Do NOT do business with J&P! They were willing to leave my infant daughter without heat for five days without communicating with us. When they did finally respond, they attempted to price gouge me by charging $725 for 45 minutes worth of work. When I called them to ask for a better price, especially in light of a five day delay, the owner, Chris’ response was essentially, “best I can do is $50, your trouble isn’t worth anymore to us.” When I insisted further that $675 was still not proportional to 45 minutes worth of work, Chris’ eventual response was, “fine, pay whatever you want but do us a favor and then lose our number.” So, in short, J&P is unprofessional, uncommunicative, and overpriced. GO ELSEWHERE.

installed new capacitor, new 240v contactor and compressor hard start kit w/potential relay. new Flue piping and chimney cap. 2.5 hour 162.50 total. Locating, purchasing and installation of new steel chimney cap/furnace & HWH 26 ga flue pipe and fittings....also performed light furnace cleaning and heating startup. 6.5 hours 392.00 total. Parts/MATs for AC repair including 30/5 dual capacitor, 240 v contactor, and comp hardstart kit w/potential relay 120.00 total. MATs used in installation of new flue piping to both furnace and HWH. New 12,8 stainless steel chimney cap 300 total. If you add up the total it comes to 974.00 but I was charged 1000 for the work performed. This was at our rental home where our property management company hired JP to do the service. I didn't call them. I recently had a very reputable local company in my residence to perform some AC work. I showed him the invoice that JP had provided and he pointed out a couple of things that made him go hmmm. This is a shady company that I will never use.

I would highly, highly recommend him. He is exceptional HVAC guy. He has incredible attention to detail. He was above and beyond the quote without charging anything extra and just to do the job right. The more he got into our HVAC problems the more he said it is messed up here and let me just fix it and it is easier to fix it. He redid all of the HVAC in the basement when I remodeled down there and he did a phenomenal job. I cannot stress that enough. He did economical job down there. He was always on time and he looked out for the property and us. He did a great job and kudos to him. I recommend him to everybody I talk to people having HVAC problems. We had to move things around and he did the moving of the stuff.

John was by far the most professional, honest and talented tradesman that I've ever worked with. He went above and beyond the original scope of work. I highly recommend John to all my friends and family.
