Description of Work: I read the other reviews about their response time, and I want to say they are not all wrong, but mine wasn't AS bad as some other experiences. Initially they responded in about 2 or 3 days, but then a week went by. Once we got booked it really was a no brainer. They came, they cleaned the chimney, they left the house clean, and what more can you ask for? I would use them again if they offer the service on Angie's Big Deal again next year. I would say that once all was said and done their overall score should be in the B+ to A- range.

Description of Work: Did a good job of explaining the work needed to repair chimney bricks and replace a flue. Worked as scheduled and requested a bill within the range we could afford. Came back a few months later when we found a pool of water in our fireplace after a rain. When it happened again after a few weeks, they offered to come back and spray a sealant around the chimney. Unfortunately, this could not be done because of the cold winter. With the warm spring finally arriving, I'm sure it will be fixed by them. We have been impressed by their knowledge and quality work.

Description of Work: They arrived on time and performed a cleaning and inspection of the fireplace. They noted cracks on two of the ceramic prefab tiles and quoted me 600 to replace them, which I feel is severely overpriced. Other than that the service went well.

It worked out pretty well.
Description of Work: We used the "Big Deal" that we purchased for the chimney cleaning services of Capitol Chimney Service. During the cleaning and inspection, it was noticed that there was damage inside so we contracted with them to do additional lining work.
