The crew showed up on time, kept me informed of progress, and cleaned up when finished.

I told them in advance that we had a vacated bird's nest which would need to be removed and they told me that since it was vacated there would be no additional charge. The arrival window was between noon and 4pm. I always expect that it will be on the later end of these windows; that's just how it always seems to be. They arrived a little after 3pm and they called about 40 min prior to arrival. Roger showed up with an assistant. They used a drop cloth to keep the area clean and were in and out within about 30 minutes. Roger even cleaned a portion of my front gutter, for free. Nice touch. I'm very satisfied with the service they provided and they will be hearing from me again the next time we're in need.

The whole process went extremely well. The crew was on time and was able to get the work done on schedule.

I found Capitol Chimney on Angie's List and contracted them for the job. The owner, Roger Velasquez came out for the estimate which i found to be reasonable for the task at hand. His crew arrived as scheduled and they worked every single day to tear down the old chimney and rebuild it from ground up, including new foundation, two new chimney boxes and the painting inside. Roger was kind enough to return every one of my phone calls and was most professional and courteous--as were his crew members and the foremen Javier and Henry in all our interactions. They all spoke very well English and answered all my questions each time, I am very happy with my new chimney and the quality of work I received from Capitol Chimney and gladly recommend them to others.

Went well - I purchased a coupon on Angie's list, and called the company who was able to meet my specific service timeline. Workers came and went within their window and cleaned up after themselves. Hard to directly observe the quality of the work given I don't look up into the chimney very often, but I would use this company again.

It was fine. They came and it took them 20 minutes to do. They put a drop cloth down; they were clean and cleaned up well.

It was fabulous. You can't waterproof a chimney when it rains and every single time they were scheduled, it rained. They were very nice and apologetic about it. They did a good job.

It was a pleasure to deal with Roger and his crew. They are all very polite and respectful. Roger is very communicative and keeps you informed about what the plans are as well as anything that arises in the process. I would definitely recommend them and will look to them again should we need any future work performed.

Their estimate was at least $400 less than the next-highest estimate. And their work was fantastic. The crew arrived on time, worked quickly and cleanly, and finished when they said they would (about 2. 5 days later). No complaints.

They did nice quality job. They were very friendly.

The job went great! There was a lot to have done and they got it all done in one day (amazing). I had to reline 2 chimneys, rebuild the back firewall of one, close off an old flue, and install some locking rain caps. They started in the morning and worked all day to get the job done leaving the area clean when they left. They brought all their own supplies and I didn’t need to provide them with anything. I am very pleased with the work done and the price was hard to refuse. I would highly recommend them!

We were extremely pleased with Capitol Chimney Service. Their estimate came in $1,000 below another company we called. Since we live in a duplex and our chimney is attached to our neighbors, Roger recommended that we consult with our neighbor to put a crown around the whole chimney to make the repairs last longer. Our neighbor also wanted a cap on his chimney and Capitol Chimney Service put the cap and crown on his chimney for $250. When we decided to use Capitol Chimney service for the repairs, they scheduled the job for two days later. They did quality work in a very timely manner. There was great communication and when there was trouble finishing the job because of weather, they made our job their top priority and finished the work as soon as possible. I would highly recommend Capitol Chimney Service for chimney work.
