We are completely satisfied with the results. We received a higher estimate from a larger plumbing company that was more aggressive in selling their services, but were won over by Aspen Hill's detailed estimate, lower price and professional, personalized service. This was a major job that required our entire front yard be dug up so that the drain could be replaced and the pitch recalibrated. The entire team worked hard to get the job done quickly and well, and minimize inconvenience to us. Our yard was neatly patched back together and the drain is doing its job. Responsiveness and customer service were impeccable throughout. We would use them again for jobs big and small.

I am very pleased with this company. The staff was very patient with my question, responsive to my phone calls (with more questions) and knowledgeable. The price was reasonable as well. I will definitely use them in the future and will refer to others.

They called to say they were ahead of schedule by about 2 hours and asked if they could come within a half hour, I of course said yes. Both men were friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They explained everything and answered all my questions and got the job done in 1/3 of the time of a previous plumber. I found every interaction on the phone and in person to be very pleasant, customer service interactions are their forte. Really crazy nice, polite, considerate people. Also the cost for doing two drains was half what my old plumber charged for one drain. It took one hour to clear two drains as opposed to three hours for my old plumber to do one drain. Highly recommend these folks.

I found Aspen Hill Plumbing on Angie's List and when I called, though they were busy, James in the office was one of the nicest guys I've talked to and he tried to get someone out to the house in the next day or two. When that wasn't possible, I decided to wait nearly 2 weeks for them alone because James was so courteous and responsive. Guys who came to the house were early, fast, did the job and at a great price. Won't be calling any other plumbing company in the future.

They were good. They came when they were supposed to come. They were very polite. They cleaned up after themselves. They got the job done quickly. They were very responsive.

The plumber who was assigned, Sam, was punctual, courteous, and seemed to be extremely competent. I was very pleased with the service and the price. There was a small split in the drain pipe and Sam discussed the options, either a seal on the old pipe or a more expensive replacement. He suggested that in this case the seal would be just as effective, and I happily went with that option. He also snaked the drain. The only issue was that they were so busy I could not get an appointment for a week, so I obviously could not have used them in an emergency. However, when they explained it would take that long for an appointment they also offered me a referral to someone else if I needed help in a hurry. I like these folks!

Everything was excellent. Aspen Hill squeezed us into the schedule on late notice. Sam did a proficient job of removing the clog. It did take some serious work to solve the problem. Very happy and will call the company back to deal with a slow bathtub drain.

They put in a new faucet for me. He explained everything for me. They are very helpful and thorough. I was really happy with their work. I want to get some new faucets for my bath tub and he helped me go on line to show me some recommendations.

Rich arrived promptly between 7-8 am on a Friday morning. He is knowledgeable, professional, and personable. My shower drain is easy to access but in a very tight spot and the nut holding the drain wouldn't budge. To state the obvious, removing the old drain was difficult. He thought the molten lead which sealed the drain must have bonded the nut to the threads. But its been there for almost 50 years so who knows. In any event, he had to cut the drain off which he did skillfully as any mistakes would ruin the shower pan. And cost me more money to fix. Thankfully he was able to remove the old shower drain and install a new one without any problems. My wife loves the look of the new drain and I'm happy because it doesn't leak all over my basement. I am a very satisfied customer. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend Aspen Hill Plumbing. I can't comment on cost as the bill hasn't arrived yet.

EXCELLENT! I could not be happier with the work that Aspen Hill plumbers did. Dave came out to my home on short notice to provide an estimate. Because my schedule was tight, he arranged to arrive early, and when I say early, I mean early. He was at my home at 6 am, ready to do a walk through and provide an estimate. He arrived on time and the fact that he was willing to come out so early so that he could meet my scheduling demands, earned Aspen Hill extra points. After receiving the estimate, I decided that Aspen Hill was the right team for the job. Their costs were extremely reasonable and did not nickel and dime on an hourly rate. The estimate was for the work to be done with no expectations otherwise. I also had Dave do an estimate for the installation of a second hose bib at the rear of my house. I was planning to do this up until the last minute when I decided I just didn't want to rip up any more walls. Aspen Hill didn't have a problem with my change to the job. Dave's team began their work on the gas line. Their work was clean and efficient and I cannot begin to describe how perfect the end product looks. Many friends have been amazed at how perfect the gas line looks. You can honestly hardly see it unless you are looking. Dave's team was able to run the line butted up against the overhang of the siding all the way around the house from the front right corner to the back deck. It is really a work of art! Additionally, Aspen Hill should be praised for their willingness to come back out once my grill was delivered. It was supposed to be onsite the day of the gasline install, but there was a delay from the store. They were then going to attach the grill to the line on the day of the inspection, but once again it was not delivered. Dave arranged to have one of his plumbers come out at no extra cost to do the hookup once it did physically arrive. They also installed the pipework for the addition of a laundry tub and faucet in my laundryroom as well as a new hose bib and cutoff valve. There was no cutoff on the line previously and I was concerned about the pipes freezing over the winter. It was all so professionally installed and could not have been done any better. Because they had to get into the walls and tore out some drywall in the process, they only installed the pipework on their first visit, enabling me to do the drywall work prior to the inspection on the gasline. At the time of the gasline inspection, they then hooked up the physcial tub (sink) and faucet. I am so happy with the way everything turned out. The Aspen Hill Plumbing team is professional, courteous, friendly, punctual, and got their work done perfectly. They have earned my business for life and I highly recommend them to anyone needing any type of plumbing work!!!

We were very happy to have chosen Aspen Hill Plumbing. Rich came performed the install and was very quick. We hit it off nicely. He had a very easy going demeanor. He answered my questions on how to install the stove.

Superb. We've had plumbing work done at several properties for a few decades. This is BY FAR the best plumbing outfit that we've seen for significant remodel / construction / renovation work. BY FAR. Cannot be stressed enough how good their work has been and how reasonable their estimates and bills have come in. Service, competency, troubleshooting, thinking outside the box, and delivery...all top notch. We asked them to do every type of work that you would expect of a plumbing service and they did them all very, very well.

The key element was to examine the current washing machine drain hook-up and to make recommendations to bring it up to code. The manager came out to the house himself to take a look and make sure he understood the problem before making an estimate. The estimate was reasonable and so I had to work done. They did a good job. All workers were polite and knowledgable.

It went well. However, there was a miscommunication between 2 plumbers that resulted in some flooding. Aspen Hill Plumbing offered to fix the minor ceiling damage using either a drywall laborer of my choice or theirs. I chose their drywall person who fixed the problem for us.

The owners were very responsive, both through e-mail and phone. They were fast, effective, cheap, and professional. Is someone looking for something else?

After about 14 years our water heater failed and we needed a replacement ASAP. Work was completed on short notice and done expertly and efficiently in a couple of hours. Tom and Nick were great and easy to work with. Would absolutely use them again for plumbing work.

We were remodeling our kitchen and decided to do it on a DIY reality TV show. Brian, the plumber who did most of the work, was great - polite, easy to work with, timely and funny. He did an excellent job of working around the film crew yet just going about his business. I also appreciated at times when he had to be quiet that he looked into another persistent issue with a radiator upstairs that just won't work for some reason. As with other plumbers he wasn't able to get to the bottom of it (we need to pull down some walls to figure it out but we're not ready for that), but I liked that he sought out ways to stay busy. The inspector decided his "TV persona" was to be a stickler when he came, but he could find nothing wrong with the plumbing/mechanical work. When installing the radiator, the location needed to be moved over a few inches due to the location of the beams downstairs. Brian seemed genuinely sad that he couldn't make it have straight legs so that they could have the matching covers on them. We're still blissful about how much better that radiator fit into our kithchen that other options so a few extra inches of pipe seems like the least of our concerns. After the cabinets went in, Aspen Hill came back to install all the water lines, connect the stove, put on the faucet etc. Understandably, a junior member of the Aspen Hill team came to do this work and there were a few things that were just a little off about it. I'm not sure we would have even called to have them come back and fix most these things (the faucet was turned a weird way, the caulking on the sink was a little sloppy), but Dave preemptively called the next day and asked if he could stop by to double check the work. When we got home all the little things were fixed. The stove, which initially didn't fit into it's home (oops, I mis-measured), was a double oven and required a specific location for the gas line that was on the other side from where they put it. Dave had someone come back to move that once we made room and we were all set. The only part that seemed a little disorganized was that two people apparently share the responsibility for scheduling. When we initially called/emailed one responded to each inquiry. When we were figuring out when/whether Brian needed to come back we got two different calls about it. In the end, I'd rather get two than none, so it's not a major complaint as far as I'm concerned.

Went very smooth. They did the work as contracted and were very prompt. They returned phone calls very promptly.

Aspen Hill Plumbing are extremely responsive. They handle their business through email, which is extremely convenient for myself and my husband who are both online all the time for our jobs. They are responsive and very professional.

Spoke with James and told him the problem. Quoted us a price and sent out one of him team that same day - on time as promised. Even better...the work was excellent and the quote was right on! These guys are wonderful and I would DEFINITELY call them and recommend them for any plumbing problem you might encounter.

I am very pleased with them and will absolutely call to have Tom come back for any future work we need done.

Rich from AspenHill came on Monday 7am, and was very prompt. He determined that it was probably the elements that had gone bad but that the didn't have them and would have to pick them up. I scheduled with Dave (the owner) for him to come back the next day at 7am again. Tuesday 7am Rich was back and replaced the elements. It was obvious that at least one had gone bad. So we thought the problem was fixed. I got notice from my tenants late Tuesday night that there was still a problem and Wednesday am called AspenHill again. Rich came out again on Thursday. This time I stayed home from work (worked from home) so that the time was more flexible and Rich would have plenty of time to look at the problem. He checked everything. From the plastic pipe in the tank that is supposed to keep the cold and hot water separate, to the valves, to the temperature switches. Finally after calls with Dave he determined that the only thing to do was to get me a new hot water heater. Disappointed I decided if we were going to get a new one, we might as well get a 40 gal one (this one was 30) so that hopefully that was not part of the issue. Rich measured, said it would fit. And determined he could come back on Saturday at 8am! Saturday Rich was ontime. He replaced the hot water heater in the 2 hrs he had estimated it would take. Upon finding out it would take 2 hrs for the water to heat up - we both left. He gave me his phone number and we agreed that I would check the water around 4pm (it was about 11am at this time) and let him know if there was hot water. At 4pm, I checked the water and it was ice cold! At least with the old water heater they had some hot water! not there was none! I called Rich and he was over in about 20 min. There was a reset button that he pushed on the thermostat. We also checked all of the wiring and it looked okay (I'm an electrical engineer - so at this point, I was checking all of the wiring!). However, all of a sudden you could feel the pipe was getting warm. And we checked the water and there was some heat. I'm thinking it was the reset button - and it should have been pushed before he left the first time - but no one knew! We waited about 20 min and checked the water again - lo and behold there was hot water! Hopefully my tenants get to take hot showers... In all -- Rich was on-time, professional, patient (man it took so many visits!), and I would use and recommend Aspen Plumbing to anyone. I have yet to find out what they are charging me however :)
