Honeywell Contracting LLC

Honeywell Contracting was fine. It took a very long time to schedule it because of the deal. It took 5 or 6 months even though we contacted him within the same day. I'm not sure if I will refer him to someone else, it was just an okay work. The pricing was fine.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. I had to really wait on them because they were so busy scheduling appointments because of the Big Deal. Even though my coupon expired they honored it. I wanted them to do more work but they did not call me back to schedule it. I would not call them responsive because they did not call me back, but they were professional.

The service went well. I wasn't really happy with the ceiling job, but they did the other things right. Their responsiveness was good.

I purchased a Big Deal that entailed 4 hours of work. They did one coat for two sides of the glass patio room but left saying they needed more paint. They have never returned and they did not honor the Deal.

Dry wall is fixed and the toilet paper holder is not loose anymore.

More extensive work was required and services were never consummated.

Mr. Honeywell's painters did a thorough, careful, efficient, and highly satisfactory job. His estimate for additional time required to do the job was right on target. Workers were very courteous and considerate.

The handymen were very professional. They arrived on time and were extremely agreeable and polite.

We had several small projects in the house. He was awesome! Him and a helper came out and did all the projects very quickly and they turned out wonderful. They were very friendly and cleaned up after themselves.

He was great. I felt like I got my coupons worth.

Contractor was responsive but had to come back to replace one piece of crown molding that did not fit properly. Otherwise thee quality of work was good and they worked efficiently and quickly.

My experience with them was good. They did a nice job. There was just one guy and he was competent.

Jim Honeywell and his crew did a superb job painting the interior of my house. They were punctual for the estimate and for the work, and did a beautiful job. They also went out of their way to protect the floors and furniture. In short, they were awesome and I would recommend them to anyone.

The job went well, they replaced a lot of little things like the ceiling fans, faucets, and light fixtures. They did a great job and their work was high quality. My only complaints is I still have a 30 minute credit with them that is extremely hard to schedule.

I left a message expressing my interest in a quote. Jim Honeywell returned my call promptly, within 30 minutes. I scheduled a time for Jim to come to the house the following day to give us an estimate for the job. The estimate was free. Jim showed for the appointment promptly at 9 a.m. sharp. I visited Jim's web site to see his list of services; to see samples of his other work; and to see his billing rates. This web site visit gave me extra confidence that I would be working about a professional who cared about his reputation. During the estimate meeting, Jim confirmed his rate with a 2 hour billing minimum and offered to match a competitors coupon offer though non was listed on his Angie's List page or company web site. The meeting lasted about 15 minutes. The following morning at 8 a.m. Jim and one employee showed promptly to our house to perform the task. They asked if they could enter the home via the garage to get to the bath and shower vs. the front door. It was a small gesture, but it showed respect for not wanting to possibly trace dirt into the main living areas of the house. The two rooms they were to work on were easily accessible via the garage entrance to the home. The three grab bars were installed in just under two hours time. They worked quietly and professionally. They did not need to borrow any tools from us! I would highly recommend Honeywell Contracting for Handyman work to all my neighbors in the Laurel, MD area. We intend to use them again for additional projects.

They were good and affordable; I thought they were priced well. Their quality was very good and their responsiveness was great.

The company' was prompt and efficient and the worked was skilled.

It's been too long for me to remember details but I remember liking the contractor himself and the quality of his work. I asked him to give me an estimate on bigger jobs like building a couple of closets. I still need to follow through on this, but Honeywell is definitely on the short list of who I anticipate hiring for future work such as that.

Overall it was solid. He brought in a helper. They were quick did a good job, and stayed just about on-target with the budget estimates. He's always punctual and easy to communicate with, very laid back. Scheduling is quite easy with him. Did a good job on prep and clean-up as well. Some fine details could have been improved like matching the paint on the interior door better, but I didn't specify that either. So far, solid job for the price, will use him again in the future.

The entire installation process took less than two days, then another two for finishing (sanding/painting/framing). The 2-man team arrived on time, worked continuously, efficiently, quickly. The finished job was perfect--and cost me less than a quarter of what I would have paid the original contractor. I intend to use Honeywell again--this time for kitchen and bath remodeling. One additional note: I submitted an equally favorable review of this company shortly after services. What happened to it?

Work done nicely and quickly

They did very good work in the kitchen over the course of a couple of weeks. I'm pleased with the results. The one negative - and the reason I marked I wouldn't use them again - is that excess grout was left sprayed out in my backyard, deck, and fence. I didn't think much of it at first, but quickly realized how challenging it is to remove. So a mixed experience overall, though the work in the kitchen was very well done.

I would go back to Honeywell again when there is another need for its service for regular deal instead of Angie List's Big Deal even though the price seems to be very attractive...

Two workers came to the house, one worked on the garage opener while the other worked on the ceiling fan. The workers worked quickly and provided good service. We found out at that time that the ceilng fan was had probably been defective from the store. The worker then took the fan down and advise that it may be best to return the fan back to the store it was purchased from. With a few more minutes to spear I asked if he could install some new dead bolt in my front door in which he did.
