Bryan and his team did a wonderful job on our front walkway and steps. They came in right on estimated costs and were even able to have the job scheduled and completed within 2 weeks of signing the contract. Very professional work and highly recommend. Pennie was also very communicative and a pleasure to work with as well!

Bryan is great until he gets the job and then he has absolutely no customer service skills. His crew repeatedly left our gate open and our dogs got out twice. I asked them three times to make sure the gate was closed behind them and to let me know if I needed to shut the dogs in the house. When I called to express my concerns Bryan never called back. His support staff said he would stop by to talk to me and he never showed up. His crew was also playing loud music in the backyard so loud I was worried about disturbing the neighbors. His support staff said when she told him he stated he gave them the speaker and it was not loud. I got news for him it was and a neighbor complained. He's a horrible business man. I do need to say the work was done as agreed. I will never do business with him again not because of the quality of his crews work but because of his poor response to my concerns. It's a good thing my dogs did not get hit by a car!!

I called two weeks ago and was told that 'Brian' would call me the following week. Just called back. The woman told me that she needed to find the piece of paper that she wrote my info on. I asked her if she had even told 'Brian' I needed an estimate and she indicated she had not because I had such a small job. I told her I'd go elsewhere and she said fine.

Excellent job! Couldn't be happier with the quality and cost. Very professional. Left the lawn looking good. They could have been more responsive but they were in the middle of an audit and they only have one person running the office. After the audit the responsiveness was fine.

My experience with BC Bassford was horrible, they put my project behind schedule by 8-10 weeks and were very unreliable and failed to show or honor their commitments on a regular basis. The crew would routinely stash their trash inside the block walls as they were building, and even urinated in bottles and left them in my backyard. The equipment used by the mason were in bad repair and leaked oil severely all over my driveway. My foundation ended up being out of square and has already started to crack in several places. We discovered after the ground settled that they failed to properly waterproof the foundation and I have been battling water issues in the new basement. Bryan the owner also fabricated "extra" charges and threatened a mechanics lien if his charges were not paid. I am in the process of reporting this company to the BBB.

I didn't go anywhere. Very frustrating.

We scheduled "Bryan" to come out and take a look at our project, which was a rather simple and straightforward one. Bryan I agreed on the task to be done, and I was told an estimate would be forthcoming. A few days later, we received an estimate I felt was a bit too high, but I felt comfortable with the contractor who was very nice and whose admin office was very responsive to my queries. However, I noticed that the estimate had our address wrong, and the dimensions needed to cut into the concrete (listed as 2'x2') were off by an inch or two. I emailed back with the installation instructions and just clarified that instead of 2'x2', it would be 22" by 26". I figured this would be no big deal and shouldn't change anything. However, the reply I got back was that now suddenly there are too many "liability issues" and he should have estimated me over $1000 (even though the job hadn't changed at all, except for give or take two inches). I asked for clarification about the sudden "liability issues" and was simply ignored after that. I ended up finding another company (LMS Contracting, Inc) do to it for $700, and they did it quickly and excellently. So, at first I had the warm fuzzies about B.C. Bassford due to their initial professionalism, but that didn't last too long. It turned out all for the best that I used another company.

Bassford was professional in their approach, through but the in end the price quote was in my opinion too high.
