My kitchen is simply beautiful!!. I cant believe it's the same kitchen. The cabinets are so spacious and of great quality. This has been a wonderful experience. The crew worked harder that anyone I have seen in a very long time. I am going to use Arora again for another project. We had gotten numerous estimates and the estimate we received from Arora was by far the best. Mr. Rajiv was a great help. He would ask me if this was a want or a need. It helped me focus on what was really important. I highly recommend them!!

My new kitchen is simply BEAUTIFUL. The estimate I received from Arora Remodeling was MUCH lower than the other three, including the big box home improvement store! They were professional, quick and efficient! I had a brand new kitchen in a matter of five days and it is gorgeous. The laminate floors, the granite counter tops, cabinets and lazy suzan and install of all of the new appliances! They are honest and told me where I did not need to spend money. I even offered to pay everything up front and Mr. Rajiv was honest and told me, never do that. What if I took your money and never come back? He was simply amazing and his crew was awesome!

You could not find a better contractor than Arora Remodeling. My breezeway is simply beautiful! They laid the tile and installed a beautiful ceiling fan and new doors and just like that, I have a beautiful oasis to relax with a cup of tea and a good book. Mr. Rajiv is not only professional, he is a kind, compassionate Christian man who is extremely honest. He checks on the crew daily from start to finish and after they are finished, you have a whole year to contact them with ANYTHING that goes wrong! Definitely call Arora for your remodeling needs!

I competed contractor for work and Arora Remodeling was best in regards to cost, schedule and performance. It was projected that the project would take two to three weeks; however, Arora Remodeling completed the job in seven days. The experience working with Arora Remodeling was the best I ever seen. The is above reproach! I will recommend Arora Remodeling anytime!!

I'm writing this review as a warning to others. Do your homework and get other estimates. Arora may provide good service, however we did not hire them to tile a small bathroom in a rental property as their quote was ridiculously high. We received a quote of $3,500 to tile a 5' x 8' bathroom; tub/shower area and floor only, a total of 78 SF. All Durock installation and prep work by others, so tile installation, only. At the prevailing Davis Bacon wage rate: TILE SETTER......................$ 14.50 that equals 241 hours or 6 forty-hour work weeks (or, $44.87 SF!!). Due to their quote, Arora eliminated themselves from a major kitchen renovation and master bath remodel we have slated for the near future. Angie List members, do your due diligence and get additional estimates.

It went amazingly. The end product was better than we could have imagined. We DEFINITELY will use them again when we are ready for the basement work to be done. The entire process was simple, straightforward, and painless. Everything was discussed up front so there were no surprises. In the end, the design picture he gave us at the start did not do the end product justice! There are NO words to describe the transformation. Love this company

The workers did an excellent job. They moved and handled furniture and appliances really well. The actual contractor could have been more professional and punctual. Changes of what steps of the work would be performed and when (removing part of/all the carpet; leaving everything without beginning next step until the next day etc.) were made last minute.

Overall a good job was done. Arora provided a 2 person crew. They did a great job with removing two layers of flooring, ceramic tile with leveler compound and nailed backer board then lineoleum tiles glued to sub floor underneath. They also removed cabinets and appliances so I could donate them. They were able to ensure new wood floors were installed and level with the existing wood floors in adjacent rooms. Crew was skilled with carpentry work and detail work on installing cabinets. Same for the ceramic tile that was installed for the backsplash. Total job took six weeks, with work performed by Arora 4 of those 6 weeks; the two weeks in between they were on another job while the granite and appliances were delivered and installed. Needed a licensed electrician for the final box and tandem circuit installation although Arora would have attempted to install, however I was charged the rate for a licensed electrician and one was needed; short cuts were not acceptable for the successful final install and operation of a high end appliance. I had to bring in an electrician bc Arora could not call one in who was available to do the job and he adjusted the cost for this. This job was slightly different than what Arora does; he's normally a one-stop company where you could select from his stock cabinets, granite and flooring providers. Only complaints were a schedule was not provided with a general idea of what kinds of work would be done even in the course of a week. This was important since I purchased everything but nails/screws, electrical line, below sink plumbing, 6-7 electrical boxes, caulk, recessed light can, so making sure my items were out and ready for them to install along with a discussion of specific detail work was a necessity, but ignored to my frustration. If I just had an idea a day or two in advance I could prepare and make sure I had all the material needed. Asked for and not provided. I took telework days that turned into vacation days because the work they came to do was not what or when I expected, if I was short some material I had to run to the store to purchase something. Floors were not completely protected after they were installed after Arora told me he would put paper down when they were done with its install, instead pieces of the cardboard boxes the cabinets came in were taped down; I had to tape additional pieces for protection for when the granite and appliance installers came in. Clean up at the end of the work day would have been nice but I should have insisted on this rather than expecting it based on my last remodel experience. The kitchen may have been a construction zone as Arora pointed out on their last day, but it's still a room in the middle of my house. Running a shop vac every few days rather than letting it all pile up to clean at the end would have been preferred and what was done by other contractors during my basement remodel. Also clean up at the end really wasn't. No shop vac or cleaning materials arrived with the cleaning crew. Other than special cleaner for the eucalyptus flooring I provided, I expected my wood cabinets to be wiped down of weeks of drywall dust, and tiny paint spakels on the floor and granite to be scraped up by them. I ended up scraping with my fingernails and plastic edge to get them up, and cleaning cabinets with oil soap and counter tops with cleaner and using my household vacuum and a new dust mop, which they had to use after I explained they just couldn't spray a dirty floor down and use a dust mop and make it clean. Need a vacuum dust mop or trash bags? I provided those and don't understand for the $21K paid why these materials aren't part of Arora's standard process. Went cheap on the recessed light and was initially told to put a bigger bulb in so I wouldn't see the instructions that were not concealed because there was no baffle inside the can. Arora offered good suggestions but sometimes not receptive to specific detailing I requested. We were able to work it out, any mistakes made were noted and corrected, detailing I requested was installed (tile to ceiling on one wall, and leg detailing at bottom of semi-custom cabinetry purchased). Also not very positive about the cabinets or appliances I purchased (Starmark cabinetry and Wolf appliances) and tried to talk me into cancelling the purchases; I was very clear about what I needed done and my vision of the final outcome. Maybe at the end he said his crew said they were pretty nice quality cabinets and appliances and it looked good. It's been a month and everything is holding up well. Except the corner of the step where wood was installed with glue instead of nailed and has come off and I will need to figure out how to fix that since the wood is pretty dense and really needs a good nail to go back in. Could only load one picture initially so one picture below is a collage, hopefully you can see the progression of work Arora performed. Bottom line, I got my vision of a new kitchen that I am enjoying and using.
Description of Work: Labor needed to install kitchen cabinets, flooring, lights. Contractor provided labor for installation of flooring, carpentry, plumbing, some electrical, painting, ceramic tile install and removal of existing cabinets, appliances, and two layers of flooring. Also provided two new ceiling lights, moved a kitchen eating area light, ran electrical for dedicated 20 amp line for induction cooktop, under cabinets lights, re-ran electrical for new island, replaced electrical outlet covers light switches and reinstalled hot water dispenser, water purification and faucet. To be clear, for price paid owner (me) separately purchased and provided semi custom cabinets, flooring, tiles, grout, paint, lighting, cabinet knobs and pulls, replacement outlet and light switches/ covers, and coordinated installation of new appliances and countertops by separate vendors.

I got an estimate from them but I didn't go with them because they're just too pushy. They were trying to force me to make a quick decision. I guess the experience on the estimate was okay, but I just felt like one bathroom was supposed to be like a closet bathroom and I just felt that $15,000 was too high. I didn't use them, so I wouldn't know about their quality.
Description of Work: This was for an estimate. The total estimate was for $25,000. One bathroom was like $10,000 and another bathroom was a little bit more than that - I think it maybe was $15,000.

I scheduled and confirmed an appointment for an estimate for a kitchen remodel at an investment property. The property is 70+ minutes drive from my home. I was at the property well in advance of the agreed time. I waited a full 90 minutes from the appointment time until I finally gave up. I called the contractor at one point and was promised an update. I never received a call back and when I tried calling again I went directly to voicemail. I eventually received an email stating that no one would be coming and I should go home. That email did not contain even a perfunctory apology.

The experience of having our kitchen remodeled with new flooring exceeded all of our expectations. From the time of our first meeting to discuss the remodel to the completion of the remodel, we were completely satisfied. Because of the experience our contractor had with remodeling, we were given good advice about how to open up our space in our kitchen by moving our refrigerator to the opposite side of the kitchen. It appeared to us that the execution of the remodel went flawlessly and was completed in a short amount of time.
