Jimmy’s Team were very quick in response to our needs as our water heater was leaking one evening the next day before noon the team was out had the new 50 gallon water heater replaced it. Updated our unit to current code and cleaned up really well. I can’t express the professional experience the quality and the price. You do not need to shop around if you call them they were more reliable and reasonable then what my neighbors have paid for with a similar service. I highly recommend Alpha.

found a drain backup outside my basement door that was leaking water back into my basement. After water subsided, ran washing machine in basement and the drain backed up again. Found Kleenex Cottenelle flushable wipes in the drain after lifting the grate, in time water subsided again. I called four different plumbing companies to see what each recommended based on my situation and the cost for the service. Alpha's owner Jimmy was very knowledgeable, honest and explained what most likely was going on and what i could expect him to do along with a fixed cost to address the issue. His company also uses video technology to see what is in the pipes. Other companies wanted to charge a fee to come out to diagnose and then more to fix. I didn't want an unexpected bill and went with Jimmy. His two man crew came out and proceeded to spend some time diagnosing the point of the clog and then once finding which plumbing stack it was in, then proceeded to use a professional electric snaking to do about 30 feet worth of snaking to pull out a bunch of nearly fully intact Cottonelle flushable wipes. That cleared the clog and resolved the backup. his team also took the time to explain a few key things to help keep me clog free. Great work! I highly recommend this honest plumbing company.

I contacted Alpha Plumbing and explained what was going on. The person in charge indicated he thought he could get someone out to take a look at it that day. While I wasn't expecting them to come out the same day, I was quite relieved. Andrew was the plumber dispatched and he did an excellent job to address the immediate problem and fix my issue however he discovered an additional problem with the connection to the sump pump which would require additional service if I wanted. He said the drain was working fine and to fix the other issue was a personal choice. He gave me an estimate for the additional work and I said I would think about it. Later that evening we got some unexpected rain and so I was so relieved Andrew came out that day. Everything worked as it should. I did follow-up and had Alpha Plumbing to fix my drain properly and Andrew again was assigned to the task. The work Andrew did the second time to properly connect the drain came in about $200 under his original estimate. I will definitely use Alpha for my future plumbing needs.

On a holiday weekend, I had a clogged external sewer drain and called three vendors I found on Angie's list. Jimmy from Alpha was the only one to respond. His crew came out the next day, diagnosed the problem and said the drain was already clearing by itself and there was no need to charge us to snake it. He could have easily performed the service and charged me but he was honest and provided excellent service. Will use Alpha again!

Excellent. Jimmy and his assistant were great. Job well done. In 15 minutes they fixed what I could not fix in 4 hours. I recently called Jimmy for an issue with my garbage disposal and Jimmy gave me honest advice over the phone that fixed my problem and saved me money. Honest guy, good work. Couldn't ask for more.

We called on a weekend and the owner sent someone one Monday even though his wife was having their first child. Very professional and responsive.

Everything went smoothly. My initial phone call was returned promptly, an estimate given, and an appointment set. Jimmy and his crew showed up when promised, got right to work, and completed the job the same day. They were polite, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. I'd definitely hire them again.

Alpha had done other work for me during April 2013, excellent job. All I had to do was call and Jimmy sent his crew and got the job done.

Everything was professional. The plumber put down plastic to protect my floors, and he wiped up afterwards. The only reason I gave a slightly lower score for punctuality is because the plumber showed up an hour before I expected him. They had given me a window of 11am - 1pm, and the plumber arrived at 10am. Not a big deal overall.

They showed up on time and finished the work in a timely manner, leaving no mess.

I used Alpha's service (second opinion) to hopefully avoid an expensive project. Initially, I used another plumber to fix my unclogged storm drain which was unsuccessful. This plumber cannot run his snake through and mentioned it must be a collapsed pipe therefore I need to install an outside sump pump which would have been an expensive project. I was discussing this with a neighbor who highly recommended Alpha. I thought a second opinion wouldn't hurt so I called Jimmy and he answered me right away even though he was on vacation. He sent one of his crew to my house the next day and he was just there for about 10 minutes. Alpha was able to put the snake through and successfully unclogged my storm drain!! Thanks for helping me save $$$!!

We have used Jimmy Macheras from Alpha Plumbing for years. The first time was when we needed work done in our backyard replacing a terra cotta trap and some pipe (the date listed above). He was literally about half the price of the other 2 companies that we called. We asked for a minor adjustment to the ventilation pipe he installed and he came back the next day and did that for free. He also worked with us to develop other solutions to our basement flooding problem at low cost -- including suggesting the use of a handyman to just run our gutter pipe away from our house, which did the trick without us spending thousands installing a sump pump. Since then we've used them for everything -- repairing and eventually replacing hot water heaters and various household issues. We always get a call-back right away and he usually comes the same day or the next, without charging rush charges. He always offers ways to help us save money and the work is always high quality. He's someone we feel we can genuinely trust for advice about what actually needs to be done and then to do the work well. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

On one occasion had some damage to the shower from our own attempts at self improvement. Other occasion toilet was leaking, mainly as a result of previous owners shoddy installation. Jimmy from Alpha 1 came both times. Fixed both problems fairly quickly. Went as well as could hope. Work was done quickly. As of now all parts are working as they should.

I do not recall exactly how much piping was redone or why. I was just glad that it was redone. I highly recommend Alpha. They do provide excellent services. They provide all different kinds of services. Considering all that was done, the charge was not bad either. I think they are great and I am happy with them.
