Description of Work: My elderly mom's gas hot water heater died. This was an emergency situation. I called several companies & Michael J. Thomas Plumbing was the ONLY one who acted as though they even cared about our issue (my mom is 91 yo). The tech I dealt with (I think his name was Kevin or Keith? can't remember) was AMAZING! He calmed me down and said he would get to my mom's that SAME day. My husband met with him over at my mom's house and they got the water heater installed the very next day (we had called late afternoon & they needed time to purchase the heater). The house is very old and the water heater plumbing needed to be brought up to code, as well as a few other issues. The owner ended up coming out also, to fix those issues, at a later date. Considering that this was an emergency issue, the price was very fair -- everyone else quoted us about the same price (actually, the other companies didn't even include the extra work for the bringing plumbing up to code, so their prices would have been a bit higher), and they weren't even going to come out that same day! So, all in all, I think Michael J. Thomas Plumbing did a stellarjob. The realized how critical it was to get an elderly person's water heater issues fixed and they acted quickly. We were very satisifed with the work they did, and especially thankful that they responded with a sense of urgency. Excellent.
