Chris and Ron were very punctual and courteous. They arrived at the earlier portion of the time window they told me about. They immediately recognized the problem, went to work and were done in less than 30 minutes. Great service, great technicians, I will always go to 495 garage door for any concerns and future repairs. Great work!!!!

The technician showed up right on time, explained what he was going to do, and went to work. I was afraid he'd find additional work that was needed, but replacing the rollers (included in the contract) fixed the problem and the door now works fine!

495 Garage Door came out on a Friday and took measurements and spoke with us about all our different options. We decided we were going to replace the door but that we were in a rush to have this fixed. They were able to accommodate my timing and put us on their schedule for 3 days later. Our technician, Eli, came out and he did a wonderful job. In total it to him, alone, about 2.5 hours and he did a marvelous job. Everything looks very precise and the work was completed very efficiently. We are very satisfied with this work and would recommend this company to anyone needing to have their garage door adjusted or replaced.

The purpose of this letter is to formally and publicly commend Ron of 495 Garage Doors for the excellent service he provided in fixing my two garage doors. The level of service was far beyond my expectations. He was friendly, timely and most importantly a wealth of knowledge. I have never before written a letter like this on an entirely unsolicited basis. However, in this case I was so impressed by the service provided by Ron, I felt compelled to go on record with my praise as he truly deserves a commendation. In an era where exceptional one-to-one customer service excellence has virtually disappeared the work that Ron did should be held up as an example for others to try to emulate. What particularly impressed me about the level of service provided by Ron was that there were no hidden costs or fees. It appears that it was simply his extraordinary commitment to excellence in customer service and support that motivated him to do a good job! My door, which is fairly new, was loud and it shook while closing. The gentleman who came out, Ali I think, was very courteous and explained what he would be doing. I also asked him about one of the lights on the door opener that was not working. I had to leave to pick up my son from school, but I returned 30 minutes later and he was done. All rollers were replaced, and he showed me everywhere he oiled. He also fixed the light that was not working (we knew it was not the light bulb). It was a simple replacement of the piece that the light bulb screws into. All in all, it went extremely well, for a great price, and a quick turn-around. The total was about $130. I will have them come out again every year or so to keep up with the maintenance.

We called Friday morning and they were able to come at 2PM the same day. The door is an all-wood door and they did not have the proper part to repair. However, the tech was able to raise the door (with my help) such that we could get both cars out. They special ordered the proper size replacement springs and came back to install them. The springs came in earlier than they quoted. They came in late in the evening (7PM) to do the final install, which we appreciated to get our door functional as quickly as possible. They were professional and helpful.

They were phenomenal. Li was really good. The service guy knew a lot and troubleshooted. He made good recommendations.

They installed new unit as scheduled, charging a fair price for labor. Unit works fine. 495 made all the adjustments necessary to link garage door opener with my car.

The technician could not explain what he did maintenance wise to the garage door. He said look at the online offer. Before he left my wife had troubles getting the garage door to close, he told her it was fine and left. The following night the garage door opened on its own and would not close. We called the next morning and asked for someone to come out since it never did this before their technician worked on the door. They said they were busy but would try to have some one come out. We were upset since the door now was either open or we had to disconnect the motor and manually lower he door; and could not use the garage access. We waited all day but no one came and later that afternoon they sent us an email with "common fixes" which did not apply to what they had done. They told us the soonest they could come was the day after Thanksgiving. Over two weeks later. We could not wait that long to have this fixed so we hired another company recommended by Angies List to come fix what this company had messed up. They never called us back to follow up or check in. 495-you can drop the appointment for 11/25/16. We were very disappointed.

Very well! They were good at communicating the time they would come, they were on time, the work was done well and they followed up without costing more when there was an issue with work that was under the six-month warranty. I highly recommend them.

Ron showed up on time with a smile and fixed the springs on my garage door. Very prompt and courteous service and I would recommend them to anyone.

I purchased an Angie's list offer so that I would have a fixed price for the work up front. It went well. Contacted right away to set up appointment. Good communication on the day of the service about some unexpected delays. Technician explained everything and made final balance adjustments so that garage door would stay at any height.

Came on time and performed all the work. Opening and closing is much quieter and smooth. Made lubrication recommendations to keep the door in proper working condition

There was this loud rattling noise at the end of the garage door, right after the technician left. Unlike the bit of his bizarre rhetoric when we recalled them to fix it, it ultimately did a good job. They were expensive. I would probably not use them again.

Poorly. I found the company on amazon home services and they bis on the job for $55.00. I passed up several offers from Angie's list for $169-$179 for both springs installed including springs and found that my estimate for $55 soon became $635. The sales rep sold me pulley wheels at $25/each and 4 per door and the costs of the springs were $85. These springs were not torsion springs but expansion springs. Expansion springs are cheaper and I went looking for them at Home Depot and found the most expensive to be $39.99 and they are even cheaper on Amazon. The pulleys are so cheap on Amazon that they are an add on item.

They were quick, efficient, and fixed the problem within 20 minutes. They did not leave a mess. I was very satisfied with the experience.

It was great. They were good about walking through my possibilities. I bought a more basic garage door and they called me back later that night. I loved their work, their technicians seemed to be good, and quick. It wasn't completely clear when they would show up. We thought there was a two hour window and they thought there was an eight hour window, or an six hour window. I think it could have been a little bit clearer. I was very happy with them.
