Jose and his team confirmed that the job would take 2 to 3 days. They arrived punctually on the first day and worked into the late afternoon including additional walls that were not in the initial scope (with no increased cost) in order to make the entire room look uniform. His team was able to finish the work by the end of the second day, they were that efficient. The colors I chose for one of my walls, is very dark and needed multiple coats. His team did an excellent job keeping the color uniform and streak-free with no additional charge for the added time needed to complete the coats. I will definitely call him when I am ready to do the final rooms in my home.

We had used C & Painting to touch up portions of our house when we put it on the market and they did an excellent job with this (which we have previously reviewed). After the sale we needed some touch up patching and painting to deal with holes in the wall and other issues resulting from removing a TV mounted on the wall and dealing with the result of a lot of pictures on the wall in my daughter's room. Jose and he crew were extremely responsive to our request. They arrived punctually, handled the job quickly and competently and did so for an excellent price. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

After a couple of reschedules, both theirs and mine the job got completed. It was to be done in one day and I had to push a little towards the end of the day but they completed the job to my satisfaction. Jose was extremely pleasant to work with and while the painters weren't fluent in English, we did okay communicating through Jose. I would recommend them for exterior painting.

Jose was extremely courteous ad professional. He was on time during the initial evaluation of the work to be done, in a follow-up meeting to confirm the colors we had chosen and the actual day the work was performed On the day of the painting Jose arrived with his crew and each person could not be more courteous. The crew spent time laying drop cloths in both the hallways and the rooms to be painted. The work that was done both inside the house and outside was meticulous. Small holes were patched, a primer coat applied and two coats of paint. The paint was applied evenly and looks fabulous. On the exterior of the house, where there was a judgment as to whether something should be painted, Jose would always check before painting to be sure we wanted that section painted. At the end of the day, a small hole had been patched and was not completely dry and so the primer and top coat could not be applied. Jose willingly came back early the next day to finish putting on the top coat of paint. We would wholeheartedly recommend Jose for anyone considering having painting done.

Jose Cortez, the company's owner, came as scheduled to give an estimate for the job we wanted done and set up a date for the work to begin. After a delay of two days because a previous job took longer than expected, he and five others arrived at 8 am and worked throughout the day. They were very professional and organized, moving furniture when needed and carefully covering everything. The following day, they again arrived promptly and worked through until 7pm when the job was finished. Despite the long day, before leaving they checked for missed spots and paint drops and did a good clean up. A few days later, Jose emailed me asking if he needed to return for any touch ups, but I could find nothing that needed to be done. Jose is very conscientious and eager to please his customers. On his own, he decided the Sherwin Williams paint he purchased did not exactly match my Benjamin Moore paint chip so returned it and purchased Benjamin Moore paint, absorbing the extra cost himself. That impressed me, as did his work ethic. Jose and his staff worked long and hard, always with good humor. I certainly would recommend him to my friends.

The service was great. Employees were professional, most did not speak any English, but we could communicate through the "boss". I purchased the $999 for 40 hours deal. I did pay an additional $500 for paint and materials. 4 people came and stayed for approximately 10 hours. They were able to paint most of what I wanted. Work was very good. There were some very small paint splatters that I noticed later when cleaning. The last room done, the powder room, was a little less quality than the other rooms. I think they were tired after a full day's work. Overall, great work and I would recommend.

He power washed the house to prep for the deal that I had paid for. They left the hose running while I was away, which resulted in flooding out an ant colony and I then had to hire an exterminator to get rid of the ants in my house. My exterior flood light does not work anymore since they power washed, and they cleaned out their truck while they were here (probably washed it too) and put all of their garbage into my recycling bin which I then had to clean out. This man appears to be very friendly and hard working, but he is not a good businessman nor supervisor of his crew. Very bad experience for me.

Service was OK, the more advance work you can do to prep before the painters arrive, the better they do. Their overall work was OK (not great), room they did took 3 coats of paint to properly cover but rooms I did myself only needed two. Not sure if it was the way they painted or the rollers they used but the added coats took more time and limited the amount of work they did. I might hire them again for small jobs but for a complete house project such as ours was probably too much to ask.

It was okay but I was expecting that the paint would be a much better quality. They couldn’t complete it all in one day. They had to come in several break time like two days or three days. I was expecting a better quality but it’s not that well.They said that the square inch was a little bit bigger than they requested. Punctuality was not too well because they came late. I would use them again if they could provide a better price and a better paint quality.

purchased a big deal for a day of exterior painting. promptly scheduled a time for the house to be pressured washed before painting. discovered wood rot issues which were pointed out to give us time to have them repaired rather than filled. once the repair work was completed contacted them again - with no contact in the intervening 3 months - and a day was scheduled for painting. crew showed up on time both times and did a very careful job.

Mr. Jose Cortez and his crew were extremely professional, not only in the work performed, but in their interaction with me. Each area received two coats, work was neat and cleanup done before leaving my home. Work began on 6/23 and while the time spent exceeded the advertised "special" parameters, I was glad to pay for a few extra hours so all the areas in question could be receive their first coat. Work resumed for second coat in all areas on 7/1. Mr. Cortez returned on 7/8 to perform a few touchups at no cost. I would highly recommend this company to any member of Angie's List and plan to also recommend Mr. Cortez to other friends and neighbors. Will definitely use his services in the future.

I called Jose to make an appointment and he was very responsive and polite on the phone. He showed up on time and gave me his estimate at the end of his visit. His price was very competitive and after I read all the good reviews, I decided to work with him. Jose and his crew did a very good job, always showed up on time and called if they would be late. They worked very hard to finish the work (my house is 2500 sqft) on time and even worked on a Sunday all day. Jose was extremely respectful and professional. He went above and beyond to satisfy our needs and to make us happy. Our house looks beautiful and we are very satisfied. A big thank you to Jose!

Jose (worker on site) communicated with me on site throughout the day. I had to get more paint bc the ceilings/walls just soaked it up, but he let me know in plenty of time and they just kept plugging away while I was gone. Very professional and high quality work. Covered furniture in plastic wrap and used drop cloths, too. Jose checked with me first about where to clean their brushes, etc which I really appreciated. Overall, a positive experience.

We had a coupon for interior painter for the day. The painter was prompt, professional, and did a fantastic job. He painted two large rooms, one of which needed quite a bit of repair work to fix cracks in the walls. The rooms look great. I would definitely use them again in the future

We recently moved into a new build house and the builder paint was a horrible neutral color that we needed to fix! Initially we purchased an Angie's Big Deal from C&Painting for $400 and after they did a terrific job, Jose gave us an estimate for the rest of the house. It was better than the other two estimates we had received, which we expected to be high since the ceilings and all trim had to be done in addition to walls. Jose and his team set up and got to work. It took roughly 2 weeks after which he came back several times to address touch up issues. He was very responsive and always available within a few hours of receiving my calls. The paint looks terrific … took two coats in most places and required scaffolding for the high ceiling stairwell. We couldn't be happier. They were always professional, pleasant, and very easy to work with. I will point out that Jose and his team are very busy! We were fortunate they were available and will happily use them in the future!

Came on time and did repair within allowed time. Did a professional job.

not good , they responded with four painters who deliberately took their time to go past the four hour limit thinking I would pay an additional two hours for the four painters at forty dollars per painter. if their was less talk and more work the project could have been completed within the first four hours. once their time was up they did not put back anything they took down in the areas they did not paint.I had to go over the areas they painted because you could see the high's and low's in the paint.

We needed to have our home ceiling repainted on a short timetable, and Jose was very understanding and accommodating to our schedule needs. He was very friendly, professional, and got the job done in the time he said he would. The ceilings look great, and no mess was left behind. We would definitely use his services again if we needed more painting done.

I originally hired C& Painting on an Angie's list big deal for painting. In the course of painting a bedroom ceiling, they discoverd part of the ceiling was wet. I had a leak in that area years ago but thought it was fixded. I agreed with the painting contractor Jose that the ceiling had to be fixed and the source of the identified to prevent a mold problem. We agreed on a $500 cost of the job with the contractor supplying everything but the paint. Two men spent 8 hours taking out the old drywall, installing new drywall , sanding and painting. The ceiling looks terrific. No le ak was identified but plastic sheeting was installed over a large area in the attic to prevent future damage. The crew was very neat, putting up plastic sheeting all over the job site and then vacuuming it all at the end. I am very pleased at the end result.

They were prompt and left a young man to finish up some wall and ceiling edges we felt uncomfortable doing. He was very accomodating and finished up the work to satisfaction.

When I initially contacted him, Jose Cortez was extremely responsive and promptly set up a time to come over and review the required work. As promised, he provided a written invoice within 24 hours of this review and scheduled the work to be started within a few days. Jose and his team arrived promptly as scheduled on June 5 and completed the interior work that day. His team did a very good job of cleaning up inside the house after the work was completed. The exterior work was initiated on June 6 (a Saturday). It could not be completed that day so Jose arranged to come back and finish the work on June 9. In order to ensure a good overall result Jose recommended some additional power washing (that had not originally been contemplated) and performed this at no additional charge. We are extremely pleased with the overall result and the professionalism of Jose and his team. I would have no hesitation in recommending C & Painting LLC to anyone needing painting, power washing and associated work.

This is the second time I have used C & Painting LLC. They did a great job. Since this was a timed service I wasn't sure how much they could get done. Jose and team not only completed my main projects but asked if there was anything else they could do while the first coat dried on the bathrooms. That's when I suggested the hallway. I went and bought the paint (Jose let me use his account to receive a professional discount) and they were able to get that done as well. I was so pleased with the service that I asked for and received an estimate for another project which I am currently scheduling.

The painters were punctual, friendly, and courteous. They assessed the job, covered my furniture and wood floors, and got right to work. While one of the painters spackled over some nail and screw holes in the walls, the other one started on the trim. They worked well as a team and did a good job. I was very satisfied with the painting they completed, and I am having them return to paint some additional rooms.

I purchased a $399 big deal for 2 painters for 8 hrs each. I purchased the deal about a month of advance and scheduled the exact date when I was ready. The provider was very responsive and easy to schedule. Jose (the supervisor) and 2 painters arrived on time. We discussed the work and both painters started working hard and efficiently. Plastic and drop clothes protected everything. They removed pictures from the walls and replaced them when the paint dried. Unlike some deals where you buy say 2 painters or workers and only one is really a professional and the other just gets stuff from the truck or cleans up, these were 2 real painters and they did a very nice job. I would definitely hire them again.

I'm giving an overall A performance because Jose was able to work with my schedule, finished on-time, and the quality was decent. I highly recommend to have Jose check out the house first as he will be up-front in estimating the time needed to complete the job. For example, I had a room with wallpaper and he knew right away that it was going to go beyond the 16 hrs job. Thus, I decided to take down the wallpaper myself and purchased the paint and primer. This saved both time and cost. I had a 2-man crew perform the paint job and it was impressive to see how quick they worked. They worked so fast that I ended up having them paint another room which Jose graciously agreed to, and still finished within the allotted time. Working fast has its trade-offs - primarily quality. I suggest being on-site and provide some oversight in case of missed spots or touch-up. Jose's crew were very nice in accommodating the areas I felt still needed to be addressed or touched-up. They were overall very professional, responsive, and efficient. I would hire them again.
