Description of Work: Tim and his electrician installed a ceiling fan with light kit and a bathroom fan/light combination. Each of the installations required cutting into drywall, proper bracing, and electrical work. I had already purchased the ceiling fan; Tim purchased the bathroom vent fan / light kit.

Description of Work: Tim Newell did a great job with a variety of tasks. Knowing that Tim is a true professional, I had saved up several small jobs so that when he came, he could tackle them all in a short period of time. During his last visit, he hung draperies in three bedrooms, hung pictures and a clock on walls. He also installed a large mirror in my dining room. Those were the small jobs. Tim showed me how to some of these things myself. He also helped with a really problematic kitchen cabinet. He rebuilt the interior of the cabinet and installed a two-tier unit that would allow greater storage capability as well as make the cabinet more user friendly for a disabled family member. He purchased the unit based on measurements I gave him over the phone. The unit he installed is perfect and provided a far better outcome than the solution I had given Tim. Lastly, he installed two rather heavy and difficult to install shelves in my kitched. I had purchased these shelves, and having read the reviews on the product, knew that the installation was going to be tricky. This is the main reason I called Tim. He did a great job with the shelves and they have totally transformed the look and function of my kitchen. It is hard to categorize Tim's services as handyman, so I will provide a brief list of jobs he has done for me in the past: installed sinks and faucets; basic electrical work; installed bathroom and ceiling fans; interior painting; drywall repair and installation; measured, ordered, and installed a butler's pantry with custom countertop, and many other things I can't remember.

Description of Work: Newell Contracting built an enclosure for our main air conditioning unit which is installed under the eaves in our finished attic. The requirements for the enclosure were 1) that the enclosure cover the wall opening in front if the unit, 2) that it be easily removable to allow for access to the unit whenever service was needed, 3) and that blend in with the decor of the room. Mr Newell designed and built a wonderful piece that not only satisfies all our requirements but that also looks very attractive and blends in perfectly with the rest of the furniture of that room.

Description of Work: Mr. Newell takes care of the overall maintenance of our home, including electrical equipment, plumbing, painting, carpentry, furniture assembly and repair, installation of UV film on skylights, and any other kind of remodelling/repai job maybe needed.

Description of Work: I used Newell Contracting Llc last week to fix a door. There was a problem with the weather stripping on the door. He fixed that and tightened up the sides.

Description of Work: We had experienced water damage to cabinets, walls and countertops due to a roof leak. Even though we repaired the leak, we knew we had a lot of work to do. Tim Newell gave us a estimate about replacing drywall, countertops, hanging new cabinets and a cabinet-mounted microwave, which he vented through the wall rather than through the roof, in addition to installing new chair rails, a new pot rack, and painting. Our kitchen looked brand new for very little money.
