Overall they did a great job. I was at home during the project, which was a benefit, but nonetheless they were very professional and did excellent work.

Never heard back. Never sent the promised estimate. Did not return phone calls.

Over all the project went well. There were a some issues because some of the original plans and some changes that were made were not communicated to the men who were going to do the work. For example, the workers did not know that the original plan called for old carpeting to be removed from the stairs that led into the living room. All of these type of issues were corrected, but we did have to spend a lot of time making sure that all of our wishes were in the finished project. The final product is beautiful.

Went really well with finishing some unfinished space in the basement. They showed up when they were supposed to cleaned up each day and Charles was the lowest of three bids we received. They were also patient with me because the flooring company sent the wrong floor and it took some time to get the correct stuff. I always felt my questions were answered in a timely manner and answered well.

I not interested in dealing with this contractor. He appeared to be somewhat knowledgable about codes and construction , but failed to impress me.

They did what they said they were going to do in a timely manner. I was pleased with the outcome. I would reccommend them.

Charles Lee was great. He was pleasant, professional, responsive, on time, on budget. He explained things well to me, as there were many things I didn't previously know. His price was the best of the three that I got. I could reach him very easily by cell (calling or texting) and he was quick to respond. He helped solve problems. I am recommending that my daughter get a price from him to do some remodeling at her home.

He arrived promptly and seemed knowledgeable, but he was telling us where he'd move things and what we couldn't do before we'd really talked about the possibilities or given him much information about what we wanted. We also got the sense that he wasn't interested in working with us to find solutions within our initial budget, which we knew was too low but were using to see what could be accomplished before we expanded. He took cursory measurements and said he'd send us a quote, but I called him shortly afterward to tell him not to bother.

The provider did the estimate in mid-April and promised to send a quote. Since then I sent 4 polite emails reminding about the quote and left a couple polite voicemails asking the provider to call me back. Still haven't heard back...

We met with Charles and two other builders. One other builder had a very outgoing personality, sent us an estimate through email after seeing pictures of our house and yard, but was more expensive plus couldn't start as early as Charles. The other third builder's estimate was part of a local chain with architects and they forced us to sit those a sales presentation about our "values" with glossy brochures and was just really cheesy and then the architect quit before providing us with as estimate. Charles met us within a couple days of reaching out to him and we had only heard of him through Angie's List. He had a pleasant and friendly personality and we found him easy to work with. We forgot to add wiring for speakers until after the contract was made and he was OK putting that in as long as we bought the supplies. We also had some user errors with the GFI switches and fuse box after the porch was done and he sent the electrician out the next workday for us. Our porch was fairly large and our patio had to be dug up so the project took 3 weeks including no work days due to heavy rain. I am beyond happy with the quality of work. We decided against the skylights and were worried the house might be too dark. But the biggest surprise was the ceiling height he put in. It looks about 10 feet and the room feels so open because of it. We love it and would hire Charles and his crew again.

We had a finished basement with a very awkward layout and only one tiny bathroom that we wanted to expand and make more usable. To this end we: - Completely demolished the existing bath and rebuild it slightly larger - Added a whole new second bathroom, including the necessary water and wastewater hookups - Added a new kitchen - Re-designed three existing rooms into a larger living / dining room space and a nice sized bedroom with build in closets - Replaced existing carpet and vinyl with new wood and tile floors - Replaced existing drop-down ceilings with drywall - Added two egress windows in the bedrooms - Repainted throughout. Charles and his crew performed all of this work very diligently and thoroughly and our basement looks beautiful now. He made sure to point out all potential pitfalls regarding permits (e.g. installing the egress windows in the bedrooms) and generally gave us helpful advice on how to improve our lay-out. There were a few times where I wish communication would have been a little quicker and it lead to a couple of small misunderstandings, but overall he was better than other contractors I had used in the past and we as customers were not stuck with any of the resulting problems. He also made sure small issues that came up after the completion of the work were taken care off quickly and at no additional charge to us. Overall I would highly recommend using Charles and Home Run Remodelers for your contractor needs.

I was very impressed with Charles. He showed up early, reviewed our project thoroughly and provided recommendations for various areas of our project. Charles was very knowledgeable about local building codes. He provided us with a comprehensive quote in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, the project exceeded our budget so we didn't move forward. We would definitely consider Charles in the future.

We loves working with Charles. He is so knowledgeable in his field and always has good suggestions and advice (but never tries to impose anything, of course). His work is very clean and the work area is well isolated with nylon sheets to prevent the dust from going all over the house. He always makes sure to protect the areas where his team will be moving around. His workers are very professional and very pleasant to work with. We've been working with him for a while. He also renovated our living/dining room and our family room (complete make-over). I would highly recommend him. We plan on having our master bathroom re-done with him in the next couple of weeks.

I had an existing deck updated and reinforced. the cost was not the cheapest but the work was very good. design was substantial, build out was to code and new supports proved to create a hardy structure for the deck. My biggest concern was to match another deck that was built in 2009. Charles was able to make the rails, treads and balusters perfect match. except his teams handiwork was far superior to the original installers. We are quite pleased with the results. Yard disruption was minimal and the work site was left in near perfect condition.

We chose Home Run Remodelers as our contractor for a one-room home office addition to our home after soliciting several bids. Mr. Lee was the low bidder on our project, thanks in part to the approach he came up with for conserving most of our existing carport slab while constructing a foundation that would meet the requirements for support of a heated interior space. He gave us good advice on a number of our choices, but also worked with us when we suggested alternatives. As other reviewers have mentioned, we did have to initiate contact when we had questions, but he was responsive when we did so. Our one complaint is that he did take more time than we expected to order the flooring material we had selected. When he found that it would take several weeks to get, we made a different choice in order to keep the project moving, but this was a minor compromise. Despite several delays due to winter weather, he was able to complete the project from permitting to final inspection in under three months, and we are very happy with the results. All of his workers and subcontractors were efficient, hard-working, and respectful of our house and property.

Charles was great. Unlike some of the other contractors we met with, he was on time and provided all the details necessary to make a decision right on the spot. There was no beating around the bush or "I'll get back to you with a price" like we dealt with others. We got a fair price right away and he explained everything to us. His workers were professional and did a great job. We would definitely hire them again and would certainly consider them for larger jobs. Our job was particularly small for them, but unlike other top rated Angie's List contractors, he fit us in between their jobs rather than not responding or turning us down. All this was clear to us and fit our schedule perfectly. Other contractors need to understand this. I don't need your full schedule, but any level of transparency is a plus for the consumer. Keep up the good work guys.

No follow up contact was ever made by the company.

They did not respond to my second call.

Charles came out on a Tuesday to take measurements and seemed very nice and informative. He said he would email me an estimate by the end of the week. I didn't received the estimate so I called the follow Monday and left a message. Not hearing back, I tried again on Wednesday and again, didn't receive a return call or email. If you don't want to do my job, that's fine, but at least give me the professional courtesy or a returned phone call to say so. Very disappointed.

Very disappointing. Owner came by to discuss our deck project. We spent about an hour with him, and he had good ideas. He promised a proposal in three days. Then nothing. He said he'd get to it the next weekend. Nothing. Then we asked again, and he said he would get it to us in a few days. We never heard from him again. Maybe he just doesn't want to do projects for less than $10,000.

Gentleman came out to look and give an estimate. I asked for a written estimate, which he promised to send. Never got written estimate. I tried email and voicemail w/out response.

Mr. Lee was honest from the beginning, he told me he needed some time to arrive at a fair estimate and gave me a day to expect the estimate......HE KEPT HIS WORD I ended up not buying the property because I was outbid, BUT I WILL USE MR LEE IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE.
