Miranda & JSC Renovations

Mr. Miranda showed up at the appointed time. He was pleasant and professional. Eight days later, I called to ask him to send the estimate. He said he would send it in a day or two. I sent an e-mail reminder five days later. Still no estimate. Called yesterday. Mailbox full. He was highly recommended by a neighbor who has had extensive interaction with him over the years. I obviously overestimated his level of professionalism. If he didn't want the job, all he had to do was say so rather than forcing me to chase him down to get an estimate. Ours is not a small job, but not huge, either. I get that a contractor can cherry pick the jobs when times are good, but getting a bad reputation won't help him when the economy cools down again and work is harder to find.
