I called a few places and got a high price but kept looking for folks that did "A" work and called Elegant Floors on Friday. They quoted me a great price and said they could come Monday. It was perfect weather that day and two gentlemen came on time, worked throughout the day, sanding and sealing three bedrooms floors. They look terrific and I plan to have them back to work on my stairs in another month. Kathy.

We hired Elegant Floor Services after reading reports about the company on Angie's List. Jaime and Lony (?) spent two days at our house on the job. On both days, they arrived exactly at the time they said they would. Although there was a little bit of a language barrier, they asked the questions they needed in order to do the job. First, they covered the areas not being worked on and a hanging lamp in the livingroom with plastic sheeting to protect them from the sawdust, that would be generated. Jaime even helped me remove storage containers from inside a closet, that I had forgotten all about. Then, Jaime did the repair work on the floors, while Lony operated the sanding machine. They collected about 6 large plastic bags with sawdust. Eventually, the floor was stained with the color of our choice and two coats of polyurethane were applied, and shoe molding was installed. When the job was done (earlier than expected), they carried away all the trash and debris. Excellent job!

The floors are gorgeous. In fact they look much better than the original floors installed when we purchased the home.

The estimator arrived on time. He seemed very knowledgeable and professional. Their price was a little higher than other estimates, but based on reviews and the estimator, we went with them. They started and completed the job on time. The floors look good, but they are AWFUL at communicating. They selected a stain and finish without asking me. Luckily, I liked it, but it was MUCH darker than the estimator and I discussed. They didn't communicate the status of the job at all (even though I requested this). We hadn't moved in, but were at the house in the evenings and didn't know when/if we could walk on the floors. The only indication that the job was done was when they charged my credit card. They initially installed the wrong type of shoe molding. I called and they sent someone the next day. Again, they never told me they were coming. It was just by chance that I was there. I'd recommend, but caution you that you will need to call frequently.

Did an excellent job. Crew arrived on time and worked hard, kept area clean, and the floors and countertops now look like new. There were a few minor problems and the crew returned the next week to correct them (at no extra cost).

They performed a quick and efficient job and I am very pleased. The floors look great and the work was done sooner then expected.

I am extremely pleased with how my floors turned out. They look brand new. The salesman came out to give us an estimate quickly, and at a time that was convenient for us. The job was scheduled quickly and again at our convenience. The men who finished the floors were hardworking, neat, and courteous. They never left a mess and didn't leave any dust behind when the job was done. I will use this company again when I have the rest of my floors refinished.

Initially I was very happy with the company and its work. I was told that the floors would only take a few days to install. However, two weeks later there was still work to be done. I was told that someone would call me in one week to follow up on some small issues that needed to be finished. No one called to follow-up with a visit and I was very disappointed with the way in which the situation was handled. On the other hand, I was extremely happy with the employees who worked on site - they were very professional and knowledgeable. I am highly disappointed with the managers, who refused to honor the ten percent off coupon listed on Angie's List. Overall, my experience with the company was not too bad, but also not great. If you do choose to deal with them, be aware that you will have to be on top of the company's management to get your job finished in a timely fashion.

They were very professional and thorough. I also had a second quote from another company. Elegant Floors was cheaper by over $2,000!

Cliff came out on Friday, provided the estimate and work began on Monday thereafter. Three days of work from start to finish. Cliff and Crew were excellent! Floors look brand new. I can't recommend Elegant Floors enough. We received another quote for the same works and it came in at $5700.

Cliff small met me with me for an estimate. He was very punctual and informative. The workers were very nice also punctual. They did a good job.

Terrific Company! The salesperson came right away and gave a free estimate. He was very helpful and informative. Two wonderful servicemen performed the work in two days using a dustless sander which was great. They also used water based non-toxic polyurethane. The floors are gorgeous! Everything was covered in plastic, there was barely any dust or fumes to speak of, they put everything back and cleaned up--A top notch job in every way! I will use them again.

Had difficulty in obtaining unusual item -- wood flour cement, to make filler out of sanding dust of exotic species, but tried to obtain and worked with me to use an alternate binder. Everyone was polite, communicated well, honest, and cared about their work. Floor looks awesome and the installers kept the surrounding areas clean and did a good job of cleaning the room they worked in. Except for leaving a pile of cigarette butts outside. Second day they were late -- told to expect them between 8:30 & 9, they called to say they'd be there by 10, and showed up at 10:30.

The work was performed on schedule, according to the estimate. The workers were pleasant, flexible, careful, hard working, knowledgeable. Work was performed in a professional manner. Dust was kept to a minimum, and pretty well cleaned up afterword. The floors look beautiful.

Job 1: Their sales representative was very professional along with the technicians who performed the work, although there was a lot of sanding and dust from the refinishing, they wrapped the rooms in plastic and cleaned thoroughly when done. I was impressed that they went as far as wrapping the air vents and smoke detectors before they started. I would recommend them highly. Our marble and hardwood floors look brand new again. Job 2: I spoke with four floor covering companies before choosing Elegant. Not only was Elegant Floors the lowest priced their installers were extremely well trained. My sales person was always available to answer my questions that came up along the way. The salesperson went as far as including flush mounted wood vents in lieu of the common metal vents that were there. I would highly recommend them.

Salesman responded promptly and went out of the way to meet my schedule.

THEY WORKED VERY HARD TO REALLY MAKE THE FLOOR LOOK GOOD. THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND FINISHED IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. THEY ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE FLOOR.
