+ -1 moreWhile the staff of this company was pleasant to work with and professional, the service they provide seems to be a waste of money. We had them do their bedbug treatment but when we continued to have issues with the bugs we conferred with other companies. What we heard from those other companies was that the chemical used by this company, while environmentally friendly, does not actually kill the bugs but rather encourages their migration to other parts of the house. In addition, the chemical used is one that is bad for animals and therefore the bug sniffing dogs that other companies use to ensure the bugs are gone cannot enter a room where this chemical has been used for at least 30 days. We ended up feeling like we'd wasted our money on this service and had to pay an additional $2000 for a full-house heat treatment in the end.
Description of Work: They treated one room in the house with chemicals to get rid of bed bugs.

+ -1 moreA Healthy Home did every room. Part of the deal was that they would come back as long as you call back within a certain time-frame. They actually did come back because some eggs had hatched and they sprayed again and we haven't had a problem for over a month now. They are the ones who did the follow up calls and scheduled the next appointment.

+ -1 moreWe hatd been getting bed bugs bites and trying the home remedies for a couple of months before calling around. He offers a 1 month warranty (hard to find) and was reasonably priced (though not the cheapest; be wary of those). David is the bed bug expert, he devotes his life to studying them and how to get rid of them. He is obsessed! Most places treated your entire home and made you throw out mattresses/clothes but he had a much more effective, simple approach. I was VERY skeptical but he performed his magic and after the standard 4 treatments included in the price for a couch we had gotten bites on and the entire bedroom the bites stopped. He did have to come back one more during the warranty period after I saw one dead on the wall where he recommended we remove a 8X10 rug out of the "ring of fire" and they were lost and gone forever. A miracle!
