They were quick. They were nice. I stained my own trim and they cut that up for me and put it in instead of using the stuff that you can purchase. They moved our furniture back and forth, wherever it needed to be. I think the price was very fair.

These floors are beautiful. This company came in and got the job done quickly. They were very knowledgeable in their field. They were also very pleasant and meticulous during insulation.

Flooring looks beautiful. Initally, there were many issues with the work quality on the baseboard. The company responded right away but it took several weeks before actaully getting it resolved. The owner eventually came out himself and he could see very clearly that this was not the standard that his company represents. He sent David to correct the work. David did an incredible job. Very professional, very cordial, and an A+ job This guy knows his craft. The lower rating reflect the work of the first team and their lack of professionalism and work quality. Otherwise I would have given them A's across the board. If I have more trim or flooring work to be done I would use them again.
Description of Work: Installed lock flooring and new baseboard.

I understand that every house is NOT 100% rectangle. But the planks curve in the middle of my floors (living room, dining room, foyer, kitchen) as a result of there installation. Usually they pick a straight line in the middle of the floor and then make adjustments at the edge walls. In this case, the just installed it with the wrong reference point or a bad reference point and the whole floor looks bad. At first, i was just happy that we had new floors that were not old and beat up. but the more i looked at the floor, the more it just looks off. I've tried to reach the owner, and we'll see if we can work out a solution.
Description of Work: Team installed hardwood flooring on 650 sf - but installed the floor with curves in the middle of the living room, dining room, kitchen and foyer. Price was fine, and I accepted contract and scheduled install relatively quick.

We happened to like them. They were extremely courteous and worked really hard. We like them a lot more than another company that we had used a couple of years ago. The quality of their work was excellent. They were also very reasonably priced. They called us to follow up and make sure that we were happy. We would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: We used Braz Flooring LLC to install hardwood flooring in the living room. They also installed hardwood floors down the hall on the second floor.

I found them through Lumber Liquidators. Initially the process went very smooth. The owner came out quickly and estimated the job. The price was right so I agreed and we set up an appointment. They showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently to finish the work in the time agreed and I was happy. For reference, this work was performed on 675 sq feet of flooring in a condo. The only problem I had was they were supposed to haul the old flooring away and they didn't bring a truck that could do that, so they had to come back the next day for that. A week or two later I realized there were quite a few lumps and bumps and soft spots in the floor. After trying numerous times to contact them (starting to become a little frustrated), I finally was able to set up an appointment to have them come back to lay additional pad under some of the problem areas. One particular problem area they said they couldn't fix and seemingly unwilling to try to solve the problem. After talking with the owner over the phone I was only now informed that my subfloor was in very poor shape and the floor will never be sturdy and flat. This is something that should have been pointed out to me when they discovered the problem during the initial install. I decided the floor was not up to my standards and that I was going to have them come back and take up the entire floor again and replace all of the subfloor. I knew it would cost me more money but I wanted to be happy with the product. After endlessly calling and emailing them with zero response I finally was able to get in touch with them and come to an agreement on the sub-floor repair. (I was close to filing in small claims court) At this point I am very frustrated. Not only because this problem have been avoided if I was initially told about the sub-floor, but also because it is next to impossible to get a hold of them. To give a time frame, it's been about two months since the initial install and the appointment we set up was for a month later. This is a huge frustration because I feel like I can't do anything else around the house because I know the floor will be torn up again soon. Finally they come in to do the sub-floor repair. They take up all the subfloor and lay new stuff down. I was insistent on using a stronger and thicker subfloor than before and they did. I was told this would take a total of one day. It was getting close to the end of the day and they looked like they still had quite a bit of work to do. Apparently we weren't on the same page because they said they would have to come back. The timing of this all has been very inconvenient because I work a full time job. I can't just come back tomorrow, I have to request off ahead, and in addition I am leaving for 2 weeks vacation. I ended up having to leave for vacation with a half finished floor and everything I owned scattered and in boxes. We scheduled for them to return after my vacation to finish up. The floors were finally finished to my satisfaction after a lot of frustration, time off work, and sacrificed personal time (I also now have to repaint all the baseboards... again...) In the end I am happy with the floor and the price was still fairly reasonable. To their credit when they did the subfloor repair they did a good job making sure everything was level and sturdy. But I felt that was only because I had complained so much and they felt they owed it to me. This should be standard procedure, not just because I complained. Also when they had appointments they showed up on time, worked steadily and efficiently and cleaned up at the end of each day. To their discredit they were extremely difficult to get a hold of (almost daily phone calls and voice mails, I sent 20-30 emails throughout the process and I was responded to only about 4-5 times total). All the problems could have been avoided if they were up front in the beginning. A project I thought would take one day ended up stretching out over 3.5 months.

I got them through a lumber contractor. They charged $2 per square foot. I liked the price and it was good. They were a little hard to get in touch with, but they eventually came when they said they were going to come. They worked quickly and they laid the floor. They didn't tell me that it was recommended to seal with polyurethane and their installation price didn't include the price of sealing. They said that they never seal floors and nobody ever has a problem. It would have increased the price to $3.50 per square foot and everything was already moved back in. They picked up the floor and brought it in. You are supposed to have laminate sit in the room for 36-48 hours to acclimate it because of the moisture in a basement. They didn't unseal the boxes, which was a good thing because instead of getting 21 boxes of flooring, the company mistakenly gave me an extra 10 boxes of flooring. I called and they suggested that I just treat it as a present. I am a very honest person and I called the lumber company and they came and removed the extra boxes. It galled me that they suggested that I keep something that wasn't mine and it wasn't a little mistake. I would absolutely not use this company in the future.
Description of Work: I used Braz Flooring in September to install 410 square feet of hardwood floor.
