 + -1 moreWork went well - there was one small area of concern that we noticed after they left, but they were prompt in retuning to fix those areas. I have use this company previously and have always been satisfied with their work.

 + -1 moreWork went well and was completed relatively fast. Crew was very professional though I was only able to meet with them a few times as I was not home during day. They do their projects on time and material basis and some portions of house needed more work, so price was higher than expected before job. This was fair and reasonable, but provider's pre project estimate proved to be very low.
Description of Work: Exterior house painting - complete including soffits, siding, exterior windows and doors.

Description of Work: Greg's scheduler had agreed to an quote appointment. The scheduler called to say he was running 90 minutes late and after I expressed dismay due to my busy schedule she called him and then called be back. Greg had told her he did not want my business.

 + -1 moreThe difference with PWP is that you get to control the quality of work that they do. Because you are paying the crew by the hour, you can ask them to do more--or less-- in different areas. While the crew was on the ladders on the third floor attic windows, it was no problem to have them recaulk and clean those windows while they were up there. I also had them paint more of the foundation. If they were working on a set price, I couldn't have done that.
Description of Work: Painting with Pride did an amazing job on the exterior of my house. My house was built in 1929 and has redwood siding and had a lot of peeling paint. PWP did the work by the hour rather than for a set price-- so when it was obvious that my house needed more scraping and sanding before it was painted, they were able to spend the time to do it right. The other estimates were for a set price so they tried to estimate how much scraping and prep work would be needed. That is hard to do with an old house. Greg gave me an estimate of the time but after they scraped and hand washed the house, a lot more paint started to peel off. It was really great to be able to say yes, scrape it again rather than just having paint over the peeling paint. The crew worked hard through the terrible heat wave we had this summer. Even with 90 to 100 degree heat those guys keep working away. The crew boss,Evaristo and his team were very professional and easy to have around the house. It was not easy to have workers at the house for 3 weeks, but the workers were very polite and cleaned up at the end of day. PWP also arranged for a great discount from /Sherwin Williams for the paint which saved us a lot of money on great paint. I'd recommend this company for sure. My old house looks brand new! We just had a family reunion and my 90 year old father who lived here before me was so pleased and impressed with how great the old house looked. Thank you Greg and your great crew!

 + -1 moreWe always use this company and they are terrific. We have a part brick and part wood house. When we bought the house in 2004, we had to get it painted and we shopped around. They had at that time, the best price that we could find. They came out and did a fantastic job. We have used them every time we have had painting, about 6 times.

Description of Work: We have used PWP consistently over the past 15 years. They have painted every surface in our house at least once, inside and out. They are aways totally professional, high quality, and good to work with. We don't call anyone else. At first, I was concerned about hourly pricing. But once you trust any contractor, then hourly pricing is best for both the customer and the company.

 + -1 moreContractor solicited job with "special rate", however it turned out to be the usual hourly rate. I had no problem with that had they completed the job and completely cleaned up. This turned into a two day affair. The first day one of the contractors could not be on the job on time as was attending to a personal matter. In general the quality of the work was good. However they failed to paint the wall outlet covers and left them in a pile as well as got paint drips on the windows. When I contacted the owner he said that they would have gladly painted the covers had we asked but that it is too late now. We of course did not know that at the time and considered it to be part of the job. So I am left with painting them myself as well as cleaning the windows. I will pay this contractor but will never use again.
