The sales representative gave me a fair price estimate for the scope of roof work which included a tear-off of two shingle layers. The crew arrived on schedule and worked steadily for 11 hours, ensuring no damage to the premises. The end job looked very professional and the area was left "broom clean". Great company!

We had a leak in our roof, and also needed to replace the old cedar/wood siding (hundreds of holes where birds had eaten through). We received 6 quotes and chose Jerry's Siding & Roofing. They have done a wonderful job. First, I am the type of person who questions everything. The sales rep (Randy) has responded immediately to every question, and explained everything to my satisfaction. When the roofers saw that air did not have room to circulate from the soffits to the ridge vents (explaining why we had excessive moisture and mold), they suggested that we add baffles to create room for air to flow. When I worried that a one inch gap provided by the baffles was not enough, they explained that you don't want an excess of airflow. When I asked about the existing GABLE vents, they sent me literature to explain why, if you are adding ridge vents, you don't want to also have both (gable and ridge vents). I asked many other questions....and each was answered quickly and patiently. The house looks beautiful and I am confident that the house is now ready for the next 20-30 years. I recommend Jerry's Siding & Roofing 100%.

Called them, someone picked up the phone right away which was better than any of the other places I tried. However, they said it would be 2 weeks just to get an ESTIMATE. They also said they have a $475 minimum charge, which is way more than I can possibly imagine my job costing. So, lesson for other members - these guys aren't looking for your small jobs, or if you need a quick turnaround.

The work was done on time. Cleaned up all debris. Two other roofers were also asked to bid. They used the same materials to do the same work and they were over a Thousand dollars more expensive. Jerrys is a small local company in Severn. I wish them well.

Jerry's was excellent. The sales Rep Lou vas very professional, was straight forward about aTownhouse being cookie cutter jobs and that Jerry's had my neighborhood on file with what the different models. They came on 40% less than most of the other quotes I had. They also were able to accommodate my tight 10 day schedule from quote to completion, despite it being a rainy 2 weeks. They were great!!

His pricing is reasonable. Five workers came out to complete the roof and it took several hours. They were excellent and left the area clean when they were finished.

It was a very good experience from beginning to end.

We called several local siding companies to request quotes on a SMALL job (repair to a porch ceiling section that came off in a large storm -- loose due to a prior company attempt to reinsulate that section of the home.) One siding company told us they didnt work on small jobs; Jerry's was able to send somebody by to look at our issue and provide an estimate within several business days ("as time allows"/when the crew member was nearby). As this was a small job, we were fine with being worked into their existing schedule, and we did get an estimate quickly. The job was worked in around their bigger projects, and was started on a Friday - the person working on the job discovered greater issues (lack of insulation, poor work done prior by insulation contractor) and waited for our approval before going ahead with the increased scope of work (cost changed from $250 to $400 plus cost of insulation, total approx $500). In the end, the siding and insulation work required the entire sofit / deck ceiling to be removed and reinstalled, taking them just over a day and a half of work to complete. I was informed of changes and also issues as needed during the job, and if we ever decide to do a larger siding job, we would definitely call this company back! I did not mark them on punctuality as it was not an issue I could rate -- we had specifically told them we would be flexible on timing as it was such a small job -- however, they had suggested they would start at 9am each morning, but I dont believe showed up til 10 or so each day. It was NOT an issue for me, so maybe if we had discussed the importance of a particular start time, perhaps that would have happened; so, I wanted to flag this as a POTENTIAL issue if it is of utmost importance to anybody.

The appointment was set up for Monday for the roof and Tuesday for the gutters. On Monday the workers arrived at 830am. There were only 5 of them and we could not believe how fast they worked. They removed the old roof and replaced several sheets of plywood that we expected due to rot. They cleaned up as they went and the roof was completely put on by 130 in the afternoon. The workers made one final clean up and even swept off our driveway (some dust and dirt from the deconstruction of the old roof)! On Tuesday only 3 guys came to remove and install the new gutters and down spouts. They removed the old ones and measured and cut the new gutters to size right here. It only took them 45 minutes to complete the work. They also took all of their trash and cleaned up very well behind them. We plan on using Jerry's again for an interior remodel since we can't get the addition we wanted and for any other future home construction products!

Lou Czyzia came out to the house and walked us through the repair options. He was extremely helpful in giving us various options for the work. He also talked to us about dealing with our insurance company to ensure we received a fair settlement. He provided a quote and followed-up in a timely manner. We selected a different contractor who also provided a high-level of service, but a better price. I would definitely contact Jerry's again for future projects.

I had Jerry's quote the replacement of 4 roof skylights. They offered Velux for the same price as lesser brands, so I went with Jerry's. The install was not without problems (see below) but overall I'm satisfied with the company, their response, and their workmanship. We had the skylights measured by Jerry's, and ordered units with sunshades. On installation day, the crew arrived and began setup, only to find that the skylights delivered we the wrong size! Luckily, the crew measured before removing anything from my roof - full marks guys! I just wish the measurer had paid a little more attention. Before the second visit, it was discovered that the units I ordered don't come in my size with sunshades. Jerry's offered (and I accepted) to install aftermarket shades instead. The second install and subsequent shade measurement and install went without incident. Overall I give Jerry's credit for delivering what they said they would, despite several setbacks. They took responsibility for the measurement error and the snowball effect it had on the shades, and delivered quality service. Sandy just ruined another skylight in another part of the house, and Jerry's will be getting another call from me.

Jerry and his crew were professional, responsive and efficient from our first meeting through to completion of the various jobs. He provided options and recommendations and reasonable estimates. The jobs were done well and if there were any questions or problems they were handled promptly and to our satisfaction. His people were always there when they said they would be, did great work, worked hard, and cleaned up after themselves each day. We'll be using Jerry's again and again.

I have to admit it was a little bumpy in the start just getting the contracts in place. This seemed to be a bit of communication problem they had internally. But, once we got on track, we had the contract and plans in place and ready to go. Within a couple weeks, they were on site with all the materials and crew they needed to get the job done in one day. The only part of the second day was to tidy up a few final touches and all was done.

They did an excellent job!!! They were top notch from start to finish. They always went about there business in a professional manner. Our house is beautiful!!!

Jerry's Siding did an excellent job on the entire project. They finished ahead of schedule, and provided an excellent price for the complete job. Jerry's was a subcontractor for the siding on our home that was built by Dreamcraft Homes in late 2002. We have had a leak in our lower window in the 15' great room since the house was built and thought we found the problem and fixed it on our own but recently found that the leak had not been resolved. We called Jerry's thinking it would be best since they did the orginal siding on the house and can also check or service the roof if either seems to be the issue at hand. The person that answered the phone was polite enough but seemed unknowledgeful. They said I could hold for someone in the service department; I got a girl that seemed even more clueless than the first. If she was the person acquiring detailed information for the serviceman then it was pretty scary. I had to repeat the simple information several times and still wasnt sure that she even knew what I was talking about; it is a pretty straightforward description. I called Friday 7/30 and have yet to hear from them by Wednesday 8/4. They took all of our information and never called back to make an appointment, ask additional questions, clarify information nor have come out to inspect the house. I find this experience very disturbing and would be very skeptical to continue trying to do business with them if this is how they treat a potential customer; especially one that has been serviced at the time the house was initially built. It seemed logical if there were repairs or replacements to be made that it would be easier for them if they had to replace or match the siding etc., but if they are this unreliable in getting an intial evaluation, what can you possibly expect when they are actually hired to do a job? The house was solidly built and the siding seems to have been installed well in 2002. I am not sure what management or service has changed there over the years but I am too hesitant to even persue their business any further. This experience has made me join Angie's list to try to find a more reliable and competent contractor.
