Great! Rick also lubed and service our second garage door While he was here and reprogrammed the outside key pad to work on that second second garage door at no additional cost. Replacement of the the first garage door opener went perfect! Would definitely use him again.

Called Rick to discuss replacing two garage doors and openers on my garage. Rick asked me to visit their website and pick out what I was interested in and asked I call him back with the information. Upon calling Rick back with the doors I'd picked out and openers he said he wasn't sure he was interested in the job and that he'd call me back. As you'd guess I never heard back. Expected a lot more fromAffordable Garage Doors based on all the positive reviews on Angie's List.

I spoke to Rick Davis and asked if he installed garage door weatherstripping. Even though weatherstripping is a simple and common garage door accessory he didn't know what I was talking about. I had to explain it to him. He is very difficult to talk to and deal with and is incompetent. I don't see how he could possibly get good reviews unless the customers are clueless.

we called on Tuesday, Rick asked some questions and provided a quote to fix the current garage door opener (the board that handled the remotes was likely not working). He also provided a quote to replace it with the Liftmaster model that he installs. We went with the new install which he did the next day. Said he'd be there between 8-11, got there about 8:45 and was done by 9:30 or 10. Part of the original unit was still working fine (seeing eye that determines if something is blocking the door) so he left that in and gave us the part in a box if it fails.

technician came but my door was bowed due to prior damage. He could not fix the sensors to operated correctly but offered a temporary solution which worked. He also showed me brochures for replacement of my current door which is wood and gave an estimate with options. A very nice and pleasant but professional technician. Should I decide to purchase a garage door I will definitely consider Affordable Garages.

Still talking it over with the hubby - we aren't on the same page yet.

Contacted the business through Angie's List and the owner was extremely responsive. My garage door stopped working just as I had to leave town to attend to my daughter, who was in a hospital out of state. I contacted the business while out of state and based on my description, he determined that the springs were probably broken. While I was away, the owner stopped by the house and was able to determine what springs the door needed and made sure to have them on hand for our appointment the day after I returned home. While he had a prior appointment on the morning of my return, he made a point of coming to the house before his normal hours and made the repair. Thanks to the prior stop, he had the correct springs (he was correct -- they were both broken -- my bad for not realizing the first had broken some time before) and completed the repair in less than an hour. We are so thankful for his prompt service and the extra effort he made on our behalf. He was very courteous and very considerate given the ordeal we'd just been through. We highly recommend this wonderful firm!

He came out the day after his wife died and fixed my doors and cleaned up after himself. Couldn't be more pleased! Very nice guy. Would recommend him to everyone!

Rick told me he would be at my house and was on time even though the weather was bad and traffic was terrible. He had to build a platform to mount the new torsion springs and he installed the two doors, electric eyes, garage door opener exterior molding and ensured all controllers were programmed and the area cleaned up. Rick left me with two repeater controllers for use with my cars in the event I was not able to program the in-vehicle system. He provided me with a compete review of the system and answered all of my questions. The doors are a great upgrade from what we had previously which were contractor grade and allowed air to blow into the garage. Both my wife and I are extremely happy with our experience with this installation and would certaintly recommend this contractor for anyone who is looking to upgrade their garage doors.

He was excellent. He gave me information on the phone and gave me good advice. He came from Annapolis, about 45 minutes away and gave me a list of what needed to be done. The price includes the installation, the 2 remotes, keypad and belt drive to lift the door.

We called Affordable Garage Doors on the recommendation of our neighbor to look at the springs on our garage door. Affordable responded almost immediately. They came to look at the problem the next day, gave me an estimate on the cost to replace both springs on the door, and then ordered the parts. They also gave me an estimate on the time required to get the part and make the repairs. Every estimate was on point and they promptly came to make the repair. Communication was excellent--I never had to make a call to get additional information. They kept me informed on the parts order and the scheduling for the repairs. Everything went smoothly with the job and I would certainly recommend the company and use them again if the occasion arises.

He came over the same afternoon I called. He adjusted both garage doors and replaced a couple of pulleys. The doors are now much smoother and quieter!

Rick again showed up right on time, he explained everything that he fixed, programmed my key pad, and inspected the entire system. He cleaned the entire area and was finished quickly. ****** For anyone out there looking for an honest man to do an honest job I recommend Rick Davis. He could have easily told me that I needed a new garage door and I don't think I would have known the difference. The fact that he gave me the options instead of making a quick buck says a lot about this man's integrity. I will absolutely call him again for any repairs or maintenance I need. Thank you Rick.

It went well. He did all that was in the service deal, plus he added supports that he said were required for garage doors and he was surprised they were not there. He gave me 1/2 off for the supports.

The owner showed responded to my service inquiry within 2 hours of submitting it online and within 24 hours he was at my home providing me with an estimate. The window inserts that we wanted were not available in the doors he recommended so we chose another similar door. The estimated install date was approximately 2 weeks from receiving the estimate and within 3 days I received a call to see if we could do the work sooner since the doors were in stock. We set a date and the owner showed up promptly at 7:00 am as promised and began to work. The job was completed about 5 hours later with superb results. We love our new garage doors.

Repair was handled quickly & efficiently. Garage door got a "tune-up" and lubrication, while Mr. Davis was there. Got two service calls accomplished in one visit.

It could not have gone better. My garage door is so quiet now, I can hardly tell when it's opening and closing. Ben was quick, professional, cleaned up after himself, and was very courteous. I would call this company again in a heartbeat. Thank you!
