Excellent work but thought the rebuilt work was expensive, completed work looked very professional.

The chimney sweep said my flu had water damage and refused to clean the flu or do temporary repairs to stop water damage. He spent 10 min on site, and offered/upsold an expensive replacement, and did unnecessary damage to the flu pipe with his "inspection".

After my first choice appointment time not being available, they conscientiously kept in touch to make an appointment. They came during the appointment time frame, they didn't leave a mess, they were polite.

The price was a little expensive. There were other companies that didn’t charge as much. They were still very professional. I couldn’t see anything they were doing, but they did clean up after themselves and they did a good job. They didn’t come when they were supposed to, and they didn’t call, but they did get me in within a few days of calling. They were supposed to be here at 1:30 and didn’t show up until 5:30, but they did stay until it was finished. I was glad they came.

The services were performed when my contractor was there but I was not present. The chimney was cleaned but I did still find some spiderwebs at the opening . While I received an estimate for potential repairs ito the fireplace, I never received the actual inspection report for the chimney.

They were very professional and did terrific job . They also did a wonderful job with cleaning up afterwards.

It went well. They identified some issues and left some quotes for future work that needs to be performed. They were not pushy and left the chimney area very neat.

They did a wonderful job on the cleaning but they never went onto the roof. I am not sure if that is normal for the type of fireplace I have or not.

Some issues were found and repairs made the following week.

The crew of two was professional, quiet and efficient. They left no mess. What most impressed me was the fact that they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. The leader noted that I had a decorative clay chimney pot and said I probably would not want a cap on top of that. He was right. I liked that they were clearly here to do the work, not to upsell other services or products.

They came and cleaned the chimney and fireplace area and left an estimate for needed further repairs which seemed way too high in price.

Technitions arrived on time with proper equipment to carefully survey the condition of the flue and the dampers, and provide cost estimates for repair and replacement. No physical work was performed, but was postponed to next fall. All cost of the visit was covered by the Angie's List contract. No pressure was applied to conduct immediate work, and we were completely satisfied with the visit.

Aside one scheduling hiccup, because of rain, the came and did the inspection and cleaning. Early winter is a busy time so understandable that we had to wait a few weeks for them to come back to do the parge. Everyone I interacted with at Capital Chimney was professional and courteous. I would use them again.

After waiting for over two weeks for my appointment Capitol Chimney Service called the day before my appointment to confirm the schedule, service needed, and cost. I arranged for someone to stay home from work and lose pay in order to cover my appointment. Capitol Chimney Service called the morning of my appointment to cancel and wanted to reschedule me for another week longer due to light rain. I found this very unprofessional since they could have told me the day before and also checked the weather forecast to see light rain was expected.

Punctual, professional and very good about not making any kind of mess inside the home!

But the quote for the fix was very high. We decided to have other companies to bit on the project.

They arrived when they said they would, set up properly, did the work and cleaned up their mess. I got a quality product for my money.

Great, job completed within 1 or 1 an half

The workers were careful to protect my belongings during this rather messy job. The men were very professional and did a wonderful job. Looking forward to having a fire in the Fall as I'm told that my fires will burn much better.

Great. The guys that came out were respectful (took off shoes in house, put down mats to protect floor), thorough, and took the time to explain things and educate me on my flue setup and what they found in the inspection. I will defintley use these guys again. I really liked them!

They did a great job. Didn't rush, kept the area neat and finished in a day.
