Description of Work: The guys painted a bed room including walls and trim and also made patches to the dry wall where needed. The lines cut in the corners were perfect. They also painted the trim in a few other areas in my condo.

Description of Work: I left one review but I thought I would update. I had to call Martin back in after the paint dried because it was clear multiple brushes were used in 1 room and you could clearly see that. He came within a week and addressed this. However, we wanted hime to use a 12in knife to blend in the wall we took down and he did not. A few weeks later, blisters have now appeared in the paint moat likely due to moisture in the paint or not letting it thoroughly dry. We called him back to address this but he has not returned my call.

Description of Work: My deal was for 2 painters for 2 days and the small print does tell you that any time over that is extra. I met with Martin to show him exactly what I wanted/needed and we were able to come to a fair price for the job. The work I needed done was more than 2 days, but the ultimate deal he gave me was still a bargain. And he did great work! | |I had foam insulation blown into my walls, which involved punching holes in the walls every few feet. When the guys filled the holes, they did not bother to smooth them out, so the walls needed a lot of prep work done. I was a little nervous because I did not want to have the walls painted, only to still see the silver dollar sized holes every few feet. | |I was not disappointed. | |Martin did a great job, and paid very close attention to detail. You'd never know that the wall was previously lined with round indentations every few feet from ceiling to floor. I have already worked with him a second time -- he painted my porch. And this, too, involved a lot of prep work. But I am confident the investment I made in quality work will last. | |I highly recommend Herrara's Quality Painting.

Description of Work: Martin worked in our formal living room. We have plans to contract him in the near future to paint our kitchen.

Description of Work: Repaired drywall on ceilings in several bathrooms and the kitchen, and also painted these ceilings.

Description of Work: I have never contracted with a painter (Martin, the owner) as professional, considerate of my property (no paint on my furniture or carpet), and committed to finishing the job in a timely and outstanding manner! I never dreamed of walking into my guest room and being as excited and overwhelmed as I am today. Unfortunately, during my extensive illness and as a recuperating surprise, my husband painted the walls in our guest room a horrible dark green (that he thought was peaceful). And adding to injury, they also had large and small nails (ugh!) everywhere from me hanging pictures for posterity but damaging them. Thanks to Martin, I now know what to use instead of nails that won't leave holes in my walls. The ceiling was a mess from other contractors hands that entered the attic installing insulation. Martin and I laughed as he showed me all the nails he removed but did the necessary work to make sure the finished surface and product would be done professionally ("WOW" and "thank you" was all I could say). I really was embarrassed about the room. Other estimates to relieve me of this misfortune were far above my reach being on a fixed income, however; thank God for Angie's List and the miracle HOT DEALS. Being a member, I was able to contract Martin and am one happy senior citizen again!!!!! I highly recommend Herrera's Quality Painting if you need the following work done to your home: interior/exterior painting, drywall repairs, finisher, deck staining/sealing, caulking, trim moldings, or power washing. Description of Work: The owner, Martin Herrera, was hired to paint and prepare my apartment walls and baseboards for moving out. I had previously hired Martin last year to paint my kitchen a bright sunny yellow and he painted accent walls in the living room with a warm apricot color. Martin had previously installed custom shelving in my bathroom and hung vintage spice racks in the kitchen. Martin worked in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room, preparing and painting the walls, including fixing cracks and multiple nail holes.

Description of Work: Martin of Herrera's Quality Painting painted the main living room, hallway and bathroom of my condo using two different colors and two coats of paint. Approximately 400 square feet in total.
