It was fabulous. Mark came in and planned the whole new system. He listen to our financial limitation and came with excellent plans. He's willing to listen to my changes and we used him ever since to manage the trees and plants that he put in. It's been at least 10 years now.

They were incredibly professional and friendly. They really understood on what we want in the style for the renovation, they always gives me a heads up on whats going on, they gave suggestions, the crew is amazing they were the nicest people, really thoughtful, they've been the same crew all these years and they give extra touches. They are really creative on the designs and flexible in tight spaces.

I contracted Mark for the landscaping in November of 2015. He took out old azaleas and kept them over the winter to replant in the spring of 2016. During spring 2016, he replanted the azaleas and planted a variety of deer-resistant plants. He selected plants so that there was at least one or two blooming plants throughout the year. One oakleaf hydrangia died, and he replaced it. He also put in a new walkway from the drive way to the front door. The curve and design was so nice, neighbors duplicated it. I was so happy with the design, I asked him to return to lay flagstone from the front yard to the backyard. He was very thoughtful in his design and approach to this job, making sure there was a smooth transition from front to the back patio. It was more than I expected.

I'd give them A's across the board. I like them very much. They're extremely responsive. Mark is actively involved with this company. He is very knowledgeable and has lots of ideas that he will share. They're all exceptional.

He came on time, but the main solution was both expensive and ungainly (involving expanding the driveway by a couple of feet in one direction at the bottom and different direction on the top) and cost of replacing entire driveway was prohibitively expensive. We were hoping for a more creative, financially accessible solution.

Mark is a great facilitator and listener, observant and thoughtful. As he promised, he was able to scale his suggestions to the price and time range I indicated. In addition to advising me about overall landscape design, he gave me advice about exterior improvements to my home to improve lighting, curb appeal, drainage, and safety. Mark's insights into path-making and redesign of circulation are especially insightful and helpful. He helped me see the possibilities for my home's landscape.

The entire project took several months. I would not recommend using Willcher if someone is expecting constant activity during the project. However, the pace of the project suited my schedule and I am pleased with the results.

Mark and his crew were very responsive. They were able to start ahead of schedule. After a consultation, Mark came back with a proposal and recommendations for a partial redesign and plant selections. After we discussed it and made some minor changes, his crew did the work quickly and correctly. The work is guaranteed for a year which is important because plantings don't always survive. We are very satisfied with the work and would recommend him wholeheartedly.

He was very nice and although I have a large patio his price is absolutely at the very top of all my estimates.

Overall the experience was fine. Although we had an expectation to get a little more proactive ideas on what we could do with our landscape beyond just the basic stuff. Potentially even a plan with a written estimate, but based on the suggestions and probably our level of interest in the ideas that did not happen. For what we paid for, I can have any reputable contractor come out and do this for free. That is perhaps our biggest disappointment.

After a small tornado took down several very large trees and the debris including damaged shrubs was removed, we were left with a torn up back yard rutted with machine tracks and devoid of many of the plants that previously had filled it. Mark Willcher assessed what it would take to restore the ground before new plants were placed. His crew worked for days clearing and grading the yard. They filled giant holes where root balls had been removed. Gradually a usable yard emerged. Together with Mark we designed a new sunny space where a woodland had previously existed. Part of the design was to add a small flagstone patio in a grove of new dogwoods. Completed, the patio looks like a circle of flower petals and has become a focal point. Mark added several other small ornamental trees, a grass ?path? to wind through the new garden, and a crushed gravel path. Ground leaves were spread over a large area to add nutrients to the soil while all new plants were mulched. His crew, eager to please us, sought our opinion and approval on many aspects along the way. At the end of each day, the whole site was tidied up, debris removed, and the sidewalk near their truck cleaned. Mark Willcher & Co. will be returning this spring to start planting shrubs. We expect our garden recovery to take several years but we?re optimistic and know we?ve chosen a first class company to implement our ideas.

We have used Mark Willcher & Co. for about 15 years. Mark is first rate. His knowledge of what will and won't work is fantastic. He listens to what you want and then makes suggestions accordingly. I have not comparison shopped because we have been so satisfied, so I cannot compare his pricing with others, but I feel like it is competitive. His teams work clean and do what they are supposed to do. We walk the property with him at least once a year to plan. It has been a great partnership.

We spent about $10000 on the last project he did for us. We have worked with Mark for years and we have been very happy with the results. He is has got a lot of good ideas and he can be very responsive and if we tell him what our budget is and what we want to accomplish, he is very good at coming up with what fits the bill. His clean is good. A lot of times it takes him longer to get around to a project than he would like. He is a one man operation and he outsources his labor.

They are very professional. Mark consults with the homeowner and provides an estimate for specific jobs. For the annual spring and fall .
