Good work for a reasonable price. Easy scheduling with Don's wife (Pam). I don't hesitate to call when I have a plumbing issue. If he can't do it (as a small company, he doesn't always have the equipment needed for big jobs), he'll recommend someone who can.

Don has been our plumber for many years. We have used him over the years to install new faucets outside the house, install a new kitchen faucet, fix a kitchen faucet, unclog drains, and this time fix a leaking toilet. His work is always done right the first time. When the work is something that he isn't able to handle, he lets you know and gives you a recommendation. For example, he once recommended another plumber when we needed to have new gas piping installed and didn't charge us for the visit to assess the problem. He is also good at educating us about what caused a particular problem and gives us good information about how he fixed it and how to prevent similar problems in the future.

He came by once to inspect and order part, and then a second time a week or so later after he had obtained the part. He was on time both times, and personable. There has been no problem since. He shared with me the part number, in case I want to do the repair myself the next time.

We have been using him for a long time. I had a problem with the upstairs bathroom sink. The drain was blocked and there was a break inside the pipe that controls whether the thing is opened or closed. He had to go out and find a part he could use to replace it, which he did, and didn't charge me for it. One guy came out twice, once to assess the problem, and once to get the part that was needed. He left the area clean. It's working fine now.

His work is neat and precise. He has decades of experience, and his recommendations and workmanship show this. We often talk about "bedside manners" with doctors. We should also talk about bedside manners with repairs. It makes a difference to have a friendly conversation! This husband and wife team (she does the scheduling, he does the house calls) is top notch. I hope he never retires.

Don Coleman has been our plumber for almost 30 years. What I like about him most is that he fixes what needs to be fixed and doesn't recommend the most expensive thing you can do. His wife Pam is the contact person and she is professional and pleasant, Don is prompt, efficient and professional. This particular fix was for a leak in our ceiling where we had previously had pin hole leaks. The pattern of the leak was different so he checked the tub and found the faucets were leaking behind the wall. He replaced the insides of the faucets (I also asked him to replace the faucet handles). He has kept this old house going for all these years in the same consistent way.

They do very good work and are very reliable.

As indicated above, it went very well beginning with the phone call making the appointment.

My shower drain was clogged or was draining very, very, very slowly. I left a message at about 7:30 about the problem and my location. They called right after they were open and said they could come between 4 and 4:30. I asked that they call when they were on the way. At about 3:30 he called and asked if he could come in 15 min. I agreed. He arrived at 3:45, snaked the drain and was done by 4:00. No problems - he was very nice and my drain now drains.

I found him through Angie's List. He was not able to fix the problem on the first trip. He did not charge me for the second trip.

It was pleasant from the very first phone call. The receptionist/owner was nice, easy to work with and very knowledgable. I had a question about the price after the work was finished and she was accommodating. He did a great job! He was very efficient and pleasant. He was able to diagnose the problems with each area and fix it quickly.

He came when he said he would and he ran into some unexpected problems but he dealt with them professionally. He definitely knows what he is doing. They answer their phone and they let you know if they are going to be a little late. My experience is that they are very competent.

Don was on time and very professional. He replaced the Garbage Disposal and completed the job in 45 minutes.

We have been a customer of Coleman Plumbing for approximately 8 years. Don is what I would term an "old pro" in that he has a tremendous amount of knowledge and is extremely professional. He has done minor fixes for us as well as larger projects like a new water heater and a basement macerator pump. In every instance he has been very articulate about what needs to be done and why as well as the options that we have. He is always punctual, he works quickly and efficiently, and he leaves no trace that of his presence. On top of all that he is just a really nice guy who puts a smile on your face when you see him at the door. I recommend him without reservation.
