Their work was adequate. We asked for an estimate for the whole driveway. They tried to up sell us.

The service worked out fine. We changed things, and we did more work, than was on the big deal.

My purchase of the special got lost, they finally contacted me the last week of the season, did a great job. Will do the rest next summer.

Unfortunately, the blacktop spray also got onto the house siding and sidewalk, which we were unable to remove.

They service turned out fine, but the people who answer their phones aren’t the best. I had to try four times to get them to understand the name of the street and pass it along to the workers properly.

Very professional, but didn't get back to me right away, (took several days from initial phone call). Once they did make contact, they set a date when it was good for us. They called the day before just to make sure everything was still "OK". They arrived on time and did a great job!!! They left us with contact info in case anything was wrong after drying period. They said they'd call in 6 months to see if all was still well. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

I was pleased with the job except for the clean up or the lack thereof. During prep work E. Stanley Paving trimmed grass around edges of road and driveways leaving clumps of sod on the lawns. After the job was completed I did a walk around with the owner of the business to look at the job. I asked about the sod clumps and he said they would disperse back into the lawn naturally in a few days. I let it pass and paid him. A couple of days later after some of my neighbors had expressed their displeasure with the lack of adequate cleanup I emailed E. Stanley Paving and wrote that we were happy with the overall job but felt the cleanup was inadequate (the contract states that E. Stanley Paving would clean up the job site on completion of the job). By the time I sent the email my neighbors and I had cleaned up the sod clumps, it was more of a FYI for the business to know we weren't entirely happy with the work. I never received a response to my email from the company.

They did a great job and we would hire them again.

They were okay but the scheduling was difficult. However, they did a good job when they finally made it. They were fine and professional.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went very well. They came out pretty quickly. The only thing I can remember is going back and forth trying to find time, and then they had to cancel at one point, but it was no big problem because that wasn't an emergency. The work was very good. They came out, did the job like they said they would, and did a really good job. I thought it was a fair price.

I purchased a Big Deal on Oct 22, 2013 and understood that the service provider was to contact me within 2-3 days. When I did not receive an email after 5 days, I emailed the service provider and said that I was still interested. I never heard from the service provider. The Big Deal expired Jan 20, 2014. I requested a refund.

Very professional job by a local, family owned and operated business. At the end of the job I noticed a minor problem with the paving and contacted the owner. He came out with his family on a Sunday to survey the issue, offered up a solution, and had his team return to fix the problem as fast as possible. I cannot recommend them highly enough. It was a pleasure dealing with them

It went fine. Everything promised was done. Got some sealer on the grass and bushes along the driveway but nothing major.

This was done while I was at work, but they fit me in before cold weather. Very pleased

I purchased a driveway sealing deal in July, multiple emails/calls due to provider IT issue, but finally scheduled for end of August. Had to reschedule, never heard back from provider. Made contact with them in November and scheduled paving, never showed due to equipment issue. Called/emailed again and scheduled in December-once again not completed due to weather issues. Emailed them again 12/17/13 and never heard from them until requested refund through Angie's List in January 2014. Member was always polite in phone conversations, can't comment on quality of work, but 6 months to never complete a job is not acceptable.

It was very good. We liked it and that was in a timely manner. They returned our call quickly, arrived at the time they were supposed to arrive and then cleared the area so it was very fast and smooth and very friendly.

They did fine. They did a good job. There was an extra charge because the driveway was a little than the standard. But we were happy with their service.

They did a great job and we will use them again this summer.

Everything went well and they did a good job.

E Stanley Asphalt Paving sealed my driveway. They edged the grass and taped off concrete areas giving the finished job a clean appearance. I had no problems with the work performed.

Their work was very good. They did a complete job. The amount of driveway that I needed to do was about 2-1/2 times what was in the deal but they gave me a good price so I had them do the entire driveway. They did a very good job. The only negative that I would say is that it took them a month to get back in touch with me. I realized they're a small company and I waited for about two weeks for them to call me including one talk from Angie's List that they should have contacted me and they hadn't. I started making phone calls and when they finally got back in touch with me, the proprietor mentioned that he had some family issues that took him out of site so he was kind of backed up. So, taking it all with a grain of salt and recognizing that not everybody is a huge company with lots of resources when you have family emergencies. I didn't want to downgrade him too much, but nevertheless, he could have called me and told me when I first started making the calls instead of waiting for another week. Once he did make that initial contact, he was very good about straightening contact. We actually had to cancel one day because of rain but he called me out and told me he can't come out because of the rain, we'll do it sometime next week, which we did. It worked out fine. The quality of the work was very good.

Sealed driveway and filled large cracks. Very responsive, punctual and professional.

We were disappointed with the calculation of the square footage on our driveway. We calculated it to be significantly less than what the estimate was for and when we asked them to recalculate they were uninterested and blew us off. We had them do the service since we had already bought the big deal. The work was fine.
