Painters arrived on time and were able paint several large rooms, one with a high ceiling, and a hallway. Several drywall defects were smoothed out with plaster. The final product was completed to our satisfaction.

Jose and his team went the extra mile to make me happy! They stayed late to get the job done in the right way. Jose was responsive and genuinely concerned with quality performance. They took care of the floors, trim, railing, etc., and cleaned well after painting and before they left. I recommend these guys - they truly work hard!

He showed up for the estimate and gave his recommendations, explaining how he would handle problem areas with mold/mildew and other issues. He helped me save money on the paint because he told me to go when there was a big sale at Sherwin Williams, rather than him buying the paint for me. The guys at the store knew him well, and it turns out he's a regular customer there. He took care of all of the details of the order (20+ gallons of paint) and they loaded everything into the car for me. Such a better experience than going to a self-service hardware store like Home Depot! Jose showed up the first day on time with 4 other workers, and they quickly prepped the rooms with tarps and patching. Their drywall work is very good, and his crew works well together. The job took longer than I had expected, but that's because I kept adding extra work for them to do because they were doing such a good job. Overall, it took four days -- including Saturday. The house looks great, and I am happy we used premium paint. Anybody can grab a brush and a slap paint on a wall. The difference is that Jose really cares about his reputation, and will work hard to keep true to his word at a fair price. He always showed up on time, was honest about his time estimates, and agreed to do additional labor that went beyond painting. I never heard him arguing with his workers, and it seemed like they all got along well. I believe that Jose will do whatever it takes to make the customer happy, and that he will deliver what he promises. I would definitely recommend Jose to others, as I had a great experience!

We had a problem getting a date, rain etc but after that it went well. Power washing and replacing the wood made a difference. The painting job was excellent

Things did not go well. Painters stretched out the work stating I was paying $40 per hour after three hours per coupon, but never said times two. I was dis appointed that the painter had to redo and touch up all worked performed by the helper. Helper stood around waiting most of the time for what to do next although I would point at what needing doing. The helper was not worth $40/hour which bought to my attention at the offset of the day. After this experience, I could allow them to come back,and paint especiLly since he would not give me a set price. I got nothing for $609. I hired a different painter to paint my house.this painter was supposed to at least paint the ceiling, but they stretched for a return date that I could not see happening. I did not need his help to pick out and purchase paint at $80/hr. This took all morning and then they went lunch and twanged me to pay for that time too. Also complained that Angie's List only gave him $50 of the $129 coupon amount.

From the time when I first contacted Jose to schedule an appointment for a walk through of the area to be painted I could tell that he was very professional and took his job seriously. Jose is very accommodating; he was able to meet for the walk through the same day I called and was able to begin painting the next day. We originally scheduled the painting for Friday morning at 7:00AM. He contacted me Thursday afternoon to tell me he was in the neighborhood and could paint and possibly finish Thursday night. This was convenient to me since I didn't have to take off work Friday. Jose will do anything to accommodate you. I was a little concerned that the quality of the painting wouldn't be as good as it would if he painted on Friday since I was worried they might rush the job to finish Thursday night. However, they came in and did a great job. His team is very clean, neat, and responsive. I must've bothered Jose ten or more times with spots I wanted him to touch up (these were very small touch ups that no ordinary eye would catch, I am very very picky). With each request I made, he couldn't have been more happy to touch it up. They brought rags, ladders, their own lights, and a vacuum to clean up all of the trim before they painted. We couldn't be happier with the job Jose and his team did. They are true professionals that provide quality service at a reasonable price. His price was lower than two other painters that we got absurd quotes from. We will be using C&Painting, LLC in the future to paint the three bedrooms upstairs. Jose was very quick to schedule and respond. He showed up on time, and finished with 10 minutes left!! We purchased the 2 painters for two days and he showed up with three and they were done in just over 5 hours. We will hire C & Painting again in the next few weeks for more work around our home. Would have been a whole lot cheaper if I had got the paint color right the first time. USE SAMPLES< PAINT LARGE ARES NEXT TO TRIM AND LIVE WITH COLORS FOR A FEW WEEKS That said Jose and his team were great, very responsive, Jose very nice and professional, I'll use him again.

I was contacted by Mr. Cortez soon after the purchase of the "day"of painting for $399.00 offer. We made an agreed upon date to complete the work but I had not remembered a previous commitment for that date and had to reschedule. Mr. Cortez was able to accommodate me in the change but when I gave him the correct new day I provided the wrong numerical date. Once again we hammered out the final date for the work to be accomplished. Make no mistake , I accept full responsibility for the date changes and acknowledge the willingness of Mr. Cortez to switch dates. Throughout the days leading up to the actual ( and final) paint date I sent a number of e mails to Mr. Cortez requesting and offering information that would clarify the scope of the job. For example, I requested how many hours equaled a "day" and did so a couple of times but he never answered the question only saying that he would get the job done. I also sent him a detailed description of the areas to be painted( measurements) and twice offering to send a video of the work area. He received the former, received and declined , the latter( I have e mail proof of this). When he arrived this AM he was right on time bringing with him 3 other workers. He came in and asked "what do you want painted"? I thought that question odd but I showed him the areas that were exactly the areas I had sent to him via previous e mail. He looked everything over then pronounced that he would TRY to finish the job but if he could not then he would have to charge extra! He said he would only allow 16 hours of work insisting that that was made apparent on the Angies List offer. It was not. i advised Mr. Cortez that that approach was unacceptable as I wanted the job done COMPLETELY and not three quarters done or two thirds done. Further I did not accept this new revelation of extra time = extra cost. This , also, was not printed on the offer. He initially feigned no knowledge of my specific questions posed in my earlier e mails. Some of the e mails were sent to his hotmail address as per his request.. When I showed Mr. Cortez the e mails that verified my position he took the tact that Angies List had misrepresented the offering and further indicated that he had requested Angies List to pull the offer. He also insisted that I call Angies List to verify that he had provided clear instructions as to the limits of the offer. I did not oblige. He would not take any responsibility for not addressing my questions or offer of a video which could have obviated much of the confusion. He settled into a mantra which consisted of "he would try to finish" /" he must charge extra for extra time" all of which was peppered with accusations that the ad was run improperly. After much reluctance and considering the time spent trying to get this job done I relented and asked him to proceed . At that point he delivered the Coup de Grace! He wanted to know where the tape and plastic sheets were to cover areas from paint splatter and was incredulous that I had not have them " at the ready". REALLY?! After a brief exchange, he and I had it with one another. He closed his companion and headed for the front door which I was all to happy to open for him! I am sure that Mr. Cortez may see this encounter through his own prism but it was , as they say, a"descent into h***" from the very outset of the deal. I think the major faults were threefold: 1. language barrier 2.failure to reply to my specific questions and offer of the video of the work areas. 3.expectations (both sides) The message to anyone else thinking to use this company" if you avoid the faults you well may have a satisfactory experience". Finally, would you be good enough see that my credit card is appropriately credited.

I have gone with Jose previously on Angie's List because he is truly the best. We needed some help at our townhouse because the window casing paint was flaking off, as was a great deal of the roof edging. Jose came out for an estimate and took care of everything from there. The house looks brand new again. He even painted additional areas not included in the estimate because he wanted to make sure everything looked perfect. I will continue to use Jose because I trust him and his work speaks for itself.

The worst service we experienced on Angie's List in our lives. Two painters from C&P Painting LLC arrived on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 9:00am and departed at 1:00pm. They stayed only four hours each for a total of eight hours. We paid for two painters for eight hours for a total of 16 hours. In addition, one of the two continuously was on the phone and not painting. We had four rooms to be painted but all they did was one room and a very poor sloppy job with streaks and uneven painting with a mixture of single and double coats mismatched. It was horrible and ugly. The walls were better looking before they started painting n comparison with the mess they left us. These two men were not painters--they were amateurs. I very strongly recommend not hiring this company or anyone associated with this service. What a nightmare!!!

What a great experience! I bought the deal in late December, hoping to be ready soon. Other projects delayed this one, and we could not schedule it until April. Jose Cortez came out and discussed the job in a professional way. They could not fit us in until the end of the month, which was fine with us. I bought the 4 different colors of paint. On the day, traffic caused the painters to come 40 minutes late, happens to us too. Jose Torres was personable and he and his assistant did a very nice job. They looked over the spaces, put down canvas drapes, and did some sanding before painting. They worked efficiently and quietly so we were able to carry on our activities in the adjacent kitchen and living room without disruption. I actually hadn't thought they would be able to do the laundry room, but I had the paint, so I cleared it out when I saw how quickly they were progressing. They sanded there too and took care to paint behind the washer and dryer to the extent possible. Before leaving they had me check their work; it all looked so much better, no problems at all.

It went great and I'm very satisfied. They did power washing before as well. They are very professional.

This was by far the best price for the deal provided, which, along with seeing multiple positive reviews, is why we chose C & Painting. Jose made time in his busy schedule initially to stop by and survey the situation (a brand new house with horrible builder-included off white paint). He was timely, professional, and knowledgeable about what we needed and offered good suggestions. We wanted all walls, ceiling, and trim done, which is a BIG job with 9' ceilings. Jose recognized that we needed to fit in painting between movers, cable installation, floor installation, etc., and he scheduled us for a Sunday despite having his teams fully booked throughout the week! On the day of service, he and two others showed up when they said they would and immediately got to work. We checked in throughout the morning but it all went smoothly. The team was efficient, professional, pleasant and, most important of all, GOOD! Lines are clean, trim is streak free, and the ceiling is WHITE and not the builders awful original color! The paint looks terrific! While the job took just over 16 labor hours, Jose did not charge for the extra time, which he was free to do. Neither did he charge for any materials (we supplied the paint only), which he could have done as well since the deal only included labor. We will definitely be calling C& Painting again. Jose was incredibly easy to work with and did a terrific job.

The team was super clean while painting and did a great job! I bought an Angie's list deal ....great buy!!

Jose and his colleague were great. I bought one of their three-hour specials to fix some water damage in my upstairs office. He contacted me very quickly to set up an appointment. The problem turned out to be more serious than anticipated, with a large amount of drywall needing to be replaced, some mold underneath, and rotting wood. Whew. They stayed and fixed the damage. Pleased with their work. They were also nice fellows. It might be worth a quick e-mail to Jose the day before your appointment to confirm. I get the sense they are very busy plus deal with unanticipated factors that can throw their schedule off.

They did a good job of painting, but the processes of getting to that was pretty bad. At first they didn't contact me after my Big Deal purchase, so Angie's List had to get them in touch with me. When I talked to them about scheduling I told them exactly what I needed done and was told it would take more than the 3 hours I purchased and that it would require a special machine to complete the painting. This ended up costing me another $800 over teh $129 I had already paid. They never ended up using a special machine, however painting itself was very professional. Everyone was very nice, but it was still frusting.

Arrived on time and ready to work. Job completed expeditiously and professionally. Would use them again and recommend them highly!!

The guys at C-Painting did a great job painting my entire townhouse in a day and a half. Jose even accommodated my schedule when he found out I needed to coordinate a variety of jobs to renovate our rental property. I recommend his company whenever you need painting.

Two workers. Very Diligent. Except for lunch break - worked continuously from arrival to completion.

When its an outside they recommend the customer prep the job. I don’t do ladders.

After initial communication problem, Jose came out and apologized and we scheduled work. Team arrived on time, were professional and courteous. Area looks outstanding. Will definitely use again!

Overall, the company did an excellent job. We were very pleased with the finished product. They cleaned up behind themselves and did not leave a huge mess. I appreciated Jose's attention to detail and attentiveness to meeting the needs of the customer. He went above and beyond to satisfy every one of our requests. He also worked over time to complete the job. He stayed some late nights, and worked on Saturday and Sunday as well.

I called him and had it scheduled fine, but I had to cancel due to the weather and had to reschedule. The communication has been fine with provider between email and phone calls.
