+ -1 moreJane is an excellent agent. We were first time home buyers and she helped us through the whole process. She was patient while we figured things out, ready to offer to helpful advice but not overbearing. Her careful attention to nurturing relationships with the selling agent and our mortgage agent was absolutely key to successfully buying our house. She knows the area well (our search focused on eastern Montgomery County), and is also fluent in the technical details of house buying. Having her helping us sincerely felt like having a wise friend there to assist us. I worry that this review will come across as too positive to sound real but I really can't imagine having had a better experience.
Description of Work: She acted as our buyer's agent to buy our first house which is in Silver Spring, MD.

+ -1 moreA member reports an excellent experience with Jane Wilber but seems a little chagrined by the $295 administrative fee charged by Jane's office (in addition to the usual agent's commission). My "take" is: Be grateful that you were told about the fee up-front! My mediocre real estate agent's office also charged a $295 administrative fee, which came out of my pocket, but I had no idea the fee was coming until I saw it buried in the masses of financial paperwork that I was given at the closing.

+ -1 moreShe was great, going above and beyond the call of duty on multiple occasions, coming back from vacation to deal with emergencies, and always responding to our questions. As long as she's working, whenever we need Realtor services, we're calling her.
Description of Work: Jane Wilber was our real estate agent through a very difficult home search. She was absolutely wonderful - making sure to get a sense of our needs, being tough as nails with others when necessary, and taking care of us when the going got beyond tough. We cannot say enough good things about her and would recommend her to absolutely anyone buying or selling a home. Although we were surprised about ReMax's fee of $295 at first, it ended up being well used for us as we utilized Jane's whole office at one time or another. However, as some folks might balk at paying anything on top of the commission from the sale, we wanted to point it out. But we did not at all mind paying the fee based on the amazing work she did for us.
