The work itself went very well. The installer was very professional and did a quality job. My only difficulty was in the scheduling and communication. The installer was scheduled to arrive on a Wednesday before a holiday, but I got no word when they did not show at the scheduled time. At that point no one answered their phone because everyone had left for the holiday. The installer finally showed up more than 2 hours late but I sent him away because it was too late to complete the job before dark. When I finally got in touch with the office, they were very apologetic and agreed to accommodated my schedule for the install. A supervisor came out the day of the install to discuss the poor communication and make sure I was satisfied with the job. All went well after that. Were it not for the poor communications I would have rated this company "Excellent".

Description of Work: Replaced all of front roof and some rotten plywood because of leaks. Will have to see how it holds up in the next few months. They repaired leaks in 2012, but they did not hold. I can't rate them on quality at this time. The work was done in 2 days and looks very nice.

Mike from Roof Pro and his crew did an excellent job of tiling our basement floor. Everything was prompt and quite professional. The job was superbly done, right down to replacing the floorboards, and they did a great job in cleanup as well. We highly recommend them!

Roof-Pro?s owner Tim gave me an estimate for repairing a leak in my roof. After evaluating his cost estimated for repairing the leak, I requested an estimate for replacing all of the shingles on the roof. Tim stated that most of the under boards/plywood on the roof appeared to be in good shape. I asked for an estimate for putting new shingles on the entire roof ( the old shingles were not applied properly by a previous roofing company, less than 10 years ago, and not in good shape). This estimate appeared to be reasoingable, so I decided to have new shingles applied to the entire roof. Tim did tell me that the price did not include any rotten wood that needed to be replaced, once the old shingles were removed. On the day the work crews come to apply the new shingles and fix the leak, they discovered that all of the boards/wood under the old shingles were defective and needed to be replaced. This increased the cost of the roof by $2100. The crew worked deligently all day and into the darkness to complete the job. Once I saw the roof in full day light, I noticed several defects. These defects included raised edges, uneven shingle placement, and overall poor looking workmenship in the area of the leak, as well as in the area of the joining Townhouse. The front of the new roof was not in sync with the back of the roof. I called Roof-Pro,and e-mailed photos to let them know that I was not satisfied with the roof. Tim came out and fixed the problems and took care of most of my concerns. However, my major concern was the lack of an accurate assessment of the condition of the roof during the initial estimate by the owner of the company.
Description of Work: Roof-Pro's owner Tim did what I thought, was a very complete assessment, and evaluation of the condition of my roof. We discussed the pros and cons of repairing the current leak, and the condition of the entire roof. However, on the day the work was scheduled to begin both the assessment of the condition of the roof, and the cost of the roof project changed from the original estimate .

At first they were very friendly. The man across the street from me, whom I rely on for references, he watched them while they worked and thought they look professional. The salesman named Bradley seemed knowledgeable. They showed me samples of the product. Now, however, I?m worried about the roof because it is leaking in the same spot. The plaster has cracked open again. Update as of 9-16-2013 They did come back and repair the ceiling but since then it has cracked and is leaking again. They said that they found a leaking seal somewhere above the ceiling. The water no longer comes down inside my house but it is still leaking on the porch. After it began leaking again, I called them and they told me that the water was coming up from the ground. They are saying that this is not a result of their work and that they never worked on the ceiling of the front porch, and told me to provide paperwork stating that they had worked on the ceiling of the porch. They have refused to come back out and repair the work unless I can show them paperwork.
Description of Work: They installed a roof for me. My roof was leaking and it was coming into the house. They called me and said they were on Angie’s List. Now my roof is leaking. I have called them and they said they were going to look up my paperwork and get back to me.

The work was done on the front and back of low sloping roof areas. I was hoping that the major patch job that Roof Pro did would not show much. It served the purpose, but, until the new shingles age, the difference between the new and old shingles is somewhat noticable. My mistake, not theirs. Do get lots of estimates. Prices vary widely.
Description of Work: Replaced three skylights and resealed three others. Installed new 25-year shingles in front and back of house about 7" up from the gutters. Installed drip edge and ice and water shield.

Roof Pro responded very quickly to our request for an assessment and quotes. The 20 year old roof was leaking at several flashing points, and the shingles were worn and mildewed. Roof Pro gave us quotes to repair the leaking areas as well as replace the entire roof. We have a large house with separate roof areas, and the $10,000 price was quite reasonable, so we elected full replacement. We scheduled the job in early January and Roof Pro completed the job in one day with a crew of four men. They brought their own dumpster and cleaned up as they went along. When they were done, they very meticulously cleaned up any debris from the mulch and planting beds and left the premises very neat. When we were dissatisfied with the pattern mix of the shingles in a couple of areas, which left some all dark and all light areas, they assured us they would be corrected. Winter weather required several reschedules, but the work was completed in March to our satisfaction. Everything was handled with professionalism. We would definitely recommend them.

Overall, a great experience. Even though it wasn't a big job, they did it quickly and efficiently.
Description of Work: I used this company last year to inspect my roof after the hurricane. They told me that my roof looked fine, but that my vent boot collars needed to be replaced because they were rusted through. They even took a picture of it with their camera phone AND showed me the boot collars after performing the work. I was pretty impressed with the professionalism and the quality of work done. They did the work right on the spot and did not have to come back. Too bad I didn't know about Angie's list last year, or I would have written this review then.

Roof Pro repaired shingles that had been blown off by a wind storm. When the repairman arrived, he quoted a $350 price, saying that's their minimum cost. Seriously?! To fix ~4 shingles that had blown off. Not gonna happen. He went down to $300, then $200, and finally $100. I was willing to pay $100, not $350. It took him less than 15 minutes to fix the shingles, and my roof looks like new. I've used them before and was happy when the work . I am still a satisfied customer. Just be clear on what an acceptable price is for you.

RoofPro did a wonderful job, on a very complex project involving an existing flat roof on our home, which had sprung a serious leak and had to be replaced. The project involved the installation of a "tapered" roof over the existing flat roof, by constructing a new slope on the roof; the construction of a low "wall" to hide the taper and preserve the horizontal roof line of the house; the installation of a new roof membrane; the installation of gutters; and caulking and painting the new wall. I was initially concerned as to whether Roofpro had sufficient experience for the job. However, their bid was very competitive, and I interviewed both the salesman and the supervisor in detail, and was satisfied that they knew what they were doing. I was more than impressed. The job was started on time, and finished in a timely manner. The weather was not ideal for the project (it was cold!), but the Roofpro team worked through it. The taper was installed on the roof, and the new, low "wall" was constructed. The Roofpro team caulked all the seams between the existing roof and the new wall, to preserve the look of the house; installed the new roof membrane; and painted the new wall to match the existing roof. I am writing this report about two months after the work was done, to be sure that the roof was sealed -- I have had no problems with the new roof whatsoever. The design sheds water like it was supposed to do, and you cannot tell from the outside of the house that there is now a "taper" to the roof. I was impressed not only with the work done, but with the company's communications. They explained the work in detail, and answered all of our questions. I received several emails and phone calls before the work was begun, telling me when the work was going to be scheduled, and how long it would take. I received several more emails as the work was being done, telling me how things were going and when the work would be completed. This was in marked contrast to other roofing companies that I interviewed, where it was difficult to even get phone calls returned. Finally, the price was right. Roofpro's price for the tapered roof was less than the bids of other companies that were providing estimates, and even less than one company that provided an estimate for a non-tapered roof. I would use this company again in a minute.
Description of Work: About one-half of my house had a flat roof, and the roof needed replacement. RoofPro installed a new "tapered" roof (i.e., they installed a gentle slope to the roof), and then covered that slope with new, modern roofing material. However, in order to install the new roof, Roofpro had to build a short "wall" around the outside of the roof, to preserve the horizontal roof line of the house. That "wall" had to fit with and match the current roofline, and had to be painted, etc. Finally, RoofPro installed guttering to channel water away from the lowest part of the slope.
