenience and was also very patient as I called him at the last minute to let him know that I would be running about a 1/2 hour late. He was very prompt and very courteous with me and explained to me step by step how he would be able to make the needed repair. His knowledge of his trade was very impressive. I'd only told him the history of the cabinet during the short time it had been in my possession here in Maryland. I was very surprised when he'd asked me if the cabinet had ever been kept in a humid location. I then realized that the 20+ years it had been in Florida when my grandparents moved there from MD, was the likely culprit. Mr. Laigle explained to me the ramifications of this damage and the steps he planned to take to remedy the problem. While I ultimately decided to part with the piece and purchase a new cabinet in which to display Grandma's and quot;treasuresand quot;, I would certainly consider using Woodchips for any future wooden furniture repairs. ***While I did not disclose his estimate in my report, I also found his pricing to be extremely fair. After considering the photos of his past work, which is posted on Angie's List and the company's website I feel convinced that he would only provide quality results for his clients.

I took the broken items to him. and ldquo;Pascal Laigle explained what he could do, provided an estimate, and gave an approximate time to get the job done. He delivered the repaired items within the time promised. Repaid quality high and as good as I could hope for.
