New Age Lighting

Just in the electrician was letter than on time he was early (& called shead to be sure that was ok). Repair was done & checked.

The major issue I had with New Age (a subcontractor to a kitchen remodel) was the price. However, it's possible the contractor added on a large fee and New Age charged them a reasonable price. Certainly the other prices on Angie's List appear reasonable. They rewired no more than a third of the house (probably less, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt), but I was charged more than another reviewer who had a whole house rewired. (My house is about 1300 SF, not a huge house - although it was built in the 1950s.) Granted, the rewiring they did was probably the most complex - rather than just rewiring existing outlets and lights! The work looks fine. They sometimes didn't show up when the contractor said they were supposed to, but I don't know whose fault that was. When they did show, they came about 7:30 in the morning, even though the contractor was scheduled to come no earlier than 8, and usually came around 8:30. Again, I don't know whose issue that was. Good work, I'd use them again based on other reviews, but would want a good estimate - my experience was that they were too expensive.

When I first called, the service manager correctly diagnosed and understood the problem and what kind of tools and equipment might be needed by the technician. I have dealt with New Age for almost 5 years and would use no one else for our electrical needs. They are informed, up-to-date, efficient, cost-effective and courteous. It's more like calling a partner and friend than a service provider. The technician arrived on time as scheduled and called 30 minutes prior to alert us. He was, as all New Age technicians, prepared, skilled and friendly. He immediately found a solution and electrical source for the new dimmer and light, and spent nearly an hour working with us trying various LED substitutes for our current ceiling halogen lighting---to get the proper color, intensity, and flood-light area coverage. They will be special ordering the bulb we selected and speaking with the technical staff of the manufacturer to get the proper specs for the dimmer. Once again, New Age has come through for us. We have NEVER been disappointed with the quality, efficiency or courtesy of their service. There are literally NO other service providers with whom we would rather work than New Age. And the quality starts from the top down. In this age of faux friendliness and inanimate recorded service providers, New Age is unique. We feel fortunate to have been introduced to them 5 years ago.

Not sure of price - he completed one of 4 jobs included in this contract, but price is on high side, but fair. Jason is 100% reliable, knowledgeable and efficient. He arrived on schedule and left after everything was done & explained to me. No mess, just quality work!

A quick easy fix. In addition the technician, Justin Baker gave me important information on the different types of bulbs in that I had to insert two new bulbs in the light. He recommended LED bulbs over the CFL's I had. I made the decision to purchase two LED bulbs for replacement. My decision was based on the longevity of the LED bulbs.

Justin did a comprehensive estimate he proposed and then accomplished everything promised. They were not detered by 24 inch walls.

Emailed Justin yesterday evening and he was here before 9:30 - he repaired the fixture and diagnosed another problem. As always a perfect job.

Everything went according to the service request and schedule. The technician gave me helpful information related to the ceiling light that needs to be replaced. I'm calling the company this afternoon to schedule the replacement of the ceiling light.

New Age's scheduler had a very gracious telephone manner, walked me through some questions to figure out exactly what was needed, and was able to squeeze the job in within 48 hours. The electrician was on time -- early, in fact, and called in advance to make sure that was convenient for us. He handled the job professionally, neatly, and cost-effectively. He even shared a how-to tip with the Lutron switch that the original installer hadn't shown us. The broken sconce will require a trip to the lamp repair shop, but as soon as it's fixed, we won't hesitate to call New Age Electric again to install it. Based on the outstanding initial experience, New Age is our new go-to for electrical services. Top-notch!

Justin came - eventhough we were told he wasn't available for another 2 weeks, and took photos to help determine a plan of action.

Justin was extremely professional and very accommodating when we encountered problems with the fixture order(#5), despite having to come back twice to finish the contract.

After a slow start, everything went well. Electricity was off for 8+ hours. They were pleasant and nice. Knowledgeable about the installation.

Justin was wonderful. Demonstrated those weird bulbs I could not understand how to install. Called 20 minutes out, was on time and fixed every small issue , was personal - even petted the dog!

The Technician was very amiable, careful, and clean. He had to run a number of tests to figure out our 100-year-old house wiring. He discovered problems made previously by another sub-contracor. He explained everything clearly. I think these folks are great!

New Age showed up this a.m. and resolved about 10 separate electrical issues. They were highly efficient and highly professional. We will use them again.

The service man Justin was professional and kind! I will ask for him again and I will contract New Age electric again!!
