Arrived a little late but stayed late. Jose did a phenomenal job fixing drywall cracks. I would use him again and recommend him to anyone. I want him back to help do more upkeeping jobs in the spring!

Quallity of painting - excellent. Very professional. Very courteous. Tries very hard to please.. will go the extra mile. For example, he gave me 4 hours of labor on an initial contract that was supposed to cover 3 hours. Another example -- they put on a second coat on doors and trim, when that had not been included in the original price. I started with a 3 hour contract and then had them come back for a larger job. They cleaned up the job site very nicely.They made a special trip to get new plates to cover electrical outlets and switches, and obtained several different versions so that I could choose which one I wanted. They did that on their own time. Very good prep work with excellent caulking.

I had purchased the Big Deal for three hours of Painting or Drywall Repair for $129 (we paid a little more for additional time and materials). Mr. Cortez contacted me right away and we agreed on February 24th for the work to be done. We had a number of drywall patches in our basement ceiling that needed finishing. Mr. Cortez first taped the seams and then applied joint compound. Some of the drywall patches were uneven and required a second application of joint compound. He worked steadily and did a beautiful job. Mr. Cortez was very pleasant and I'm so pleased with the quality of his work.

Jose contacted me soon after I purchased the 3 hours of work. He was quick to say that usually three hours is not sufficient, and while I knew that, it was nice to see that he was upfront on the time. We agreed on a schedule and he said they would arrive at 8:00am. He and his crew of one were there by 8:05. I showed him the two places that needed repair and we discussed what needed to be done. While his crew set up, he left to get matching paint for the bathroom (I had paint for the kitchen). Jose came back and then dropped off the paint and told me to call him if I had any questions. About 5 hours later his crew person had finished and Jose showed up with the invoice said job was not as difficult as they had at first thought as the damage was not that bad. Nice to see the honesty. I the job they did was excellent so I did contract with him to do some other work more drywall, painting but also installing some molding - it looks great.

Looks great. Work was finished quickly, can't tell that there was anything wrong. Very helpful and patient with my questions.

Mr. Jose Cortez of the company came to my house a few days earlier to plan the work. He and workers came to do the work on 2/72015. All the works are done nicely on the day. Mr. Cortez had a final walk through and found a few places that he felt needing more work. He asked workers to come in again and get all done. Overall, the company did a great job. I am very happy.

Scheduling was easy - Jose is very professional and respectful. His English speaking skills are limited, but he understands well - your patience will pay off!

C&C showed up on time and did an excellent job in the drywall repair. After the initial $120 voucher purchase, I paid an additional ($40 for 1 extra hour) and ($40 for materials which were exlcuded). After the drywall repair, I negotiated a rate for him to come back and paint 2 of my ceilings to cover the repairs. I am pleased with both jobs that were done for me and would recommend these guys easily. They were very polite and respectful of my space and my time and took great care to cover everything and protect my valuables. The only negative is that sometimes communicates are difficult on the phone with English not being Jose's first language but we communicated fine by email and in person.

I haven't heard from them. I want a refund.

Jose (contractor) was prompt on arriving and quickly mades sure all areas were covered where he would be working. He did an excellent job patching and fixing the waterspots and even went out to get the paint that would match the ceiling and painted it. I would definitely recommend this contractor to my friends.

Great, he scraped the drywall and repaired the moisture damage, plus some additional spots where the paint was peeling and needed mudding over. I will be repainting the bathroom, and needed someone better at repair to patch up the drywall before I paint. He laid down cloths to keep the house clean, was prompt and courteous and did the job well. He also was very punctual at responding to my purchase and setting up the appointment.

All work was done in a professional manner and according to schedule. Jose and his wife spent an entire Sunday on the job and, when they realized that this would not be enough to complete the job, we extended the contract for an additional day. To make sure that things were done correctly, he actually came back three times. We're very happy with the work as well as the way that it was done and would recommend the team to anyone. Also, the price as very fair, considering that Jose came to our house four times and the bill included all supplies except paint (which we provided).

Jose and David were efficient, professional and punctual, and the finished project is an absolute work of art. They surveyed the damage, and as David started prepping the ceiling and walls, Jose went to a nearby home improvement store to purchase supplies. They finished the work, including clean-up within one day. Cost was very reasonable, and I haven't seen drywall patching done this well, ever. Really.

Never heard from company to schedule service. Wrote them a second time and still no response. If they can't respond as required within 2 days per the coupon or respond to my other inquires then I do not want to try and deal with them to have work done. Please refund my $124. I give them an F and I am very unhappy with Angie's list for having big deal providers that do not uphold their end of the Big Deal.

There was a language barrior with provider and he had indicated that he could not perform the services I wanted. I told him not to come out since he couldn't do the job. They showed up this morning when we were not expecting them. They were very nice but I sent them away.

I had been hesitant to have people come to paint our second floor, but it needed to be refreshed after 15 years of living in our home. There were a number of dings and scratches on the walls and the baseboards as well as cracks in the plaster and a hole in the wall above the door to our bedroom. Also a strip of the drywall on the ceiling of our bedroom was missing. It was made when our roof was replaced. At the appointed time on Tuesday January 13, 2015, three painters arrived at our home. We had talked with the leader two times before, so they knew what we wanted them to do. Before they arrived, the lead painter purchased the paint and other items, which we paid for in advance. First they covered the flooring with a plastic and covered inside the closets so that no paint or dust would splatter our clothing. Next they moved all of the furniture--even though they had offered to move our small items and paintings, we did this ourselves before they arrived. Next they fixed a number of cracks in the plaster. We had some drywall that needed to be replaced and when they attempted to do this, they found there was a leaking pipe in the ceiling. The lead painter suggested I call a plumber who came the next day to fix the pipe and stop the leak. This in itself was worth the money we paid for the painting. After filling the holes, they proceeded to paint our very large bedroom. Then they worked on the halls and the landings. The painters were very careful not to drop paint on the carpets and carefully cleaned before they left each day and during the day as well. At the appointed time, they arrived each day and worked a full 8-9 hour day with a short time off for lunch. They were meticulous, super workers and we felt the job they accomplished was well worth our money and time. Our upstairs looks so much better now.

Very friendly but quality of work wasn't great.

My appointment was scheduled for next Wed., Nov. 11. Making arrangements and communicating with provider went smoothly. Unfortunately, the work that needed to be done prior to painting is not done.

This took a long time to schedule. I would often not hear back for quite some time and it end up taking weeks to get scheduled. I admit, I didn't always respond quickly either, but upon trying to confirm a day I thought we had scheduled, I got the reply, "This date does not works" Ok. Well, you suggested it and what date does work? When we finally got it scheduled I emailed twice asking what supplies I needed to have on hand for the jobs and then never heard a reply. So then I was extremely frustrated to have him show up and tell me that the spackle I had for the walls was not the right material. If I knew what materials was correct I wouldn't need a handyman! Fortunately he had some leftover material in his car that he used to repair the cracks. The job was done fine but it was frustrating.

I started off by purchasing a deal for 4 hours of handy man services for $99. I asked if he would be able to start the back-splash and put it up (realizing it would need over night to dry and then I would have to put the grout in). I had asked in advance what tools/supplies they would need so it would all be ready for him when he showed up. When he showed up, he had someone with him which changed the plan so that 2 people were now there for only 2 hours. I had purchased the wrong product and one of the gentlemen had to run to Home Depot to pick up the right thing leaving the other gentleman at the house not doing anything. I had a bunch of lighting fixtures that needed changing out so I asked him to do that while he waited (even though I already had a family friend coming in to help with that). An hour later the gentleman came back with the right products and began working on the back-splash. When the two hours were up, nothing had been done but the light fixtures. I was disappointed by that but asked them to stay till it was up so I could get it done. Four hours later it was up but it was not done very well. The tiles weren't level, there were large gaps in some of the tile and not others, the cuts they had to make weren't clean, and there was tile glue all over my counter-top and in my sink. I'm just not confident that they were qualified to do what I asked and they charged me for the additional hours they were there but said they would be back in a couple days to paint the walls and put in the grout for me and that it would all come together then. They came back, put in the grout, and it doesn't look any better. I also now have dried grout stuck to my brand new counter-tops (if anyone knows how to get it off, please let me know!) and my new sink is stained as well. Now I'm out $669 and looking to have someone else come in and clean it up.

He was prompt, professional and very pleasant. He worked efficiently without requiring oversight - including obtaining necessary tools from his truck for the services required. I will definitely use him again and recommend his services highly.

I have tried 7 other contractors for small jobs around the house and this is the only one I am having doing more work. He showed up on time, had no problems with the items I asked him to fix. He cleaned up after himself. After each item was fixed he asked me to check it out to make sure that it met with my approval before moving on to the next item. He was originally supposed to come over on 9/13 but something came up and I had to go out of town unexpectedly. There was no problem with changing the time. I would certainly recommend this group for the quality of their work and their responsiveness.
