Description of Work: We just moved into our home a year ago and the fireplace chimney was one part of the home that we hadn't had checked out, so we purchased a coupon on Angie's List for a cleaning. It turned out that the chimney was already clean; however, we had had an issue with smoke backing into the room when we attempted to light a fire. The technician took a lot of time with us, telling us about the peculiarities of a metal chimney (we'd only ever had masonry before) and the proper way of priming the chimney prior to starting a fire. So although he didn't actually perform a "service", we definitely got our money's worth in time and information. When it IS time for a cleaning, we would definitely use Capitol again!

Description of Work: They were really quite busy and not thorough. The deal included some minor mortar repair which I wanted completed before my new roof was installed. Since they cleaned the chimney from the inside, they could not give an estimate. They did not clean the ashtray and said that was not included. they made reasonable priced suggestions.
