More professional they do not come. I've been using BMC/Clower for about 8 years now. They extended the life of my old furnace for about 3 years, when others recommended that it be replaced immediately. The replacement they recommended is more efficient than the old, and as a result, my heating bills are lower. Everyone I have contact with at BMC is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. i would only recommend them to others for anything havving to do with heating and air conditioning.

However the fireplace is not working again. I called them to check it again, since they replaced the battery. I scheduled an appointment and took off work early. The technician did not show up, due to the snowy weather. They didn’t even call me. I called them back last Monday and asked when they could schedule me a technician to complete the work. They have not called me back and there is nothing to update.

Just one technician came out. He was really nice and he was honest. After the job, he said he would send me the bill and it was better than I expected.

BMC Clower is a well run company. Their employees are all very professional, from the phone people to the technicians, and friendly. The new boiler works great. We've had a couple of hitches, but they were addressed with speed and courtesy. I highly recommend them.

I find them reliable and they technicians who come out are knowledgeable. They know what they are doing. They released the air from my radiators too. They gave me a window of a couple of hours. I asked if they could contact me when they were on their way, the technician called me when he was in his van, since he was running ahead of schedule and I found that very helpful.

They are very bright technicians, very capable, very efficient. They also respond to emergencies very well.

It went fine. The annual contract covers two visits (winter and summer) and fixing problems at other times. I think it's $200 per year.

I have had work done last year and this year and they were great. The price of their services is comparable for this area.

We are very satisfied with their srvice.. Earlier, we had two other companies (from Angie's list) come and give us a diagnosis of the problem. Both had said that the problem was in the boiler itself and wanted to replace it. When BMC Clower came we heard something different. They correctly dagnosed the problem, and offered different solutions to solve it. and they did not try to push the expensive alternative. They were very professional. We signed a maintenance contract with them too.

I have used them for about a year. They do a fine service. I like knowing that they are on top of the HVAC maintenance. They schedule they appointments, they show up and do the work. They tell me what they have done. They check the system and change the filter to make sure the HVAC is working properly. We also have a hole house humidifier and they check and change that filter as well.

I have only good things to say about them. They are very prompt and personable. I think they are knowledgeable. I trust them and I do not feel like I am being taken advantage of either.

I am on a service contract with them. Their service is great. They are efficient and they come on time.

Installation went great. The units heat and cool nicely. Great company - highly recommended.

The technician came late on a Saturday morning. No phone call. I was subsequently told by a customer service representative that technicians may come late if they have child responsibilities. In the absence of receiving a phone call, I do not know if this was the technician's issue. Nor do I know if he made a sincere effort to get to my home in downtown Silver Spring, (a mile from the main office), by 8:00 am. Working night shifts, taking on the responsibility of being ready to go at 8:00 am was burdensome to me. I did not feel appreciated for my effort and neither did I feel respected.

Good service and professional installers, but with one problem. Water supply to the humidifier was not adjusted properly before the installers left, so when the humidifier kicked on the first time (while we were sleeping, naturally), it poured water all over the floor. They responded quickly when we discovered the mini flood, but no suggestion they had any responsibility for the mess.

I contacted three reputable Angie's List companies to replace my aging Carrier unit. It was 18 years old and conked out on us last summer. Needless to say I wanted to get it replaced ASAP. Of the three companies I got quotes from BMC/Clower was the most competitive in terms of price AND flexibility allowing me to pay in two installment on my credit card. Another smaller company only accepted cash which is fine but I'm a mileage points fiend. Mr. Clower was probably the least enthusiastic of the three gentlemen who came out to my house but I'm not choosing a company for it's personality :-). The price was right, the equipment was right, and the reviews on this site were spot on. The installation itself went without a hitch. Technicians were prompt, professional, hard-working younger guys. About a week after the unit was installed I started noticing that despite the thermostat being set to 70 the unit wasn't cooling my house past maybe 72. This increasingly got worse and naturally I reached out to BMC about the problem. They quickly sent someone out to investigate and it was determined to be a faulty valve that was causing the unit to not be able to perform correctly. That was replaced and we were back in action. However this problem recurred at least 3 more times. This was incredibly frustrating as it's the middle of summer, I've just spent thousands of dollars replacing this unit, and people are having to adjust their schedules to accommodate the technicians coming back. The problems they cited ranged from not enough refrigerant to dirty filter etc. Whatever was going on it was causing the indoor coil to freeze and then diminish the cooling power. Now each time I called with a problem they were as cordial and professional as ever. They never blamed me for anything, they always got someone out promptly within a day or two, and of course I wasn't charged for any of these service calls. I never received anything less than courteous service from the technicians either. Since the last visit about a month ago we haven't had anymore problems with it and it's been cooling super well. They said that prior to replacing the unit there was no filter in the unit and that there could be a heavy build-up of dust in the ductwork which was causing the filter to clog super fast so I plan to check those monthly. I pray it stays this way. There is a two year labor warranty and 10 year parts warranty which is a good thing and has def come in handy. If the company had a bad attitude this could easily be a C review but their willingness to help and stick by their product and service has made the difference.

John listened to what we needed, surveyed the situation and came up with several options. When our choice was made, a call was placed to Sarah( who turned out to be a very efficient part of the workings of BMC/Clower Inc.). An installation date was set and Thomas began the orchestrated removal and replacement of the components with very capable help of Jesse. Nick arrived to Help with the final completion of the job!! We could not be happier with the professional installment and cleanup of the job site!! This is a company worth using if you want quality work from the office to the field. We do plan on using BMC/Clower for another job, this is not just a one time thing.
