+ -1 moreMy experience with AC Chimney went very well. I am not certain that I am going to hire them - the price they quoted me *might be on the high side. However, they were very professional and efficient. They gave a detailed estimate for repairs v. replacement but did not load it up with confusing jargon. They at least seem like they are trying to do honest work.

Description of Work: We live in a 30-year old 3-story townhome with a fireplace on the lower level where my elderly mother stays. Last week we began having flies in the house and a bad smell coming from the fireplace. Our sweep was no help. They charged us to come out but did nothing saying we had to replace the entire fireplace and chimney for $7K. I called other sweeps and pest controllers but no one was able to help except AC Chimney. Alex arrived on time with his team and a plan. Within two hours they removed a dead bird and a baby raccoon, inspected and replaced the rusty old damper, cleaned and sanitized the fireplace and chimney, installed a cap with screen to prevent animals from getting in. Alex did what others said couldn’t be done. He was polite and professional and took the time to walk me thru the process from start to finish. The cost was 1/4 of the cost to replace the entire system. AC will be our new sweep from now on.
