I used an Angie's List special. He was very good and came with a helper. They did everything I asked and they were very efficient. I am sure I will be calling them back in the future and referring them to others.

Went very well. He put the electrical in place and even spent an extra hour on the job. this is because the fan we were trying to install ended up being defective. he was kind enough to take it back down and put it back in the box so we can return to store. and he offered to come install another fan once we purchase it. he did not charge me for the extra hour he spent trying to get the defective fan to work. i really appreciated that! We will def. be calling him to put up the new fan and to do other jobs as well.

Jim handled each task professionally. I am planning on using him again in the near future.

I originally contacted them back in August, but they said they were too busy and that I should call back in October. I sent several emails to him about coming out in October, but he never followed up with me. Finally I called him this past Tuesday or Wednesday and he agreed to come out this past Saturday to give me an estimate for the work. He said it would take 16 hours of work to paint to smaller bedrooms, and he would charge $50 and hour additional to the 4 hours I had purchased on the Big Deal. I thought for two small rooms this was quite excessive. He was not even going to do the work himself. He was going to hire someone else. I had another project I wanted him to look at, but I was so unhappy with my experience with him I did not even bring it up. I am also requesting a refund for my Big Deal purchase.

This was an Angie's List "Big Deal," and was an EXCELLENT deal. Really cheap price to have this work done. We have a ceiling back! The company owner was really nice and down-to-earth. He did not do the work. Another person did the work, and did a good job. My only beef, and it's a really minor one, is that after the work was finished, I turned on the ceiling fan in the dining room, and spackling bits flew everywhere. (They forgot to wipe down the blades before leaving the job site.) This is a VERY VERY SMALL thing though, when compared to the AWESOME price for 4 hours of work repairing my celiing. Thank you Honeywell!

I was not safisfied with the work. Did not feel that I received 4 hours of handy man services. Half of the items requested to be completed were left undone.

They were courteous, fast and generally clean and did a great job overall. The skylight and window look worlds better and I don't see the bad spots at all anymore. While they did the hard work sanding the window outside and generally tried to clean up well, I would have preferred they clean up a bit better -- there were some paint drips on the floor, on the trim and some dust I swept up at the end. Other than that though (and it's relatively minor), things went well.

We purchased the Angie's list deal from this company. Jim arrived at the stated date and time with a helper. He was very professional and made sure that he addressed every item on my list. His helper did an excellent job putting up dry wall around a light fixture and re-painting so that it looked exactly how I envisioned. Jim fixed a desk that had come apart by applying extra screws, then he hung a heavy piece of art for me centered correctly over our bed, and also marked where the studs were on an area that I needed. They cleaned up after themselves and were quick.

If you purchased the coupon that was offered by this company, you should request a refund immediately. I contacted Jim to schedule some work, and his response was that he had sold too many coupons and was no longer honoring them. I can understand this happening with a Big Deal. What I cannot understand is not contacting Angies List and everyone who purchased a Big Deal immediately upon coming to this realization. This shows a complete lack of professionalism on Jim Honeywell's part. The first time I learned this should not have been when I went to schedule service. I missed out on other deals and generally feel cheated. Since it does not expire until January, I find it very difficult to believe that Jim is actually booked solid through January 12th. I think he just didn't want to honor mine because my job was not going to go far beyond the four hours and I was admittedly indecisive as to what I wanted to use it for. However, if he is rejecting all outstanding Big Deals, plenty of other people are out there who have not yet attempted to use theirs are also in for a nasty surprise. If he honors your coupon after this date, I would be interested in that information because that would prove that he is picking and choosing whose coupon to honor. I had a very bad experience with Jim. I am sure he does good work, but he handled this situation extremely poorly and exhibited very little professionalism. I would have trouble doing business with a company run that way.

It was a really good deal. It was $135, but it was one of the coupon deals that Angie’s List had. It would have been a better experience if I had been here. I had to be at work so I had left my husband at home to supervise. My husband is not a very good supervisor. He showed them what they had to do and then he left. They used the wrong color paint in one of the rooms and my husband had to come in after and fix that. I had asked them to paint the entire place, but they did the bottom half and not the top half. I felt that they were very responsive and the work that they did do was very good. I think that with a little better supervision, they would have done a better job. I’m assuming that my husband would have just dumped the cans of paint on them. They had to repaint some of it. If he had got in and said, this can goes in this room and things like that, it would have been good. It wouldn’t be fair for me to issue any kind of negative report in this circumstance. They were very responsive and they were concerned about showing up on time and leaving the house neat. I didn’t have to come home and clean any mess. There were just a couple of glitches that would attribute to communication. I would use them again in the future if their price is right.

We had not planned to have Jim remove our old patio door and install a new one, but we had taken some damage from the hurricane that had passed through and needed to replace the old one. He was flexible and able to adjust on the spot to run to Home Depot with me to grab the necessary supplies. The rest of the work was fantastic.

He was great. He came early and left thing clean and neat.

Jim was very responsive from the beginning. He gave me the list of items to buy. He called the day before the appointment and confirmed. I was pleasantly surprised that he came early. Install needed one more item and he offered to go get himself from home depot without charging me for that time. I was more pleasantly surprised with that kind of consideration. Work was done to the utmost satisfaction. Will definitely hire again.

I had an excellent experience in hiring Honeywell Contracting for my handyman work. Having never hired a handyman before, I was a bit concerned about all the details, and Jim was very responsive via email, answering my many questions. He fit me in on a day when I know he already had a very full schedule to accommodate my needs, arrived on time (the early end of his estimated window) along with an assistant, and did a fantastic job. He was easy to communicate with, and very friendly and professional. I will absolutely call Jim again when I have another need. I couldn't be more pleased!

Was a pleasure to work with Jim Honeywell. His work was excellent, was done thoroughly and quickly. Cleaned up totally. Very polite to deal with. I am hiring him again in the next few weeks.

Great experience. Worked on our list with us for 3 hours straight and checked off a number of items we needed fixed.

Overally excellent experience. Mr. Honeywell was on time, responsive and did what was asked, in fact more as he covered up a few things I hadn't thought about before (plastering.) He worked quickly, deligently, and cleaned up after himself, and the quality of the work was what I was hoping for. Good experience and I would definitely use Mr. Honeywell's services in the future.

Did a thorough job on all tasks. Very clean and easy to contact for scheduling. Very pleasant to work with. Will be using again in the future.

I think it turned out beautiful. He was easy to get in contact with at all times and kept us informed of all necessary purchases. Very clean too.
