Serving Maryland, D.C. and Virginia, All Aspects Waterproofing the leader in service and quality. Over 35 years experience, providing the quality workmanship needed to keep your basement dry. Our life of the structure warranty is a reflection of our commitment to ensure every customer is satisfied. Whether you're a homeowner or a perspective buyer, having a dry basement will add value to your home.
Rather than write up an expensive work proposal like the other companies had done, instead he told me how I could treat the problem myself. This was a shock to say the least and we really appreciated his honesty which saved us a couple thousand dollars. He was very professional and personable and I highly recommend All Aspects Waterproofing for any water issues in your home.

Steve Maney from All Aspects Waterproofing was one of 3 companies we called to give us an estimate on repairing a crack in our foundation wall. I wanted to be very careful about the company I hired to do the repair so I researched the top rated companies on Angie's list, reviewed certificates of insurance and licenses, checked with BBB, and the MHIC. Since I only only called top rated companies on Angie's List to get estimates, all of the companies I met with had good records. However, what separated All Aspects from the rest was the detailed explanation Steve gave me on the very thorough method they use to fix the problem. In addition, their warranty was much better than the other companies. After discussing the issue with Steve, I felt very confident that his company was extremely capable of fixing the problem. Additionally, I never felt that he was trying to "up-sell" me on getting a system I didn't need (which one of the other companies did). They fixed the crack with hydrolic concrete/elastomeric caulk, then applied high density tar adhesive, then applied a premolded member vapor seal, then a hard plastic sheet. The men worked extremely hard and finished the project in one day. I have since called Steve several times to look at another issue in a different house as well as a musty smell we were having in our basement and each time, he arrived promptly and always gives me the most practical low cost solution to my problem (which many other waterproofing companies don't do). He has been great to deal with. You can definitely trust him to give you an honest assessment of your problem without worrying that he will over-sell you something you don't need. This is the company to call if you have water issues in your house.

I had the difficult experience of preparing for sale my late parents' house. There was a mold remediation issue that had to be addressed. Because I live out of town, communication was very important to me. From beginning to end of the process, Jutta and Rob were both accessable and professional...always returning my calls and emails ASAP. In particular, Rob answered my questions and concerns carefully and patiently. The price was slightly higher than other estimates, but the level of service very much compensated for that. The job was done well and on time. The house is now clean and mold free. I would recommend All Aspects for mold remediation.

Excellent.. wouldnt use another waterproofing company. .. they could make a killing on my neighborhood every house in my neighborhood has water issues however they prob be out several times for them as well.
Description of Work: they have done a great job with basement. I had lingering issues that had nothing to do w work they did. I would call for issues and they would be out in matter of hours on most occassions . ONly reason had issues because learned about house on top sub par land but their waterproofing kept water out on most rains . We had one terrential rain last month that put water in basement. They came out and did more extensive work at no cost. they added second sumpump , waffle boards exted french drain and made it go out to the yard. put extra paint on wall etc. So far been good but even if issues they come out to solve right away, no questions asked.

The crew arrived in the morning around 0800, and I left my house keys with the foreman as I headed to work. I returned around noon and the crew had already laid the French drain system and were set to seal the floor. By 1330, the system was installed, cement was poured, and all construction materials were removed. The crew did a great job sealing off the rest of the basement from dust and debris. You would not even know they had been working there. We have had several large downpours since the installation and the system works fine. We have had no further flooding incidences. I highly recommend All Aspects for basement waterproofing.
Description of Work: I initially chose All Aspects because they were the most prompt at responding and the most flexible with our working schedule. Within days of requesting an assessment, Clarence, their lead technician, visited our home and conducted a thorough assessment of our water problem. Our finished basement had minor flooding after each heavy downpour, which was the norm for the months of August and September. Clarence explained the need to install a sump pump system along the rear interior wall of the basement. He explained the process in detail and even had a video on his iPad outlining the steps. After taking measurements, he provided an estimate of the cost. He never pressured me into signing anything and simply told me to call if I had any other questions. Needless to say, we signed the contract the next day.

I called the company the day before the estimate was scheduled. Since I was sick at home, I asked whether the estimate might be scheduled for the next day. The operator gave us a time-window (2-4 pm) the next day. I very much appreciated that they were able to squeeze us in even on a short notice. The estimator, Zeke, arrived exactly on time at 2.30 pm. He inspected the basement and concluded that, besides having somebody else to fix a cracked windowsill through which water has been probably seeping in the past, there is nothing for their company to do. He recommended that we have a window-repair company fix or replace the window, which should resolve any future water issues. Then we moved to a valted window on the main floor through which a significant amount of water leaked during recent power-washing. Zeke took me outside, showed me where the water was coming through and suggested that we have a handyman caulk the crack with silicon caulk. Zeke was very nice, polite and professional in spite of the fact that I dragged him out to DC for nothing. As a first-time homebuyer, I very much appreciated his honest opinion and guidance. We have chosen "All Aspects" after reading their raving water-proofing reviews here on Angie's List, and could not be happier with our experience. Several companies on Angie's List have had customers writing that many of these companies are just trying to sell an expensive product. I have therefore initially approached the situation from a similar angle and scheduled a second opinion ahead of time. I will be cancelling that appointment tomorrow. Zeke has earned our "seal of trust" and we wil definitely call "All Aspects" next time around when there is a real job for them to do.
Description of Work: I have recently purchased a home. We had several workmen coming through the house (ranging from a plumber to a window-repairman) who suggested that we contact a water-proofing company to ensure that there are no structural water-related issues in the basement bedroom, primarily in the area of a window well. While the area is currently clear of water, there appeared to be some past water damage there.

We feel a bit taken by this company. After moving in to our 1928 tudor we noticed moisture in the air but not a wet basement. After reading reviews on Angie's List, we called All Aspects. The basement had an existing system, with a working sump pump. Estimator Rob Chicherio handled the site visit and explained why we needed a system, saying the one we had was old and inadequate, and if we wanted to finish the basement (which we did) we would need a new system. He wowed us with technical terms and pretty pictures of the All Aspects system and we signed up. While the work performed by the installtion team was good (outside of the work performed in the garage and missing barrier), we didn't need a new system and we certainly didn't need a full perimeter system since the entire lenght of one of the walls is underneath a large concrete slab and not threatened by water or moisture, while others were interior walls, also not threatened. Additionally, while we paid for the entire crawl space to be covered in a vapor barrier, it is not. The concrete floor in the garage was old and cracked, and we wanted nice and new. We asked All Aspects if they were qualified to replace our garage floor which Rob responded, in writing, "We are certainly able and qualified to remove replace the concrete floor. It will be poured with a ready mix 5000 PSI strength concrete (delivered to site) that is reinforced with rebar plus a strengthening additive." Well, three months later and after allowing the area to cure for 21+ days, the concrete is cracking in multiple places. I sent an email on 8/26 and 9/19 regarding the problem, without response. Our experiene with this company has fallen far short. We hope that they will be responsible and address the garage floor and missing vapor barrier, as thus far they have not.
Description of Work: Full perimeter system for entire basement plus garage; crawlspace vapor barrier; remove and replace garage floor; Santa Fe Advance dehumidifier and fan for garage.

My family has been going through stressful/frustrated situation for last 6 weeks as we found a water under the carpet 6 week ago. I am a naive as house owner and have no clue about "water dynamics at housing". We called 2 to 3 water proofing companies and couple of handymen and every one has different forecasts, especially those 2 waterproofing companies who came to do estimates are more interested in my valet than finding out the root-cause. Actual problem was simple, we just found square foot size of wet carpet and water under the carpet 6 weeks and the reason for this was crack/break on sewage pipe. Unfortunately 2 handyman companies and 2 other water proofing companies could not focus on finding out the root-cause and did not care about checking what exactly the problem is. I made a right thing calling "All Aspects Waterproofing" and with in short notice they could able to schedule the appointment with Mr. Zeeker, Sr. Inspector. He drove 3 hours to reach my home and he did arrive prompt and his approach is clean and clear. **ASK FOR Mr. ZEEKER**. He is thorough professional and specialist. t
Description of Work: Mr. Zeeker from All Aspects Waterproofing came to my home and did thorough inspection why water is seen under carpet and he did not jump into the conclusions as the other two water companies did that this is a "underground water leaking issue". Finally he could able to find the root-cause "leake/crack on sewage pipe". That saved me thousand of dollars. He also helped me in removing the mold that has been accumulated over few days due to the leakage and malfunction of Sump Pump. He did advise me on using dehumidifier and helped me installing one.

Great experience! Easy to schedule, helpful staff. DO ask for Zeke!
Description of Work: We've been getting water in our basement lately when there are heavy rains. We had three different highly recommended Angie's list companies come out for estimates. 2 of the 3 recommended the same $3000 solution. All Aspects was the 3rd and they sent Zeke to see our basement and provide the estimate. Not only was he incredibly friendly and personable, but he spent extensive time inspecting our foundation inside and out and suggested a very inexpensive DIY solution to our problem (basically unclogging drain pipes via the downspouts with plumber supplies that we can get at any hardware store). We are so grateful for Zeke's time and advice! What a great way to start the weekend!

After searching and reviewing a number of companies that deal with basement water problems I decided to call All Aspects Waterproofing because of their positive reviews and high rating on Angie's List. Called, explained the problem and made the appointment over the phone. Technician, Zeke, arrived within the time promised and we spent a few minutes talking about the problem as he began his inspection. He was pleasant, professional and prepared. In short order, he concluded that the area I was concerned with was not a problem. He then went on to explain why this was so, and continued to inspect the rest of the basement. He evaluated the perimeter of the basement and showed me several areas that merited some attention. He examined cracks in the block wall and inspected the sump pump well. He also inspected the outside so he could see where the pump discharged, and how the gutter and downspouts were handling the run off. Here he made some suggestions on how to better route the drain system to avoid affecting a block retaining wall. Throughout the entire process, which took about an hour, he patiently answered my questions. He suggested numerous things that I, the homeowner, could do to help prevent water intrusion. I think he decided pretty quickly that there was nothing for him to fix, and spent the majority of the time showing me what to look for and how to improve what I already had. Before he left, he asked if I had any other questions and left me a business card. Although I didn't contract with the company, I was certainly impressed with their representative and I would be inclined to call and use them in the future.

As mentioned, the first visit by the estimator was not entirely satisfactory but the second was an excellent visit - we felt fully briefed on the advances in technology that had occurred since our sump pump was built; the estimator knew the other steps we had taken to deal with the basement water issues; and suggested several other steps that All Aspects would take outside the house to deal with the flow from the downspouts. We moved all the furniture and other items away from the walls and the construction team arrived on time - was neat, careful of the lawn; had to remove the dry wall and studs 12 inches from the floor, and then remove the concrete flooring around the walls; remove the concrete; bring in new french drain pipe and gravel, add barriers along the foundation wall to direct water leaks into the drain system; and then pour fresh concrete over the new drain system. They did this all in two days. They were careful to seal up the a/c system, and erected plastic sheeting to minimize the concrete dust (which they were able to confine to the lower level of the townhouse) - they carried all the materials in and out of the house using a window, so they did't walk through the house (which was much appreciated since we have wood floors) . . at the end of the second day it was clear that their skill included concrete work because the surface of the new concrete was as smooth as the adjacent old concret floor. Honestly, I don't know how they could have improved the quality and professionalism of their work. Breaking up concrete and hauling chunks of it out a window; hauling new gravel and fresh cement back in is brutal work and the potential for a big mess at the end is high - but All Aspects deserves (in our opinion) the high marks it gets on Angies' List - the day after they had finished their work you wouldn't know what they had done unless you into our family room or store room. The interior of the house was dust free, and their was no construction or other material or other sign of their work anywhere - other than where they had worked, of course. A really terrific experience - five stars for this company - everyone who works for them works for the company - no day laborer. It's clear they have pride in their craft and their business. It shows. Five stars!
Description of Work: Unknown to us (following the September 2011 wet month) we had a fairly serious water seepage problem in the corner of the family room that was hidden by a desk. When a leak developed in outside water tap and also got the rug wet we discovered that the dry wall had swollen with the wet and was moldy. A look at Angies list showed that All Aspects was by far the best, so we called for an appointment. The initial review got off on a bad foot - the estimator arrived after 9:00 pm and clearly had had a bad day - and I'd say he was a bit over-cafeinated too - but nonetheless it was clear that he knew what he was doing and had considerable experience. His diagnosis was that our existing sump pump/french drain system had silted up in the 3o years since the house had been built and needed to be replaced. We discribed our efforts - over nearly 20 years, to deal with the various water leaks we had. We had, for example, made sure to bank the soil all around the house to get water to flow away from the foundation; had put hardscape on the back yard of our townhouse; replaced the gutters and downspouts, increasing their diameters and water handling capacity; and made sure the downspouts drained far away from the house. After the estimator's initial visit we were still a bit uncertain, but called him back, and he came during the day and we had a less rushed, more comprehensive discussion and we decided to go with All-Aspects.

Chito and his crew arrived promptly as promised and worked their butts off for 2 solid days virtually non-stop (they may have stopped for lunch but that’s about it). This was a very labor intense job that involved a lot of cutting through concrete and hauling away of rock and other debris. They did NOT try to cut corners – they completely tunneled under our fireplace and shower to complete the drain system (other quotes I got said they couldn’t do that and would have to just trench as far as they could under those obstacles – thus the system would not be completely around the perimeter of the basement which was important to us). All Aspects work was neat (I almost hate covering their concrete work with floor covering because they did such a good job) and they cleaned up after themselves. I would hire All Aspects again in a heartbeat. They weren't the lowest quote we got (they weren't the highest either) but we gave them an A for price because they were worth every bit what we paid, we have piece of mind in the quality of work done, and because we believe in the reliability of their system. The whole process from estimate to completed job was absolutely seamless. To top it off, Chito (and anyone from All Aspects we talked to) always patiently answered any questions we had and explained every step of the process.
Description of Work: All-Aspects installed a 138 foot Miradrain WallSystem (drain system) around the entire interior perimeter of our basement including 2 sump pumps, 2 window well taps, and a stairwell tap 9x9 box drain. They bled the cinderblocks and mortar joints and completely contained the work area by hanging plastic, covering our personal belonging with plastic, and the use of negative air flow.

We called All Aspects and on time, Jeff arrived and immediately began to ask questions for understanding and began his inspection. He quickly assessed that our issue was a faulty sprinkler system which was leaking on both sides of the front stoop. He explained how this issue was causing our problem. He even showed photos of what he suspected and stated that at this point we do not need his services but do need to turn off water to the sprinkler system (which he did) and recommended that we call an irrigation company. He even offered how to approach the irrigation company to ensure they respond timely and address the issue. He even provided some antimicrobial solution that he gave us to use once we stop the water leak to prevent any mold or bacteria growth. Wow, he genuinely cared! I appreciate the professionalism and would recommend All Aspects for any one who believes they have a waterproofing problem.

They were really fast to come provide an estimate. He seemed knowledgeable in explaining the project and was happy to answer any questions I had. When I said I wanted to take some time to share the information with my dad, he didn't pressure me or act offended as some folks have in the past. I was very compfortable and impressed with the estimate process. When the workers came, they were on time, professional, left no trace, answered all of my questions and took extra care in my backyard to avoid damaging my garden. It meant they had to take longer to get the job done so I was impressed with the care they took to not damage the plants. They left things in inside and outside of the house in great condition.I was extremelly pleased with the project. They said it may take two days and it only less than 5 hours.
Description of Work: They installed a French drain around the interior perimeter of the back of my house (I'm in a row house). They dug a 2 foot ditch, installed pipes and such, a sump pump, and redirected water on the outside of my house's downspout into another pipe.
As a first time home owner that had only been in the house for a few months I was terrified on what the experience would be like and how much it would cost. I am very happy I went with All Aspects. They sent Zeke out to take a look, who took the time to really inspect the area and diagnose the problem. He worked with me to find a solution that would not only solve my problem, but also would be affordable. Within a week they sent Rusty and his team out to fix the problem and I was amazed at how fast, efficient, and professional they were. We have put the carpet back where the new sump pump has been installed and you would never know there was a problem there.

All Aspects came out, they were very prompt and called when they were on their way. The gentleman, Clarence, was very poltie and definitly knew what he was talking about. However, he told me the job was too small for All Aspects and that he would work up an estimate that was fair (around $2k) and pass it on to one of their subs for me. I would then get an email from the subcontractor with the written estimate and work directly with them. I was a bit excited about this -- since they do weekend work, and I wouldn't have to take a day off of work!I never received the estimate! Therefore no work was scheduled... I called Clarence to ask about it a few days later and he said he would call the sub... but I don't know if he ever did... or just said that... because I never heard from anyone again. What is the deal with jobs being too small??? I thought with this economy people would be happy just to be employed.

Upon our initial meeting and inspection we learned that there was an existing waterproofing system installed by another contractor. The system was recently installed and in the area of work to be performed. We advised the member that any other contractor doing additional work could potentially void the member's warranty for the previous work. We suggested the member contact the original contractor, that installed the work, and have that contractor do the new installation and/or be sure that any new work, by another contractor, would not void any warranties. During our follow up with the member we learned that the work was completed by the other contractor. We would have been happy to do the work; however we had the member's best interests in mind, long term, for their warranty versus our best interests in earning the business. We appreciate the opportunity.

I was worried our sump pump was having problems because I spotted some water on the cover. Rusty from All Aspects Waterproofing arrived well within the appointment time, was professional, courteous, and took off his shoes before coming into our home. He thoroughly checked out the sump pump and cleaned out the debris in the bottom. He also ran a bucket of water throught it to make sure everything was working ok. Rusty found that our sump pump was in good condition and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend and use this company again!

During a recent storm, we lost power, our sump pump overflowed, and we had water enter our basement under the door leading into our basement. This prompted us to contact All Aspects Waterproofing, which had been recommended by a neighbor. When I called to schedule an appointment for a free inspection, my phone call was returned promptly, and an appointment was scheduled for the next day. The company was flexible regarding scheduling the appointment at a time when it was convenient for me. During the appointment, an inspection was performed. The gap system in our home also was cleaned. We were put at ease to learn that the problems in our basement were not serious and that the solutions to prevent water from entering our basement in the future are easy to address and affordable. The person who performed the inspection was funny and professional and answered all of the questions that we asked.
Description of Work: A free inspection was performed, and recommendations were made regarding how to prevent water from entering our basement.

I called this company twice, both times leaving a message with an operator. The second time I even mentioned I had called a day earlier and had not heard back. The woman operator said she would pass on my message and now three days later I still have not heard. I saw the many positive reviews of this company on Angie's List but after this experience I would not call them again.

ALL ASPECTS IS HELPFUL AND MAKES AMENDS!! My first report detailed the accounts of the service and specifically costumer service I received. I am now happy to report that I have spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with one the partners, Tony. He has gone above and beyond to be helpful to me and my family. His caring attitude made all the difference in the world. The workmanship and installation are top notch and now I can honestly say the customer service is the same. All Aspects surveyed and installed a sump pump. Thank you for helping to support my husbands military service!
Description of Work: Inspected and surveyed basement, installation of sump pump, mold remediation and debris removal.
