The price was very good for this landscaping job. The only issue I had was the application of the mulch - a layer of plastic/paper to prevent the weeds from growing should have been applied but was not. So with all the rains the weeds grew like crazy.

The workers arrived on time, performed their tasks as requested and cleaned up after themselves. They were efficient and polite. I did have to proved my own ladder for them to access the roof/gutters.

Scheduling and comunication was not easy, however the job was well done.

They did a fabulous job clearing all of the leaves off the lawn and out of the garden beds!

Well, they did a large area of my lawn that needed it!

It went out very good. I was very happy. They were on time. I called them. They said we have some problem. They said, "We are going to let you know." Then, everything is okay. There was no problem.

Aeration and seeding occurred but the new grass didn't sprout. Probably my fault for not watering it though.

I bought an Angie's List coupon for unspecified yard work for eight hours, and I picked a date about two weeks later because we were going on vacation. And I proceeded to forget all about it. Randomly, I happened to be home the morning that I had picked, and I bumped into workers as they arrived around 8:30. I told the apparent leader of the crew that I wanted the front yard cleaned up and the hedges trimmed, and they set about it. The end result was very good. Although my yard is still ugly, it is at least tidy. My neighbors will have to be satisfied with that for now. I was worried about a possible language barrier, but it seems that it was mostly an issue of speaking English not understanding it. It also seemed like this crew was not permanently employed by the company, because trying to talk to the team leader about mulching led to me needing to call someone else to get anywhere on scheduling or price (which I never did). I am not thrilled about temporary laborers and wouldn't knowingly hire a company that used them, but I am also cheap and thus jumped at the coupon without even considering the fact that price cuts tend to be associated with other reductions. The quality of the work was fine, but next time I will try to remember to get someone on the phone first and verify that guys coming to poke around my house are employed by the company. Maybe that was the case here; I don't know. For the price, I tend to doubt it in retrospect. I though that the very low rate for eight hours of work (<$40/hour) was a way to get someone on my yard to up-sell me a bunch of tree trimming or a recurring maintenance package or something. But it wasn't. It was actually impossible to up-sell myself on mulching without looking up the company's number and calling it myself. So, I can only imagine that the five guys doing the work were not full-time employees. Lesson learned. In the end, I give the company straight "A" marks, because the quality of work was very good, the price was right and scheduling was painless. The rest of my musings are for fellow Listers debating whether they really want the *cheapest* yard work available on the internet.

This is the 2nd time we've used MA cleaning and landscaping. They have been punctual, professional and did a great job.

After purchasing my deal on Angie's List, I was contacted by the scheduler. She got me set up for an AM appointment. Due to a car issue, she called me and emailed me first thing in the morning to see if the appointment could be moved to the afternoon. If it would've helped for the rescheduling, she offered to come to my house to go over the scope of the work in the morning and to meet the team in the afternoon. I was there when they arrived and they got right to work after we discussed the needs. They worked hard for the whole time and got through more work than I expected. They were professional and courteous and very efficient. I would definitely hire them again!

I think they did a very good job, when I arrived home from work they where almost finished, I pointed out some weeds in rose beds, they thought they were flowers or such, immediately jump in the beds and pulled them out.

Paint was removed from porch fan blades and shutters and door stain was stripped off front door. Company says this is customer's responsibility not the service provider because sometimes the water power is too strong and will create damage. I was not told of this possibility before the work started and hadn't experienced that with other companies.

Company did not show up on the scheduled day and did not return phone calls asking why they had not shown up. Only heard back from them to reschedule when I asked for a refund. They did show up for the second appointment but was too late for us to reseed as planned.

They arrived on the day ahead of schedule and did not return to do the actual work. They emailed me to ask what work was needed after I ordered a deck power wash. Email did not identify who or what company was sending me an email so it seemed very a unprofessional way to communicate with a customer.

work was performed on the day it was scheduled. cleaned up paved areas afterwards. Company recommended seeding and fertilizing in the next few days.

Relatively smoothly. I got the Angie's deal for $299 for 4 hours of yard work with two people. We originally had scheduled a date and I had to reschedule due to work. There was no problem with the rescheduling. They asked if I wanted to provide trash bags for waste or use their truck to haul away the yard waste that required an extra fee. It took a few emails to get the cost of using the truck but boy am I glad I decided to pay the extra fee. I thought they would fill a quarter to maybe half the truck. The ENTIRE truck was filled with debris and yard waste. The workers went above and beyond my expectations in cleaning my yard. I could not have gotten that much done in two months of weekends. I truly thought they would get a good start in the yard clean up and I would finish it. But in four hours they completely cleaned up my yard, spread some mulch (that I didn't even ask for but they had some extra), and spread some grass seed (again did not ask for but they had some and were happy to spread it around). Phenomenal work. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them.

There was a bit of miscommunication with the office about the time they would arrive but when the 2 workers came, they were knowledgeable about the trees and shrubs and worked tirelessly without any breaks for the hours I had paid for (can't remember how long it was for). I honestly didn't recognize my yard (that's a good thing!) I paid extra for the hauling of the yard waste and was I glad I did! They filled the entire truck!

The men working were decent. I paid extra for extra services and was not pleased with the results. The office staff and schedules were what destroyed my experience they messed up with dates and times numerously! Total incompetence. This was my first Angie's list experience and I can't figure out how they got such good ratings! I am concerned about using your services in the future..
