The estimate was done by the owner who was very knowlegable. I scheduled work within 2 weeks of the estimate. The crew installed a replacement centeral air conditiioner with coil for a 2 story Dutch Colonial on the date agreed. I showed the contract to the crew to be sure that they knew exactly what work had to be done. And, the price was the best of three quotss that I obtained.

We had an AWFUL experience last year with a different Air Conditioning repair company and this year we had to find someone new. We got a recommendation from our contractor for MP Energy and were so happy. They were very professional, the office staff is easy to talk to on the phone and does a great job relaying any concerns or questions I had to the owner and the people doing the service. Like I said, the previous people that worked on our house probably would have just told me the pan was broken and told me to "deal with it" until a new part came in, in about a week. MP Energy is committed to finding a solution and doing what they can to make sure we weren't without AC for a long period of time. I would suggest them to any of my neighbors or friends who would be looking for a Air Conditioning contractor.

Although it was not an emergency, they came in 2 days at my convenience (early morning, although they were about a half-hour late). The technician spent about an hour thoroughly testing and cleaning the programmable thermostat, furnace and all tubes and wiring and assured me that although it was getting old (about 20 years) nothing needed to be replaced and that it should continue to operate properly for years to come. I appreciate their honesty in not trying to sell us a new ignitor or other parts (which I had assumed needed replacement) and their $95 charge seems quite reasonable considering the time spent and distance travelled to reach us. Their office staff was very pleasant in the phone. I'm very pleased and certainly will call them again.

They asked us if we wanted to replace both fuses, and we did. They came out the same day that we called them and replaced the fuses on our heating unit. They made some pretty significant differences. They just had to make some small tweaks, nothing major or drastic. We got the same technician both times and he was phenomenal on both occasions. It was a great experience. There was a time when we woke up in the morning and there was no heating. They were out here by the afternoon to fix it. The nice thing about them is that if they are running late they would give us the approximate timeline when they would be here. They give us a lot of calls, so we never lose track of where they are throughout the day. They are very accommodating and just great.

It sounds odd to say, but having MP Energy replace our heat pump was an enjoyable and rewarding experience, a real eye-opener. Marlon P. doesn't just install hardware; he has several related degrees and has taught HVAC at a tech school. Unlike almost all other HVAC guys, Marlon thoroughly understands the physics behind heating/cooling/air circulation and can explain it all in the context of analyzing your system. He understands that comfort, not hardware, is the ultimate goal. He knows how air moves and treats the HVAC system as an entire system, in which all components must be balanced. I greatly appreciated this because I wanted to thoroughly understand how heat pump systems work so I could tweak it to conserve energy. Marlon seemed to actually enjoy discussing all the options, pros and cons. He was very creative in helping me figure out the optimal solutions -- maximizing comfort while minimizing cost -- rather than the most expensive ones. He was the only person I've spoken with who thoroughly understood the 2-stage Infinity control systems. His installers were friendly, polite and responsive to every request. He cheerfully took care of all the little small items (e.g. duct sealing) that I asked him to do, and I greatly valued that he, the owner, was there at the beginning and the end. His handyman, who did the finishing at the end, was equally amazing and said Marlon never pressures him to do a "rush job," but gives him leeway to do a quality job he can be proud of. Marlon's wife, Lori, does the scheduling and is similarly patient and helpful. Finally, his price was very fair; the same or lower than other estimates, and especially reasonable for the "add ons" and last minute extras. I have to say, I look forward to replacing our other heat pump some day!

Incredible service, absolutely unsurpassed knowledge of systems and accountability. From estimate to replace my A/C and Heat pump to the installation and cleaning up - MP energy was super!

I think it went well. The owner arrived on time for the estimate, and seemed to know his business. His staff then showed up on time, and did the work on schedule. The owner also came by about one week after installation to check on their work and point out a few features. On the first hot day after the installation (about 1 week after that), we discovered that the AC was not working, and they came that same day to fix the problem. In short, so far we are pleased with their work, but perhaps some problems are not yet apparent.

It's 6 months later and I'm still amazed at how awesome they were. Ours is a VERY long story but, short version is: we had 5 or 6 companies tell us that the work we needed was impossible or prohibitively expensive and we wouldn't be able to get central air and heat into our house. One company even came out to do the work and left when they discovered it was too hard. MP Energy came to the house, said they could do the work, and quoted us 10% of the cost of every other estimate (literally one-tenth of the price!). I was skeptical, of course. The job involved 3 guys on their backs under our house with 3-6 inches of clearance for 4 days to remove and replace all of our ducts. Then, in one day, they removed our old heater, air-conditioner, and compressor from a small dry-walled space and replaced everything with top of the line new equipment. With minimal dry-wall cutting and NO mess at all. Everything was done perfectly and I'm still so amazed and grateful.

They were very creative in coming up with solutions.There were very few holes to plug up. The MP stands for Marlon Pujol.

They were very professional. They first tried to salvage our old boiler, they were the only company who was able to do that but they still recommended a replacement which I had them do in the long run. Their prices were comparable and the service was great.
