Problem was resolved by just turning the fireplace on (very temperamental fireplace.) I guess it didn't need cleaning because he didn't clean it. So ultimately I ended up paying $149 for him to come out and hit the On switch. He was a great person and I have no doubt had I asked for anything more, he would have done it willingly and well. I just didn't think about it.

Provider showed up early in the service window, so I didn't have to spend a lot of time waiting. Spent less than 30 minutes cleaning and inspecting chimney and did not try to upsell me on other services. Very professional.

It went pretty well. They didn't charge more than the deal I purchased. There were a couple of ashes in my couch and on the ground. The price was pretty good.

Quick service with friendly technician who took the time to explain recommended repairs to my chimney and answer my questions. He was considerate to make sure the work area was well-covered and protected and asked where was best to plug in the wet-vac since all my electrical outlets were covered. Really pleasant experience that stands out from typical service calls with other companies.

Bryan came on time, performed the cleaned and inspection on a timely manner. Received his suggestions for further work.

Excellent. Angie deal and contractor contacted immediately. Scheduling was easy and service person was excellent. Fire place had not been used in several years and a complete inspection was performed. Tune up performed and fireplace looks like new. No hassles/ no up sale attempt. Great job.

They were great! First guy came and said my chimney was clean-saved my$150.00. Made an appt. to have a cap put on chimney due to wasp problem. They were prompt, called to let me know how they were running. Very professional.

They had to reschedule twice, but gave several days lead time. Workers arrived on time and very professional. Would recommend the company.

The company was prompt with communication. They were courteous and worked with my schedule. The technician was polite and very knowledgeable about the service and products. I will be using the company again to make needed updates to my chimney.

He was great, he helped me find a lot of issues that I wouldn't have known about otherwise. He came out on very short notice, and was very flexible and knowledgeable. The house purchase fell through, but I'm glad I was made aware of the issues with the chimney. He even offered to come out and do a chimney cleaning for me at another time since he was unable to do it this time around.

The tech call within the time for the appointment and stated they would be 30 minutes. They showed up on time. The did a quick inspection of the fire place, cleaned the glass, added some items to the area and turned on the fire place. Our fire place is 17 years old. The tech explained the workings of our unit and some pointers. Job completed!

Absolutely professional - prompt, courteous & friendly. Went the extra mile to leave house clean. Not an easy job in an old row house & they were great workers.

It was ok. I have a new fireplace which did not need much work.

This was a $99 big deal purchase. They came in here and cleaned for $100 and then recommended, like, $2,700 worth of repairs that in my estimation weren't necessary. My wife was here when they did it. $100 to get my chimney inspected and cleaned is a great deal. It also is a good way to get your foot in the door to get follow up business and in my estimation the expense of what he recommended was extreme. The service itself was great, but it was obvious to me that this guy makes his money by getting his foot in the door. My advice to others is to look around before I would go to that company.

It was okay. I did not use them though. I got a better deal from a friend. I hope they would have less cost.

It went great! Tim gave me life saving information. I had no clue that I had a carbon monoxide leak. So scary! Thanks again Tim!

There was no additional charge. They were saying, "What you need to do is to change the flue by getting it lined," which we didn't know. The county required that it be lined with a metal lining rather than just like it is. That's a $2000 service. We wanted to get a competitive price on that before we went ahead with that. They were nice.

This was an excellent professional experience. Punctual, knowledgable,courteous, friendly, efficient. I wish all companies operated this well.

Great! Brian was very professional and courteous. Brian cleaned the chimney and fireplace , more importantly, was very honest about the condition of the chimney. He also kept the working area clean during and after the job.

After reading the mixed reviews on this company, I decided to take a chance and give them a call anyway to see if they could address the issue I am having. I called after hours and left a message and was surprised to get a return call a few minutes later. I spoke with Bob Vatslav who was extremely friendly and helpful. I told him we needed our chimney checked to see if it had a wasp nest in it. He said his company could do that, we agreed on a price, and he suggested a date and time (12 noon to 3 pm) for them to do the work and I agreed. On the appointed day, my husband and I returned to our house at 11:30 am at which time my husband began working in the front yard. At 2 pm I called the company to see if they could give us an estimate on the technician's arrival. I was told that the technician had been to our home, knocked, found no one to be at home, stuck his business card in the front door, and left. I told the receptionist that we arrived home 1/2 an hour before the arrival window assigned to us and there was no card in the front door. Further inquiries on my part elicited the information that the technician had shown up at the house at about 11:15 am or so. Through diligent questioning on my part she also eventually determined that he had gone to the wrong house. At this point the receptionist offered to make another appointment for the following week. I was unwilling to do that and told her that I expected the company to send a technician to our house that day. She said that couldn't be done, no one was available, etc. etc. and offered a "professional discount" if I would remake the appointment for the following week. I said I would remake the appointment for the following day, but that I was not taking off from work to accommodate them after this screw up which was completely their own. I was again offered the following week. Since I no longer had any confidence in Chimney.com being able to do the job, I told her that we would not be making another appointment and that I would be writing a review on Angie's List. To her credit she maintained a polite and professional demeanor throughout our conversation even though she/the company was not able/willing to fix the problem. Not only did the tech show up BEFORE THE APPOINTED TIME, he showed up at the WRONG HOUSE, and no one at the company saw fit to CALL US to rectify the situation. A phone call would have elicited the fact that we were on our way back home and that the technician was at the wrong house.
