I never write reviews as I am a single mom of twins and don't have time. I will never hire this company again. The guy half *** power washed the porch and left paint chips on the ceilings and walls never bothering to wipe them down. I bought the paint and he came back the next day later to repaint and lied about the time it took to paint. I asked him why he didn't clean the gutters and he said he did and I showed him the full gutters. He said "oh I only did the front."...I just looked at him puzzled he said he would be back the next day. The next day no one showed up so I had to call the owner who said his truck broke down so he came back 2 days later to again half *** clean the gutters. He left one basement porch not painted at this point I had had enough and said I would do it myself. The company gave me an estimate which I agreed on and later charged me $120 more. I was so "over" my whole experience I just paid to get them out of my life.

It was good. It felt like it was done but it wasn't above and beyond. It was done and it was fixed. There was a problem with our stones in the back of the house so they fixed it but it didn't look fantastic. Pricing was pretty good.

Work was excellent; I was extremely pleased. They took their time to make sure that gutters were thoroughly cleaned. Gutter cleaning was by hand to protect my roof tiles; this is important since my house is almost 80 years old! They were as careful with the downspouts thoroughly running water to perfect work. Workers were polite and friendly. Management was professional and receptive to my needs and schedule. Price was excellent. I have used this company for almost two years with the same successful results. I intend to continue working with them. I trust them!

MA Cleaning and Landscape Design did a fabulous job in power washing my back patio. The thorough cleaning brought out all the lovely natural tones of the slate, which now looks gorgeous and sparkling clean. They came to do the job promptly and on schedule, and their staff was courteous and professional. I highly recommend them and will definitely use their services again.

They were absolutely perfect! They cleared the area and pulled all the overgrown weeds, Trimmed back the vines that covered the area, traced and pulled the roots of the invasive plants. They worked, and did NOT lounge. They left the property in great shape. They were a terrific crew.

The crew was on time, very polite, removed all debris from the area and were helpful as they offered some guidance on certain areas in the garden.

They finished all the weeding, but did not have time to do the trimming.

From beginning to finish this was a great experience. Claudia from the scheduling team did a great job setting up a convenient appointment and explaining optional extra costs - like hauling, which we took them up on. There were no surprises because the deal we purchased was clear that hauling would be extra. Juan and Omar showed up early and got right to work. We walked through the yard with a list of things we were hoping to have them address and they did it all! Our yard is on about .8 acres and had overgrown shrubs and beds throughout. They were happy to listen to what we were asking for and we walked through the yard afterwards in awe of how much they got done in the 8 total hours (2 men, 4 hours). They were great about asking us to check their work when they were done. Juan and Omar were very professional and worked the entire time - and while my husband does speak Spanish I would like to compliment Juan on his excellent English - he could easily communicate in both languages. Juan was also quite familiar with the types of plants in the yard and the best way to address them. We will use this company again and ask for these guys - they were really terrific! Thank you!

Excellent! I purchased a deal for 8 hours of work. The company followed up with by email and I called to schedule service within the week. The workers showed up exactly on time. The manager (sorry, I didn't get his name) went over everything that needed to be done and made several great suggestions. Not only did they get rid of all the weeds from the lawn and the garden, they removed a tree stump, swept off my deck, transplanted a large area of liriope, mowed and edged the lawn, pruned some shrubs and trees, and generally cleaned up the entire yard.

I purchased a special deal for $299.00. A team of three young men arrived promptly and did an excellent job. Pleasant, courteous and good workers. Would hire again.

MA did an excellent job on our yard and were very thorough. The finished the work I had asked them to complete about an hour early and asked me if they could continue weeding around our pond. The staff were friendly and courteous. The only snafu was that they were supposed to arrive at 8am, but because their scheduling employee quit, the time slot had been lost. They were very apologetic and got the guys out there just a few hours later to complete the job.

It went very well. They arrived early and planted everything perfectly. Cleaned the yard quickly and effeciently. They even put together and installed some ornamental lighting. Pleasant experience.

It was fine, except for the removal. They did inform me that they would remove the debris for a fee or I could provide plastic bags and they would leave it for trash pick-up. For this type of debris the city and county will not pick-up in plastic bags. So I had to fine other containers so it can be removed. I think that for the price they should have removed the debris since they were will to bag it. Also, since they were local they should have informed me that the city and county would not pick-up plastic bags with this type of debris. Because of everybody going green you have to use cans or paper bags.

I did not receive any notification on the approximate time of arrival. I took the dog out and saw that they had started working after returning to my house. Jose, their supervisor, indicated that the team of three had started at 8:20 am, about 20 minutes before I came back home. Jose spoke some English, and his two companions hardly any English. He would say "yes" to instructions which it turned out he did not understand. I did not stay continuously near the MA Landscape team but went outside every 15-20 minutes. Jose indicated that the team would stay until 11am, which covered the 8 man hour total. The team was polite, but unresponsive when towards the end of their work I pointed to a damaged fence. The rotor trimmer used for trimming grass had been used too close to a redwood fence and had torn the wood with deep grooves. Jose did not bulge. I told him I was not after money, but at least the worker could have told me that he had accidentally damaged the fence. Still Jose did not bulge. Later around 1:30pm I texted the office with a picture of the damaged fence. Around 5pm I received a picture of my fence (taken after 4pm while I was away--this was evidenced by the electronic signature on the picture they sent me), with a confused message disputing that MA Landscape workers did damage the fence. I was shocked that the picture had been taken after the team had left and surmised that they had come back after I posted a complaint. Initially they argued that my dog had done the damage (the grooves are nearly horizontal), then that the grooves were too high to result from trimming the lower liriopes. I argued consistently that the worker who was holding the trimmer was walking about the garden without stopping the trimmer between the areas he was working on and hit the fence when he approached it too quickly. I wanted an apology. I got a bunch of lousy explanations why my complaint was not serious. The fence was not damaged before the team came and I wanted an apology. 10 days after the events, I finally got the owner-manager on the phone and expressed my frustration at her team. I was also irritated by the picture, suggesting that the team came to the house, crossing my property, to take pictures to exonerate their responsibility. On that day (about 10 days after the events) I finally got an apology from the owner-manager. I told her I will never recruit MA Landscape again, and they need to train their staff to properly communicate with homeowners. I regrettably have to award them an F for this poor behavior.

The clean-up was excellent, and the crew was courteous and efficient. The owner even stopped by to see how it was going. Our yard looks fantastic. The only thing dragging down the grade is their poor communication. When they first got in touch with me (by email), I sent them a detailed email with everything I wanted them to do and various other pieces of information, including workable dates. Then, in a series of exchanges, they asked me all the questions over again, delaying enough that two of the three dates I had offered had come and gone. When we did finalize a day, they never told me when the crew would arrive, so I was a bit surprised when the doorbell rang at 7:30am. But again, once they finally got started, they were fantastic. I recommend calling the office instead of communicating by email, which I should have done in the first place.

I left them detailed instructions of what they were to do and I offered to be at the house during the time that they were working so I could answer any questions and provide further direction. In preparing for the appointment I spoke with the office several times to coordinate and explain what I was looking for. Bottom line is that I am an active, physically fit person that has taken 100% care of my lawn and landscaping for the 10 years that I have lived at this house. My objective was to use "professional landscapers" to perform functions that I needed additional expertise and manpower to do well. I didn't need to pay $400 to have a "professional landscaper" come to my house to simply spread mulch--I got that covered myself. Further, they did not work the full complement of time. They had a crew of 4 and they ONLY able to spread mulch in my front yard over the so called span of 2 hrs. They called me at 8am asking my nanny what they were supposed to be doing and then after I left work to come back to observe what they had done at about 9:50, they were actually packing up to leave. Thus they didn't start at 8am nor did they work to 10am and they hadn't even looked at the backyard. On top of all of that, the quality of their work was ridiculously shoddy. The edging of the flower beds was barely visible without a close inspection. They simply heaped mulch at the tree bases with no forming of the mounds. There was mulch debris left on my sidewalk and driveways. And when I asked the crew who was the "crew leader", they miraculously couldn't comprehend English and could only express that there wasn't a crew leader on site. What was clear to me is that they took absolutely no ownership of a job being done well--they seemed more motivated to say that they showed up, stayed 2 hours and upon expiration of the 8am to 10am time block--they were leaving. I took pictures of the work that they had done when I arrived right before 10am. Beyond the sloppiness, I am extremely disappointed that a 4 man crew only managed to do a poor job of edging half of the flower beds that I originally requested and sling some mulch around.

The only glitch is that I had asked for them to come in the afternoon and the scheduler said she could not promise that but that she would call me ahead of time to let me know. I did not receive a call; the men just showed up at 8:00 one morning.

We were so pleased! The guys arrived as anticipated, and put in several hours of work on the front and back yard, pulling weeds, pruning shrubs, and raking LOTS of leaves. Easily, it would have taken our family a whole weekend to do what the two guys did in three hours. We were so impressed that we are seeking their help again with reseeding and planting!

They were terrific. Very pleasant and professional, and the work looked great.I would definitely use them again, and recommend them to others.

At the risk of being over the top, I think this might be the best professional services I evr got. MA Cleaning returned my calls immediately, gave me a window of arrival, and were at my house at the very first minute of the window (8:00 a.m.); the two men were not only efficient and hard working, but they were professional and courteous. I HIGHLY recommend them. Thank you.

I received an estimate promptly and service was provided within the week. My lawn was a mess & I came home to a beautifully treated lawn.

Arrived within time I was expecting for the estimate. Work was completed within the week (I didn't need to be home for the actual yard clean up). My only complaint is that I bought the $600 for 8 hours package and a few days later there was another deal up for $300 for 8 hours from the same company. However I think the previous deal was quite fair for the work, so just bad timing on my part and I wish their deals were consistent within such a close period of time to avoid buyers remorse! Really responsive and easy to work with though, so I would certainly use them again. Probably wouldn't purchase the mulch again....in retrospect I feel I could have done it myself for cheaper, but it does look great!
