Description of Work: Fast talking salesman , misdiagnosed the problem until the basement was wet again after I spent 4 k and then a guy came out that was very nice and patched the leak around the main water line- which was all I needed. Also referred me to a drywall team " that did a horrible and incomplete job in my basement. I please get other opinions before you use this company.

Description of Work: I can't say enough good things about Steve at All Aspects Waterproofing. All Aspects had done a waterproofing job for us a year or so ago - we needed an emergency consult so I called the same company. Thank goodness they sent Steve. He generously spent about an hour at our house checking out our concerns, and addressing them. We found that Steve is not only knowledgeable - he is reliable, kind and, perhaps most important, he is honest. Steve listened, explained things to us in layman's terms, was straightforward, and allayed my fears. In addition, Steve was very accommodating with his schedule, working late so that I didn't have to miss work. He agreed to meet us at 7:00 p.m., called when he was on his way, and arrived on time (actually, he was early but waited until I got home at 7 to come in). We found him to be patient and generous with his time. I am not one to write reviews but I rarely have such a good experience or find someone so trustworthy. On top of his honesty, expertise and wonderful work ethic, Steve was a real pleasure to spend time with.

Description of Work: This wonderful gentleman arrived shortly after I called him. He was prompt and so honest! He could have pretended that we needed some sort of work, but he shared some tips to help me waterproof the front of my house, and then he left. I offered to pay him for his trouble, and he refused taking any money! Unheard of.. He was friendly and very knowleageable. How very grateful we are. And we have experienced 2 other severe rainstorms since this time, and he correctly predicted that we would not suffer any more damage.

Description of Work: I called All Aspects Weatherproofing for information on backup batteries for two sump pumps previously installed in my basement by another company. I was concerned that a future "Sandy-like" storm could knock out the power for a long enough period of time that the water might or likely would enter my basement. I explained the subject matter to the individual who initially answered the phone and was told the individual who could give me the needed information was busy with another customer but he would call me back as soon as possible. I had to leave the house for awhile and when I returned I listened to a very pleasant, professional voice mail from the "expert" who could help me. I called him back and he thoroughly addressed my concerns and answered my questions. His bottom line was that the company (All Aspects Weatherproofing) was not satisfied with any of the backup battery systems currently on the market because they required quite a bit of maintenance and attention to keep them serviced and, even if they did function properly when the power went out, they would provide backup power for two to six hours at best. He said they do install the battery backup systems if a customer insists on having them but their recommendation was for me to explore other possibilities such as an in-house generator system or a free standing generator system. He gave me the names of a couple of companies who dealt with the in-house systems. Although relatively expensive, he said that smaller generator systems could be purchased for approximately $3,000 and, of course, larger systems would cost much more. I very much appreciated the open and honest response to my concerns, and I would definitely call the company again if I needed an expert, unbiased opinion on waterproofing or any other related subject areas that the company serves. If I needed work done in any of those areas, I would definitely discuss the work requirement with All Aspects Weatherproofing and get a cost estimate from them to do the work.

Description of Work: Zeeker, the Regional Manager, arrived within the schedule time and promptly searched for the cause of water in the basement. After looking behind a piece of panelling, and then checking the window well outdoors, he determined that all we needed to do is to caulk around the window in the window well. Should water come in the basement again, he said that we might need to do some work like installing a pump. We appreciate Zeeker's candidness and professional opinion, and should we need to do further work for water in the basement, we will call him again.

Description of Work: Our basement recently got flooded due to Sandy and we called All Aspects Waterproofing i order to order an assessment for our basement/foundation to determine what exactly caused the flood. Since we bought our house just a few months ago, we were not sure if there were any serious issues with the house that had not been identified during our inspection. Our experience with All Aspects Waterproofing was great from start to finish. Jeff Basham, a Senior Inspector, came to our house on 11/10/2012 (as originally scheduled) and did some checks inside and outside of our basement . Upon completion of his work, he explained how the water came into the house and answered all of our questions in detail. He was very professional and friendly.

Description of Work: They came and spent an hour at the house for a free consultation and then followed up afterward with some specific equipment recommendations. They gave us incredibly good and detailed advice and never tried to sell us on their services, even though we would have hired them in a heartbeat. Turns out, most important things we can do ourselves and by hiring an electrician to install an air exchanger. Wonderful experience with them.

Description of Work: Jeff came on time and provided expert analysis. Our leak was not major, but too much for installing new carper. We decided to take Jeff's advice to make above ground changes to keep water away from the house. There was no charge, but we will go with All Aspects if our above ground work proves not a solution.

Description of Work: Requested a quote to perform wet basement repair. Jeff Basham was on-time and provided a quote to perform either an outside or inside repair to address the wet basement problem I was experiencing. I chose to proceed with a Miadrain system as a result of receiving three proposals and deciding that that was my best approach. I asked for and received two best and final offers from Angie's List providers. At the end of the day it was availability to perform the job that drove my decision to another contractor. I would not hesitate to recommend AAW to others.

Description of Work: This company was completely unprofessional. The company came out to do an estimate for rebuilding our rear wall in the townhouse basement and waterproofing the basement. The estimator came out and took about 2 hours going over every inch, inside and out of the basement and explaining everything they would do. He then said they would get back to me within a day with a formal estimate. The estimator gave me the whole sppech about how they were better than everyone else for hundreds of reasons and that we should hire them. I then received an email 2 days later saying they didnt need the work and they were deciding not to give an estimate. If they didnt need the work, why waste 2 hours of my time going over the house. And this would have been a big job for them (probably $20k +). Unprofessional and a waste of time. It looks like they will only work with people they know they can do little work for and overcharge.

Description of Work: From our first contact with the operator to the salesman, Clarence Woods, to Nelson, the scheduler, to the foreman of the crew, Chito, (and of course, his crew!) this experience was A+. They were all incredibly knowledgable, professional, responsive and respectful and I have no doubt that they worked very hard with us to get the right job done within our budget. In fact, due to my miscalculations, I overpaid them and they were at my door the next day to assist in correcting my mistake. Honesty, reliability and workmanship are all the characteristics of a company that continues to succeed in difficult economic times. I would recommend them highly and would definitely hire them again in a heartbeat!

Description of Work: Zeke came out immediately to look at my water damage. He was very professional and made a thorough examination. He suggested gutter repair as a potential solution rather than a more expensive waterproofing treatment. If this doesn'i work I will be sure to contact him for the necessary treatment. It was great to get a free diagnosis with NO sales pressure.

Description of Work: Jeff Basham came out to look at my basement leak. He quickly diagnosed the problem, concluded that it was fundamentally a plumbing issue and not a waterproofing issue, and went on his merry way -- without charge for the visit. He was super-professional and extremely personable. I could not imagine doing business with anyone else if I had a real waterproofing problem. A wonderful experience.

Description of Work: We'd called All Aspects to get a quote on foundation repairs to stop water leakage into one corner of our the basement. Jeff from All Aspects came out to do the estimate. He was prompt, personable and very knowledgeable and professional. Jeff was able to identify the problem and describe what needed to be done to fix it. Unfortunately for us it was too small of a job for the company to take on but Jeff still gave me an estimate of what the work should cost to do, so as to have a comparison for other company quotes. He additionally walked me thru step by step what should be done to ensure i was educated on the process and if i wanted to do it myself i would be able to do so. The company definitely deserves their high rating on Angies List and I would highly recommend them to any individual with foundation problems.

Description of Work: Their people did a terrific job cleaning out my basement's old and clogged waterlines leading to the sump sump and installing a new system that, hopefully, will avert ground water away from the foundation of my house - - - when we next have a torrential townpour. What I didn't expect, count on, or maybe didn't understand when given the estimate, is that it left my basement walls in need of stud repair and dry wall repair - - - another rather expensive proposition to have done. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with the actual work they did.

Description of Work: The company proivided me an adequate estimate/proposal for basement waterproofing services that included a sump pump. I was seriously considering contractinfg with them but ended going with another company, B-Dry.

Description of Work: I had All Aspects Waterproofing out to waterproof my basement. The went over everything and used a lot of detail. They delivered everything they promised they would and the house is immaculate.

Description of Work: Called for an inspection/estimate meeting. The surveyor was very professional and examined all aspects of the problem and promised to get back to me for the estimate. But that was where it all stopped. Nothing! I called after a given time and they couldn't find me in their records. If they felt they were above the job, I wish they had said "not interested". But nothing! Recommendations? NO CHANCE.

Description of Work: Jeff came out to look at our problem with water periodically entering the basement. He very thorough assessing the problem and explained the problem to us and how we could fix it. However, he went on to explain that since the location was in an unfinshed location in the basement, he recommended that we could wait and continue to monitor the situation. He walked around the exterior and described several things I could do myself that may actually take care of the problem and avoid the need for spending money on the fix. What a pleasure dealing with an honest contractor! If it does turn out we will need to do the work we will certainly call All Aspects back.
