Description of Work: I called Capitol to come and inspect the chimney in our recently purchased home. While the initial contact was a little slow (internal adjustments to staff), the crew that came to my home were professional, informative and great to work with. They did not perform actual repairs but the inspection went well and they information they provided will help in getting our old house's smoke stack working great again!

Description of Work: Provider offered a coupon for chimney cleaning; however, they did not have any available appointments for over a month!! Fireplace season is only around 4 months, so waiting a month for a cleaning wasn't acceptable. Provider should not offer coupons for services if they don't have the availability to schedule it.

Description of Work: Purchased their Big Deal for Chimney cleaning and inspection. The workers for Capitol Chimney showed for appointment. After taking a look at our chimney they determined it was already cleaned. They gave some good info and pointers on what to look out for in the future.

Description of Work: Capitol Chimney did visual inspection from ground and determined that I needed something else (chimney cover is rusting). However, when I asked for estimate for new chimney cover, I was told I would be charged a $75 inspection fee. I decided I did not want to pay inspection fee when most service providers do free estimates. I chose someone else to do the work, and this was lost business opportunity for Capitol Chimney.

Description of Work: they installed stainless steel liners. rebuilt some of the bricks on top of chimney. they would not pull permits.people get permits so when the work is done you have a inspection to make sure the work is done correctly and safely just my 2 cents
