I called them on Wednesday afternoon. They offered a time on Thursday, but I couldn't do it, so we scheduled for Friday. The techinician called 30 minutes before arriving. He covered his shoes when entering the house. He found a sub-panel that I didn't even realize existed. he repaired the problem and was out in less than an hour. He was kind and courteous. He gave me information about a whole-house surge protector, but did not press about it. I have used them before, and my experience is always the same. They are knowledgable, courteous and punctual. What more could you want?

I never contracted the work because of the price.

They were polite, clean and efficient. We would highly recommend them, and we will definitely use them again.

They were really slow in getting the bid to me. I had requested something that they had left off the bid, so I had to call them back and tell them, so they had to send me a second bid. I got three bids and they were all pretty close, so I guess it was $5000. I did not like the fact that I had to call them back for a price on something I particularly asked for a price. There was just one guy that came out and did the estimate and he was fine and he seemed to be pretty professional.

Electrician was punctual and professional. He identified safety hazards with existing wiring associated with the exterior light installation and performed additional work to compensate at a reasonable price. The repair of the interior switch is a different story. It appeared to be repaired, but the sparking just moved to the switch adjacent to the problem that had previously been fine. All work was completed in November, the bill didn't arrive until January (weeks after I called to see what had happened). Overall, exterior lighting work was great. The problem with the interior switch and the significant delay in getting the bill resulted in my lower ratings.

I placed the call on Monday morning, the call was returned Monday early afternoon and an appointment was set up for that afternoon between 2-2:30pm. I was told up front the cost of labor. The electrician arrived at 2:30 took care to determine the problem, fixed it, cleaned up after himself and gave me a bill at the agreed upon price, everything from start to finish was very professional. I will definitely seek out their service again when the need arises.

Electrician spent more time than probably necessary. Also, he tried to charge me for one hour, when he was there for 15 minutes longer.

The charges are $150.00 per hour or part of an hour for the master electrician, $75.00 for a journeyman. The part for the china cabinet had to be ordered and was installed in a few minutes, but it still cost $150.00! However, we had called two other companies--one was booked several weeks ahead, the other had its truck in the shop and didn't know when they could come. Both companies were slow to return our calls. New Age was prompt, polite and did a good job.

I called New Age (who I had used before, happily) yesterday afternoon with a problem outlet for my dishwasher. They called back within an hour to schedule the work for the following morning. Two men (1 was an apprentice) arrived on the dot of when they were due, went right to work, replaced two outlets (I had only identified one on the phone), and then when I asked them about the outside lighting setting gizmo, they cheerfully adjusted it for me and showed me how to do it myself next time. They were very professional, polite and a pleasure to work with.
