Description of Work: I needed my long driveway resealed before the winter hit. Joseph and his assistant came out and prepped the driveway first, sealed a few cracks, and then applied hot sealant to the asphalt. It took two days to cure, and it looks great- no gaps or missing spots.

Description of Work: Had my existing asphalt driveway seal-coated. This was the second time they've provided the service. They were less expensive than another quote I got and have done good work. I have a large flag lot shared with a neighbor and we split the total cost.

Description of Work: They scheduled the service and showed up on time and were able to do the job while we were not home. They were courteous and attentive on the phone and made scheduling easy. Some people complain about the overspray on the grass, but that is to be expected. My only complaint would be that the cracks did not actually appear to be filled other than with the sealer itself. Thus, the cracks were still very visible, but it does not appear that the sealer has had any issues with flaking even through our brutal winter. The key to driveway maintenance is to be proactive and unfortunately the previous homeowner was not so I can't really fault the contractor on the crack issue. Overall I would still recommend using them as it is worth the extra $ over doing it yourself. Once every couple years should be all it takes to avoid issues. If you already have visible cracking I would say clean and fill them yourself, then call these guys out to finish the seal.

Had to call him back for a minor repair, but he showed up on time and completed the repair as required. I recommended him to my neighbor; he completed that job in the same (great) manner.

 + -1 moreMost of my discussions and decision making were made over the phone. Due to schedule problems, I did not get to meet Ernie until the morning the job started. However, from our discussions I felt confident that he could and would do the proper job. They started and completed the job in one day and kept me informed and asked questions as options or decisions were needed. When they finished, they cleaned up, and left the job site in a clean fashion. In a couple of weeks, I will have them return and put a sealer on the driveway.
Description of Work: My existing driveway was cracked and the surface had an ''alligator'' appearance. Other companies had offered to pave over top of the existing driveway with 2 inches of asphalt. Ernie Stanley's approach was to dig up the asphalt, roll and put down 2-3 inches of new asphalt. With the slope and drainage of my driveway, I felt this was the best solution.

 + -1 moreWE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH E.STANLEY'S WORK. THEY TOOK TIME TO SQUARE OFF/ROUND OUT OUR DRIVEWAY...WHICH PREVIOUSLY WAS NOT DONE WELL. AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETE, A RAINSTORM REVEALED A LOW AREA WHERE WATER COLLECTED. THEY HONORABLY CAME OUT SOON AFTER AND REGRADED THAT AREA TO GIVE PROPER DRAINAGE (AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE, OF COURSE). WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
