Circuit LLC

I selected the provider primarily based on the wonderful website (yes, as an Angie's member I should know better). The provider called ahead of time to tell me the technician was running late - I appreciated that. Once the tech arrived, I showed him the Bose sound system (multiple audio/video sources, hidden wiring and built-in speakers) and explained the issues I was having properly connecting the various Bose units and getting sound to play through the speakers. Also showed the TV I wanted mounted, and explained the challenges I was having connecting to the cable box. The technician was clearly overwhelmed by the Bose system and its set-up; he was obviously unfamiliar with it. I said very directly, "if you don't know what you're doing, tell me now. I will call Bose and seek assistance there." The technician said he was thinking and would figure it out. But at least 20 more minutes in, it was clear he wasn't going to get anything done - he was clearly as baffled as I was. The technician did assist with properly connecting one cable from my TV to the cable box. (I'm sure I would have figured it out eventually). I eventually convinced the technician to call it quits, but was charged $85 for a "consultation fee" (and a bad taste in my mouth.) If the website photos can be believed, the provider may indeed be great at mounting TVs and can connect basic sound/home theater systems. However, for anything more complicated, I would seek assistance elsewhere... and from a professional that's highly rated on Angie's List.
