They came out on time. Did a lot of work very fast. I don't remember it being particularly expensive.Quality was very good. They were responsive.

I thought it was a fair price. They did a good job. I thought were very responsive, very good. I wasn't home when they trimmed the tree I was on vacation. I came home, and I saw I was nicely trimmed.

They got done in a couple of hours what would have taken me a month. It was fine, the project was pretty straight forward. I kind of know what I want done. Usually, I do it myself but, when I have health issues; I basically delegate it. I have very specific ideas on how I want things done. I tell them how to edge it, how much mulch to put down so there won't be any misunderstanding between the customer and the contractor as to what they're suppose to do. I'm usually am here, talking to the supervisor and looking around. I'm just basically sure we're both happy.

They did well on the work, customer just was not happy because they did the work and cut that line and did not work on the site they told their customers.

Their price is fairly good. I would definitely use them again. They are very good at what they do. There was a crew, about 3 to 4 guys that came out. They were very, very nice. They were professional.

They do a great job. I think they are terrific. They can do anything. They did a great job and they went to the extra effort to try to find the specific plant that I wanted to use. It was completed in one day. They were very pleasant, quick & professional. The cleanup went very well. There was no complaints.

It went okay. We did not hire them again. We were genuinely happy with what they did. There were a few things that they did we didn't like. For instance our gutter downspouts, they disconnected some of those in order to mulch some areas near the house and they didn't reconnect those and left them laying by the house. I thought they should have reconnected those. It's not that they did a bad job, overall they did a good job. I wish the price was a little better. Compared to three other companies they came in the lowest.

It was fine, I don't any complaints about it. They were on time, they did a good job. They came out through the entire cutting season. I had no problems at all. They did what they were suppose to do.

I was told they did not service my area (Germantown/Boyds) although their website indicates they service MD, VA and DC.

The initial visit/estimator was very knowledgeable and helpful. Actual work was not completed in first visit but after a call, they returned and completed the job as originally agreed. Very responsive. Very pleased with final results.

Work went always very smoothly and never had any issues either with quality or punctuality of the crews. Cannot give a price because some items run on a yearly basis and others were a la carte.

The person we initially spoke with had no interest in following up. We contacted the office directly and asked for another employee. Unfortunately, they sent the same individual. The cost for the small (and I stress small) yard was expensive. In particular, I requested that the flowering plants not include a specific color. Of course, when one of the plants bloomed that unwanted color was prominently featured. It was hard to find a contractor because the job was small. I would recommend anyone else in a similar situation keep looking.

Although the price was higher than the two other bids we received, we initially felt good about working with Jeff (the consultant). After the work was through we noticed "weeds" growing in our yard among the new grass. We reached out to Jeff several times who indicated that it was not possible. We did our own research as we had a suspicion that the straw they laid down to avoid erosion had actually planted into our ground. After many weeks of trying to get a hold of Jeff via email and telephone calls he finally came to the house in mid-November to look at the problem. He confirmed that we actually had wheat growing throughout our entire yard! The only remedy Jeff offered at the time was to mow the grass. He did not offer to deal with the problem in anyway. Instead he indicated that mowing 'should' take care of it. It is now March and we still have wheat growing throughout our entire yard. We also have Daffodils that shouldn't be growing in our grass where they supposedly cleared, tilled and top soiled. We have attempted to reach out to Hometown via setting up an appointment last week. This appointment was canceled by Jeff an hour before he was supposed to arrive at our house. We have emailed pictures pointing out the areas of concern and have called several times. We have yet to hear back from Jeff or the owner John about what will be done to rectify the situation. We spent $10,000 with Hometown and are so disappointed, and frustrated with not only their work product but the very poor communication and customer service. We would never recommend them to anyone else. In fact, if the problem does not get fixed we are ready to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

We would definitely hire Hometown Landscape again. Our yard is now beautifully landscaped.

They did concrete walkway and landscaping. The work looks very good. However the Customer service was horrible First they did not start the job on time as scheduled Then they CUT my cable wire and did not even compensate me for it Then they tried to charge me an additional 150 dollars for a bush that was larger then my requested hydrangeas however the original quote was for 5 hydrangeas and they gave me two plus two smaller bushes which were WAY cheaper then the hydrangeas but wanted more money or they will be taking it out... HORRIBLE customer service and satisfaction... They lost a 5000 contract over 150 dollars as I was going to continue and have them do pavers! BEWARE

The entire experience was great. The consultant not only gave me a fair estimate but always help with other water issues dealing with our home.

Vendor never showed up for appointment and did not respond to my call after I left work early to meet with him.

They took care of me for about 8 years. They did a fine job on the paving. The prices were reasonable. They were responsive on times when I would need them to do service and I was happy with them.

We were very happy with the work. We had received three different estimates and their pricing was in the middle but we liked their design best. Communication was smooth and easy. They also performed some landscaping work however they did not communicate well with us on this and removed things they should not have.

They finished the original walkway and offered to add additional length in the back. They made sure we liked the stone that was used and initially brought several samples. They were fine to work with and worked with us on the design. They did a good job.

They’re fabulous. The estimate was very professional and the quality of the work was very good. Communication with the receptionist could have been better. The pricing was exctly as promised and very reasonable compared to other estimates we received. I've recommended them to others as well.

Their estimate was good and one of the lower bids we received. The work held up well in the time we were there.

While they do a good job, they charge on a monthly basis and their prices seem on the higher end. They do a very complete mowing job and are good with edging and clean-up. I have a dog and there have been times that the back yard was not completed because the dog was out and they could have knocked on our door to bring the dog in.

The quality was very good and scheduling was fine. Overall, I was pleased with the service.
