Carolyn Wentz went above & beyond to find me the house I wanted. I was probably her most difficult client to date as far as what I wanted for what price. I had been working with her since late September and closed on my house in late February! Together we saw probably over 70 houses until I found the one I wanted. I didn't know what I wanted at first so it took me probably 30 houses to understand my true wants & requirements. She is very knowledgeable about the Anne Arundel & Howard County areas and knows a lot of people that help with plumbing, electrical, structural engineering & financing options. I used her recommended mortgage broker Larry Roussil who was excellent & gave me a great rate & explained everything to me that I didn't understand. Carolyn went above & beyond to make herself available to me. I was always able to see the houses I wanted when I wanted, even at night on weekdays & during the weekends. Once I was under contract, she even went to the house without me being there to get a structural engineer to check the roof, HVAC company to get an estimate, the plumber to de-winterize the house, the appraiser for the bank. I wasn't there because I lived in Arlington & worked in Falls Church & it was difficult for me to schedule to drive 40 minutes to the house for all these things. She had no issue going there on my behalf to see that these items were done. What agent does things like this? Not many! She even helped me fix some of the issues that failed appraisal (siding & electrical plates on the walls). And after settlement she still asks me how my house is going (it is a foreclosure so I have been gutting the floors & painting the walls) and she even came over a couple times to help me prep the floors for some carpeting & hardwoods!
